This is an amazing facility with high quality staff and therapists who actually care. In our experience it was perfectly safe and well run. We are beyond grateful for all the support and help they provided to our family.

After years of procrastination for doing my DUI assessment I went to Daymark and did my assessment with Karlene Figueroa and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable she made me fell going through the process. She was very respectful and kind it was a very pleasant experience for a bad situation. Thank you to the staff.

My experience with the SUD class was very smooth and I found it extremely helpful and always felt I was in a comfortable and relaxed setting. Knowledgeable and professional. Although the Moore county location was a little lax on even knowing what and SUD class was. Calling in I didn't even know if I had contacted the correct place. Basically hello what's your name. But over all I was pleased once the classes began.

I've been with RTA for over 10 years and have seen a lot of changes, good and bad, over that time. A bit of my story first, I had several back surgeries and was on Percocet, fentanyl patches, and demerol all prescribed for several years. When time came to cease medications, my surgeon did not taper me down and instead told me to deal with it. RTA was there for me when nothing else was. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect by all staff. I have had several major health problems during my time and these people never failed to make sure that I was receiving the best care I possibly could. Yes, sometimes there are long waits, but there's shortages of nurses in every health care setting across the nation. People don't realize what these nurses go through dealing with several hundred patients a day, some not too happy most of the time, and even people screaming at them to do their job faster. As a retired health care professional myself, I empathize with these nurses and until you've done their job you have no right to criticize. Once these nurses have underwent their extensive training you can get in and out in minutes. The counselors I know there at present are some of the best and most caring people I've had the pleasure to get to know and they have helped me tremendously. Also, I would like to point out one extremely special person, Renita Wallace. She started as my counselor years ago and is now the Program Director. I have never met a person as genuine, kind, and caring as she is. She saved my life as I was going through my health issues in the last 5 years. She even helped my son (with my permission) through these last years. I honestly don't know where I would be without this wonderful lady. She's the best thing that has ever happened to RTA and I hope RTA realizes what they have in her. One last thing, thank you, Holly for also putting up with me over the years even when I couldn't tolerate myself! Thank you to all staff, you've been most wonderful to me!

This place has given me my life back! Everyone here is very understanding and friendly, I don't feel judged. Although it may not be ideal for some, it's better than the alternative. I am able to live a 'normal' life now. On a side note, I just won a free raffle and got all of these goodies. If you are struggling, I would suggest just speaking with them and doing your research to see if it can help change your life too.

I have been going to this clinic for several years and we finally have someone in charge who truly cares about the patients, staff and overall environment of the facility. Given the circumstances of this establishment being shorthanded, Ranita (The director) has been amazing with dealing with patients as they get irritated or agitated because of the wait time due to shortage of nurses. She has helped not only myself, but others I know as well to the best of her capabilities which I haven’t seen anything she isn’t capable of doing. I feel as if she’s not given enough credit for the change she’s brought since becoming director. Secondly, Lashonda, Kellen, and the doctor have also been amazing. If I have any issue going on, everyone works as a team to help resolve whatever the issue may arise. I strongly recommend for anyone interested in MAT treatment to give this place a chance, it is literally lifesaving. Laken Hall

I cannot speak highly enough of the care I’ve received from Dr. Kavita Kothari and therapist Michelle Parrom at Atrium Behavioral Health in Concord. They have been an incredible support system through my journey with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Both are extremely dedicated, compassionate, and truly invested in my well-being. Their support goes beyond our sessions—they consistently provide helpful recommendations, resources, and ensure all necessary paperwork is submitted promptly, especially during times when I struggle to focus on work and manage daily life. Dr. Kothari and Michelle always have my best interest at heart, and their commitment to helping me reach a better place emotionally and mentally means the world to me. The office staff also deserves recognition for their kindness and exceptional customer service. From start to finish, every interaction at this clinic has been welcoming and professional. If you’re looking for mental health support, I highly recommend Atrium Behavioral Health in Concord for their outstanding psychiatry and therapy services. You’ll be in caring and capable hands.

Great place for therapy. I’ve been to a few therapists who have almost convinced me therapy isn’t important or worth another try until I found Zachary Weir. Very good therapist, definitely recommend. The receptionists are very sweet here as well!

I have been with Genesis for over a year and absolutely LOVE every thing about them! I’ll start with scheduling. Once on the schedule, I am able to keep the same appointment day and time every week so I don’t forget it. If I ever have to miss or reschedule, no problem. I am able to call and speak with someone directly or leave a message and my calls are always returned promptly. This is due to the wonderful ladies in the Salisbury office, Stacy and Kacie! These two stay on top of things and if ever I miss an appointment without calling first, they call to check on me to make sure things are okay. They both make need very comfortable and I can tell that they truly care about me and my family. I can’t give them enough praise!!! My therapist, Tal’ Meshia, has been a god send! I, honestly and truly, don’t know what I would do without her! She has been a blessing and has taught me so much about myself and has helped me heal in so many ways. Not just myself but my mother and seven year old daughter look forward to seeing her every week, as well!! I can’t sing enough praise about Genesis! I can honestly say that I have had zero complaints in over a year with them and I look forward to each visit! Thank you ladies for showing me and my family that you really do care about us! It means so very much!!!

Amazing place! I have been going here for a while and they have helped me so much. Only downside is having to wait if you are a walk in and do not have an appointment. Staff at front desk has always been extremely nice and understanding.

I don’t usually write reviews—especially for hospitals—but I felt like I had to this time. From the moment I checked in, Elli at the front desk made such a difference in my experience. She was incredibly sweet, efficient, and quick, and she made everything feel so much less stressful. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out and made me feel welcomed and taken care of. It’s not often you come across someone who makes a hospital visit feel easier, but Elli truly did. She was amazing, and I’m very grateful for her help.

I gave birth here on 11/28. From start to finish, the process was well handled and I felt well taken care of. The triage nurse was really kind, even early in the morning. Our first nurse, Jasmine, was incredibly attentive and made sure I was comfortable. The hand off to Sydney and Laura at night was flawless. The delivery doctor, I believe was Kim Patterson, was very calming even after nearly 4 hours of pushing. On the recovery side, I can't remember her name (too long of a day) was amazingly helpful and attentive. The next day, we had a great team helping us figure out how to do everything. Even having the LC come in was a great resource. Overall, our experience was great and while I still don't feel ready for motherhood, we were given great resources and tools to figure everything out.

With the comfortable homey feel, to the fun informative classes that educate in understanding my disease and gain tools to become a productive member of society! This place saved my life!!! Path of Hope- women's halfway house program truly changed my life. When I arrived, I was lost and unsure of myself, but the staff welcomed me with compassion and gave me the structure and support I needed to rebuild. Through their guidance and the sense of community in the house, I learned accountability, responsibility, and how to live a healthy, sober life. Because of Path of Hope, I now have stability, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose. I’ll always be grateful for the hope and second chance they gave me.

They have been committed to my treatment plan from the front desk experience to every clinician. Tal’meisha was god sent along with Mrs.Albony. You will leave with tools to make your life easier.

Tal’Meisha is a great therapist. She makes me feel seen and heard and also helping me cope with anxiety and personal issues. I feel better every session because it feels like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. also the receptionist are great too they make sure you know about openings to get you scheduled. I love this place. It has helped me tremendously.
