I successfully completed my program last week. The 35 days I spent there have not only saved my life, I also now, for the first time in 43 years, LOVE myself. My counselor, Lisa, helped me put faith in myself, which I never experienced before. All the techs where awesome to me, I'd like to shout out Helen. Everyday she put a smile on and that smile is contagious, at the same time she genuinely cared everytime she asked myself, or anyone else how they where doing, that means a lot to so many of us, that were in those rooms. Pyramid saved my life and im forever grateful 🙏!! THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!
UPDATE:
: June 2026, will be 3 years, I am Blessed, rank you!

I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

6 years sober here after running the methadone program for 2 years to get off of opiates and benzos. Shout out to vanja, dawn, julissa and the rest of the nursing staff for helping make recovery possible. Some people go to get sober. Some people go to maintain getting high in a safe way when doing the methadone program. To each their own. I personally made a goal and got off and never looked back! So thankful for this program. It saves my life.

This is my 2nd review. My 1st review was from 3 years ago when I first started at Northeast Family Healthcare. Since then I had to transfer because I moved and I thought that I would write another review to let people know that for 3 years the staff faithfully stayed true to their teachings and never once judged me or made me feel like a low piece of s@%! even when I relapsed. I never had to lie who I was and cheat my way thru the program to stay in the program. After being a client at Northeast Family Healthcare in Quakertown for 3 years, I can honestly say this clinic has been life-changing for me. Having to transfer due to my move to another County was one of the hardest parts about relocating.
What sets Northeast Family Healthcare apart is their incredible staff. Every person I encountered there treated me with dignity, respect, and genuine care. In recovery settings, being treated like a human being rather than just another case makes all the difference. i do want to base this review on my therapist.
I cannot emphasize enough how instrumental Anna was in my recovery journey. In my 20+ years in various treatment programs (since 1999), I've NEVER connected with a therapist the way I did with Anna from day one. For all three years, she was my rock and a consistent source of support.
What made Anna exceptional was her genuine approach to therapy. She truly listened - not just nodded along, but actually remembered details from our previous sessions. During my struggles and occasional relapses, she never once responded with anger, criticism, or disappointment. Instead, she helped me explore what happened, develop better coping strategies, and work through my underlying traumas.
Anna's sincerity and passion for helping others is evident in everything she does. She clearly loves her job, and that authentic care makes all the difference for clients like me. I can confidently say that without her guidance, I wouldn't be clean today. Anna, I am going to miss you so much. You clearly were a gift from God. Thankyou for being you and accepting me for me. i had so much fun in our weekly Zoom meetings. I am clean today with the help from you and never giving up on me. Please keep in touch and if you ever find another job please keep my contact info and let me know. (This is a prime example of why stable treatment is a must and consistently having the same therapist instead of always getting a new therapist assigned to you.)
For anyone seeking treatment at Northeast Family Healthcare (1040 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951), whether for methadone or Suboxone treatment, know that you'll be in compassionate, capable hands. The entire team creates an environment where healing feels possible, even when you've struggled for decades like I had.
I will deeply miss this facility and the incredible people who work there, especially Anna. They've set the standard for what quality, compassionate addiction treatment should look like.

The facility and programming, and especially the staff and clinical team is unwavering in their dedication to the process and clients. Norristown, PA | Valley Forge Medical Center and Hospital of Norristown, Pennsylvania, offers substance abuse and mental health services. There are lots of options in the medical center, including a detox program and a residential rehabilitation program. The clinic accepts self pay and various insurances, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Valley Forge Medical Center p | Treatments Programs Payment Options | My sister and I admitted our father to the rehabilitation center six days ago. Only the workers and patients are allowed inside. The guard stopped us at the door, but he was friendly and empathetic. He assured us that he would be well taken care of, which was true. I was particularly concerned about his safety and well-being because of the negative reviews I had read. According to the rehab policy, I couldn’t contact him, and he was only allowed to make phone calls with his counselor. He managed to make one call and was released today. I finally had the opportunity to talk to him about his experience.
Our father is a retired attorney and highly intelligent, but he has struggled with addiction throughout his life. He can be belligerent and argumentative at times. I was unsure how the staff and residents would interact with him.
To my delight, my father had an excellent experience at the center. He described the facility as spotlessly clean and the staff as friendly and cultured. He praised the food and mentioned that he was able to get plenty of rest. The only downside he mentioned was that patients were limited to two or three ten-minute smoke breaks outside and there were no activities to keep them occupied, making his days feel long. I found this to be a pity, considering the center’s beautiful surroundings. Fresh air and sunlight are essential for health and well-being, but that was the only complaint he had. Overall, I highly recommend this center and wish my father had chosen to stay longer.
I would also like to mention that the admission process was quick and easy. The representative was very friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this center, provided that you are okay with not being able to contact or speak with anyone from the center at all or hear from your loved one on a very limited basis.
Thank you!!

