Very helpful in many areas concerning mental health. Having an outside ear to bend is at times easier than talking to someone in your circle. Have learned to deal with my Anxiety, PTSD, and associative disorder. Some things that those close to me just really couldn’t understand. Have been to some of the group sessions and those have been very helpful on many levels. I have recommended this place to others. I don’t know if any of them have taken that first step or not.

I had a small (HUGE) problem with Bayshore a few years back that even resulted in policy change but since then with staffing upgrades the place is awesome. My therapist Chelsea is hands down the best in the industry. I've been in therapy for over 30 years and never made the personal growth I have experienced with my team at Bayshore. They. Eat the other local option, Firelands, alive. I would have given 5 stars but I hold resentments for my incident there, but I'll add that to the list of things I need to work on.

There is one person that I personally am rating 5 stars because ever since I got there she has been very nice, has more manners than royalty, and a lot of others feel the same. She donated food clothes and helped me out when I was in need. Don't take kindness for weakness though if you pull up with bad energy? Brightveiw has been such a blessing for me. They do things a little different there….but, IT WORKS!!!! It is totally a no judgement zone where they don’t make a person feel bad for anything. The entire staff will welcome you with open arms. I know I’m in the right place when the staff are genuinely happy to be at work. I love the whole team, but one smile in particular really made me feel unafraid and at peace on my first day there (and everyday since then) and that’s Jeremy!!! He is so kind and welcoming. He is the first person you see when you come in and the last one to wish you well on the way out. I am so thankful for this place!!

I have been coming to BrightView for around 6 months after going to pinnacle for 6 years. It is a wonderful place. All the staff have been awesome and treat the patients as humans not as just another addict. From the front desk to nurses to the counselors to the Drs. A lot of the staff have been there a few years which that right there tells you its a good place bc thats rare in this line of work. I do telehealth for counseling which I love . Carrie has been one of the best counselors I have ever had or seen. She's at #2 in my own chart. I hope to start taking the steps to wean off and this is first time I've ever felt confident about doing it despite the pain as I know there are ways to deal with it now. I'm so happy I switched to here.

I had a lovely stay here! Brittany was an amazing therapist as well as Kellie. Shout out Doug & Elliot for being amazing group facilitators, definitely made the group attendance worth while. The food quality was great, plenty of options even if you’re picky. I would definitely recommend a stay here, definitely exceeded my expectations and see the bar pretty high for my first (and last) stay at a recovery center.

I loved it here so very much. The staff is amazing and have experienced or have had a loved one experience addiction of some sort. Their testimonies are so so inspiring. Special thanks to Ms.Jen for feeding us amazing food and making us gain a lotta lbs before we leave LMAO. Thankful to Devin for his groups with us ladies, where he was able to get us to become vulnerable with each other and left us thinking about the topic even when group was over. Never thought I could be so honest with myself nor vulnerable like that with a group. When I seen the reviews I had thought ‘Wow. All these five star reviews, it cannot be that good’. Arrowhead cared for me when I was unable to care for myself. From the time I walked through the door to the time I left, they cared. They bend over backwards to move us to a healthy mindset to succeed. It's not uncommon for The Admistrators to come out of their offices and walk through Unit and talk to us and ask how can they help us on our journey and address our needs. What can they do to improve? I know this personally because one day this lady dressed in sparkling white was walking through the Unit with a clipboard. I asked "Sooo are you the Good Witch of the East?". She smiled (and that particular day I needed that smile) and replied "Actually I'm the CEO". I was like "So you're in charge?" She continued to smile as she nodded her head. I asked if we can go on a field trip. She laughed and said not now, but after you're discharged you can anywhere you want. Then she asked if I had a couple of minutes and we sat and had a conversation. She immediately started taking notes. How was I being treated, did I have additional needs they could accommodate and questions along that line. We talked for 20 - 30 minutes. Why would a CEO talk to ME for that long?...because she and her staff really do care. I have no doubt that should ANYBODY findself themself in a situation where they realize they need some help, Arrowhead is where you wanna start. They've got your 6.

I graduated from Aster Springs over three months ago, but I’m just doing this now. ASOH is a lovely place. The staff is beyond lovely. The biggest shout out to all of the RCS. They are absolutely amazing. They work so hard to make sure we're all doing okay. They're very accepting of constructive criticism. I do think that coming here saved my life and paved a path for the future. Six months ago, I didn't think recovery was possible, I thought everyone was faking it, but now, I can confidently say that recovery is possible. ❤️pp graphite Here's something I wrote on my last night in res: Treatment has been one of the best things for me. Three months ago, I was a shell of a human. I don't recognize the person she was. And I don't want to. She was miserable and just didn't know it yet. I was the girl who argued this was fun. But when I went to treatment, a whole new world opened up for me. I had the chance to be seen by people who not only understood me, but understood how to help. I had the chance to learn, to grow, and to make mistakes. For the longest time, I was in and out of behaviors, trying to fight the process. But one day, I stopped fighting it. So what if I eat food? So what if I don't look like I want? Who cares? You only live this life once, why spend it flirting with death? That's the type of shit I hated hearing, but now? These are things I can not only say, but believe. I never wanted to get better. I never wanted to come here, but I did. I did and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Everyone thinks residential is some scary place where they force food down your throat and all the clients stab each other in the back whenever they can, but it doesn't have to be that way. I learned how to make friends. I made the strongest connections with the sweetest people who hurt just as deeply as I did. We talked, we joked, we laughed, we held each other accountable, and we cried when they left. Your support system is so important. If you can't do it for yourself yet, do it for those in the milieu. Listen to the staff, listen to your therapists. They gave me my life back. When I look back now, I don't understand myself. I don't understand the girl who wanted nothing more than to shrink. That's not living. I wasn't living. I was dying. I just didn't want to admit it, even at my sickest. I don't know why I thought that was the only way life could be. Life is so much more than that when food isn't the enemy or when food isn't your only way of communication. I never thought I could do it. I never thought I could get better. I never thought I'd leave the cycle. But I did. I'm not done recovering. I still have a long way to go. Maybe I will never stop recovering. But that doesn't sound so scary anymore. It really doesn't. I'll always have thoughts, but now I know what it's like to have something good in life. There's more to life than suffering. And that's beautiful. I never thought I'd get the point that I'm at today. But I did. I have made so many friends, learned so many things, and had so many amazing experiences. So, I'm sitting here, the night before I leave residential, crying. Not crying because I'm sad or upset, but crying because I'll miss this place. The experiences, both good and bad, my friends who I will miss dearly, and the staff that coached me and comforted me. While leaving may be scary and I'm leaving so much behind, the biggest thing I'm leaving behind is my eating disorder. And that's powerful. Seeing myself three months ago, I did the impossible. I'm leaving Residential. And while there are many mixed emotions, the most important, I'm feeling hopeful. I'm feeling confident that everything will be okay, and food really isn't as bad as it might seem. So take it from me, or don't. That's your choice. But you know what else is your choice? Recovery. And recovery IS possible. For anyone, whether you believe it or not. I didn't believe I could recover, I wasn't even sure if. I wanted to. But look at where I am now. I'm doing the impossible, because maybe "impossible" isn't as hard as I thought it would be.

I did a walk in for severe pain in my leg without any appointment! From the check in desk, to my primary doctors,. Nurse, physical therapist gentleman, and x ray staff all were absolutely incredible and kind!!! Wait was short and treatment was absolutely wonderful!! Be thankful the lord has blessed us with truly amazing individuals at the Toledo clinic!!! God Bless them all and thank you all for caring for us veterans!!
