I am so glad I picked next step recovery in Asheville. I ve been to many treatment facilities and next step recovery was surely my absolute favorite for many reasons. I have just recently completed the program and found it extremely helpful in many ways. Next step recovery feels warm, welcoming and understood by everyone. I really enjoyed being a part of the group sessions as well because everyone gets a chance to share and nobody is left out. Group leaders, therapists and staff were also extremely informative knowledgeable and had real life experiences. I want to thank next step again, and I will surely stay in touch!

This luxury center will work with you to address the deep-rooted pain and disconnection to your life you may be facing that is causing your addiction. Silver Ridge in Mills River, North Carol | Treatments Programs Payment Options | Great food, bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy. I have been in treatment before so some of the rules that other clients struggled with were not surprising to me. The office staff could be more organized. Only 4 stars because of not really anyone knowing what the schedule was and the schedule was constantly changing. Equine and art therapy were great. Hikes included packed lunches every week. Had tai chi classes as well were very relaxing. This is a holistic program focusing on mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, there is education about 12 step programs, SMART recovery, and other options as well. Be prepared to ask any questions you may have when calling for intake/admission.

I am grateful to Silver Ridge for providing me with a beautiful environment in the mountains where I could take the time I needed to get well. First I want to say thank you to the kitchen staff for all of the delicious and healthy meals. They truly sustained and helped my physical recovery and that has been vital for me. Thank you to the BHT staff. Robert, Daniel, David, Alex, Jacob.. For being there to talk with us, laugh, talk recovery, groups. Thank you to all the therapists and Mac and Griff for helping me along the way.I made life long friends in my time at silver ridge. And I plan to return for Alumni events and the online meetings ! Silver Ridge has its shortcomings. But no program is perfect and I would recommend anyone struggling with addiction to give it a chance! It has changed my life for the better. - K

Overall a great way to get on track with mental health and sobriety. I wouldn t necessarily recommend this for long term use just from my personal experience. I was at the lowest part of my life and I have never felt that way before. When I went to this place i already had in my head that this will be a waste of time! But the God allowed me to talk with this amazing person .. she was kind, understanding, easy to talk to, she made my first ever experience comfortable. Now I know I m nowhere near healed but she helped me at that moment.. The only thing that sucked was she don t do outpatient therapy only inpatient. I ain t gonna lie I thought about trying to stay there just so I could continue to talk to her .. but seriously if you need help I would recommend going there. if you ever read this just know that you are an amazing person and thank you.. hopefully I ll be able to talk to you again.

Our 22 year old son was failing to launch - gaming, marijuana use and generalized anxiety were issues that prevented him from moving into a healthy and successful adult life. The three months that he spent at Momentum provided just the right mixture of support, insight and challenge to help him channel his energies in a positive direction. His therapist, Joe, was compassionate and effective, and helped motivate our son to reach for more than he thought possible. He left Momentum with a very positive attitude about himself and his possibilities. There are good people here and I have found them. Most of the classes they offer give you wonderful suggestions to learn to set boundaries and manage Anxiety while the one on one actually helps a lot if you get the right person. I feel it has benefited me with suggestions and strategies that you can apply to every day life. As someone said on here you have to do the work yourself. I have experienced quite a journey as a native to Asheville Finding a good fit for a medical team. I should have already written this review. NC Brookhaven By FAR has been the best Treatment Center Experience I've had and that says alot considering I began going here "Virtually at the Height of Covid".Dr. Bryner has been the BEST Psychiatrist I've had in the city hands down. I say this because he is very empathetic to his patients needs. He understands we know our bodies and in conjunction with his expertise he is willing to make sure you are comfortable with your medication management.I am certain this is his calling and all I can do it say Thankyou. If your new to the area and adjusting this is a great place! Also the Ladies at the Front desk are polite punctual and great communicators at one point I lost my meds to a house fire and Dr. Jay and staff were immediately on it. It's so hard these days in the day of technology to find people who have a good balance of empathy and professionalism. Considering your already here to find resolutions.Godbless whoever reads this.Find a place that fits you don't try and fit the place Lesson Learned

I am grateful for the services Appalachian has provided over the past 6-7 years for my patients. Yes, they are understaffed and they are overworked, but they are also the only organization available in our area for people with mental health crises. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They taught him how to survive and thrive in the woods of North Carolina. They taught him how to express his feelings and needs in a way that is respectful to everyone around him. They helped him learn about himself and brought his self-talk over to the positive side of things. They taught him that "he can do hard things". My family is so grateful to this group of people who run this program. We dropped off an angry, selfish, going-nowhere good kiddo and after a lot of work, missteps, repetition, and encouragement, my son had a fabulous growth experience at TRAILS that will serve him the rest of his life. Parents, do not hesitate to go with this program.

Having to use these services was an unfortunate event, but having Miss Yvonne made this experience a positive and I was glad to have her as an instructor. The entire experience was knowledgeable and compassionate. If anyone needs these services, I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend this business. I lived over 30 miles away, but it was completely worth the drive.