Entered Valley Forge Hospital 36 years ago today (July 18,1981) and today I celebrate 36 years of continuous sobriety. The staff at the time taught me to listen, learn and examine my motives. I was a horrible patient but they got through in spite of myself. We started the Valley Forge Alumni Association (me, Linda McD. and and Curt C.) in 1981.The place has done a lot of good for a lot of people. Sobriety isn't for those who want it or even for those who need it. Sobriety is for those who are willing to do the work to earn it. Once we stop complaining and start doing the work, life gets better. May God continue to bless us all. EDIT. Just celebrated 45 years of continued sobriety. Everything I said 9 years ago still holds true. Sobriety is earned on a daily basis. Life is wonderful. July 18, 2026. Keep on keeping on. Sobriety works...... Just keep doing the work.

Dear St. Luke's Hospital Administration,
I am writing to share my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care my family receives at your hospital. My husband and I are parents of a non-verbal autistic child, and medical emergencies can be particularly challenging for us. During a recent emergency on July 24, 2026, your entire staff provided incredible care from the moment we arrived until the next morning.
We always feel respected, heard, and confident that our child is receiving the best possible care. Despite the high-pressure environment, every employee and doctor we encountered was pleasant and professional.
I would like to recognize a few individuals who went above and beyond, whether by checking on our needs, following up with us, or helping resolve an issue with obtaining my child's medication after discharge:
- Dr. Adaola Onyenaka
- Nurse Zachary Pattison
- Nurse Ethan
- Sarah Kiechel
St. Luke’s is truly blessed to have them on staff. Thank you all for your dedication and wonderful care.
Sincerely,
Samantha E

I had the best experience at Eagleville in regards to the therapist, Miss Bonnie & Miss Elonda. Miss Bonnie was my therapist and she truly goes above & beyond not only for her clients but for any client that needs an ear to listen or advice on a situation. Her door was always open and still is even though I am no longer there. I just celebrated a year clean and Miss Bonnie plays a huge part in that. She helped me to grow in ways I never thought I could but because of how genuine she is I felt comfortable to open up and I respect her in so many ways and because of that I was able to open up and deal with things I didn't think I could. I had to end a really toxic relationship and Miss Bonnie sat with me just because she knew I needed the support. She will always hold a special place in my heart. On another note..... our case manager on the woman's side, Lordess unfortunately did not contribute these same caring characteristics. On many occasions Miss Bonnie would assist with situations that were for Lordess but we went to Miss Bonnie because we knew she would get it done because she cares about the well being of her clients. If I wouldn't have taken the initiative to find a recovery house I would've been discharged to the street. Also I filled out 2 applications. 1 for my social security card and 1 for my Birth Certificate and 3 months later I still do not have them. I believe that Eagleville, Cedar building needs a case manager that is going to care and participate in the clients well being as much as Miss Bonnie and Miss Elonda.

I admit I manipulated a situation to fit my narrative without realizing how much harm my review has cost them ,their staff, and other recovering addict. Not only did I relapse after I ended up going to pyramid twice and didn't even bother to thank the directors of this place for giving me a 2nd opportunity to begin with. So since I'm in recovery now Im very greatful this place put me on the path to recovery and showed or taught me things about myself I never knew gave me an opportunity to become a better more self aware version of my self for that I'm grateful for places like this to keep their door open for addicts such as my self. If you feel this place did you wrong come that's due to addiction's perspective please I pray you get better and go again when the time is right and give a review when you are in a better more appropriate state of mind . I was selfish self centered and arrogant I no longer see from active addictions point of view . Please don't ruin this places reputation if it doesn't work for you because at least they keep the doors open to help anyone seeking recovery. Once again I'm grateful and I apologize for the mess I left behind I hope you guys accept this apology and may God bless yous all 🙏🏽.

I only just got done with the intake phone call with Crystal, and I already feel like things are going to be better. If even half of the staff members at the facility I go to are as kind, professional and understanding as she was then I know that this will be a great experience

I just want to take a minute and express my sincere gratitude for Hope Springs! My entire life I was one of those people who said "Therapy isnt useful, you can help yourself" until I couldnt help myself anymore.. I was so hesitant to go to therapy until I couldnt handle myself anymore.. Hope springs not only exceeded my expectations on Therapy but its showing me things that everyone needs in their life! Skills, tools, acceptance, and just space. I am truly grateful and appreciate the services they provide. Rikki and Rob you both have no idea the impact your creating in my life and Im thankful to God for placing in your path for my mental health! Definitely recommend reaching out to Hope Springs if you feel you need support during any phase of life!

My first time working with the excellent counselors at Hope Springs. Having no prior experience, I came with no expectations or understanding of the program. I have found the IOP program to be well-organized and the entire staff to be professional, friendly, and interested only in the well-being of the participants. A thoroughly positive experience.
