I was here in August and some of the improvements they have made have been awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone who is serious about recovery. The staff is great and the knowledge I have obtained will help me on this journey.

I started working for MLRC in May of 2022. This is by far the best job I’ve had had. You know I’ve heard it said that if you love your job you will never work another day in your life. 😊 I absolutely love my position as Activities Assistant. I look forward to coming to work every day! This is where I will retire! Thank you Mirror Lake for taking a chance on me. I am forever grateful for this opportunity! Our team works together for one common goal… to help the sick and suffering addicts/alcoholics that want to change their way of life. I freely give of what’s been given to me. Today I am 3 1/2 years into my job here and there is no where else I’d rather be.

I currently work at MLRC. We are going through some big changes right now but the people I work with and our clients are still what make Mirror Lake special. We have some of the most dedicated staff who go above and beyond for our clients. Sometimes change is hard but so recovery so we all learn together❤️

I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T EVEN SUGGEST THAT IN MY OPINION!! TO ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH OPIATES ESPECIALLY, FENTANYL, DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU'RE BETTER OFF DOING IT ON YOUR COUCH!! 'SEROQUEL' FOR YOUR INSOMNIA 😂 AND 'REQUIP' FOR YOUR MUSCLE SPASMS AND RESTLESS LEGS, 'BACLOFEN' FOR PAIN AND ANTIDEPRESSANTS FOR MENTAL HEALTH 😂 SO IF THESE MEDICATIONS WERE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE HOSPITAL TRIP THEN WHY WERENT THEY UTILITIZED BEFORE THE DETOXING PATIENT GOT TO SUCH A UNSTABLE STATE OF HEALTH PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY???!! THEN ON TOP OF IT ALL AFTER YOU START SUBOXONE YOURE NOW PUT IN THE RESIDENTIAL PART WHERE YOU ARE PUSHED WAY TOO QUICKLY WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION FROM STAFF TO BE EXPECTED TO SPRAWL BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN DIFFERENT GROUP THERAPIES ACROSS THE CAMPUS FROM 6:30 AM TIL 8 PM ALL DAY EVER DAY IN THE HEAT COLD RAIN SNOW OR SUN MELTING YOUR SKIN OFF IF YOU DON'T FEEL GOOD TOUGH SHIT CAUSE YOU'RE KICKED OUT AND LOCKED OUT OF YOUR CABIN ALL DAY TOO. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT ASKING A COUNSELOR OR TECH IF YOU CAN GO SEE MEDICAL TO GET A MED PASS TO REST THEY WILL KEEP YOU FROM DOING SO AND THEN IF YOU EVEN DO MAKE IT TO MECICAL ITS STILL A LOW CHANCE THEY WILL GIVE YOU A PASS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET ANY RESULTS IS BY SHOWING YOUR ASS AND THROWING A FIT. THERES PLENTY MORE TO THE HORROR STORY OF THIS HELL HOLE BUT ILL LEAVE IT AS IS FOR NOW.. PS DONT LET YOUR PROVIDER KNOW YOU GOT A LITTLE SLEEP AFTER STARTING SUBOXONE BECAUSE IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE IN 2021 THAT SIGNIFIED TO THE DOCTOR THAT I WAS CURED 😂😆 AND THEN HE CUT MY SUBOXONE OFF ON DAY FOUR SO I CHECKED MYSELF OUT AND JUST WENT TO A SUBOXONE CLINIC, TAKE MY MEDICATION WHEN NEEDED AND ALSO DIDN'T WASTE 26,800 DOLLARS ON A SORRY EXCUSE OF A REHAB FACILITY.

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. Can't thank them enough.

This program at Onsite Workshops has changed my life, they gave me an opportunity to engage in many different therapeutic modalities including amount others song, equine, adventure, group and individual sessions with experts in each field who care.

I loved this place, although at first i was scared for being with complete strangers but we rapidly bonded together and realized we are all connected in our search for recovery. The therapies were super good and i truly disconnected so that i could had time to heal myself and defeat the addiction. Such a great place.

Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years". The care and concern the team showed for me and my sister made a marked impact on our experience. I am truly grateful to Miles and the Onsite team

Just like nearly any other program not everything is perfect but its not like we were perfect to begin with or we wouldnt of been there. I also specifically want to say never let them tell you that relationships wont work fresh out of recovery because I found the absolute love of my life and the mother of my daughter at freeman and WE TOGETHER fight addiction as a team!! Everyone has been an amazing help and have been very kind. I have enjoyed my stay and have enjoyed laughing again with new people I can call friends and an amazing community.

The counselors and the rest of the staff are amazing, the facilities are nice, the rooms are very comfortable and the food very delicious. I would recommend this place to all the people who suffer and need treatment. Definitely this experience changed my life, I am a new person with a lot of desire to live and enjoy life but free of drugs and alcohol.

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

This program & support system gave my family our sister back.She accomplished so many life goals.The tools she was taught at Next Door truly helped out whole family.Sadly the rate of addicts that return to addiction is very very high .My sister Amanda Gail Thomas died right after copping dope in Tullahoma TN & the driver of the car my sister was riding in Amanda Lacuriscio had just shot up & caused a wreck my sister was ejected & died on the street.Our family 🙏 knew that we would some day get that call because treatment also means staying away from old friends & X lovers that have addiction!!Please remember this true life story

This place is absolutely the most solid program in TN! They rebuilt my trust and faith in others and my own self worth. They continue to be there as long as you are open to it. If you or your loved one are truly ready this is THE PLACE TO GO!♡♡♡

After 7 years in recovery, I relapsed for the first time and found myself in my first treatment center, The Next Door. I have mental health issues coupled with addiction. I have to say that I was and am still completely impressed with the program, the amount of care, and the amazing women who make up what is The Next Door. They not only address the most pressing issue, which is substance abuse, they also take into account the mental health issues and how they are inextricably linked, not to mention, help to mitigate the sometimes serious physical side effects brought about by the co-occuring disorders. I have trouble finding words to express just how life saving, life affirming, and incredibly life changing it was to be a patient at TND. They continue to support me in my journey and teach me how to live life learning to become the best version of myself as long as I want it and am willing to do the work with open-mindedness and honesty. The Next Door gives new life!

International Plaza is an incredible place, they have all the services that a person could need, and the service they gave me was of first quality, I am really happy to have decided to come to this place, don't hesitate this place really worth.

Came here from the gallentin VA location due to doctor issues and Dr. P here at the plaza location and his staff were excellence. After many years of trying to get PT for my back issues one simple visit of Dr P hearing and understanding my pain he swiftly stepped into action to take care of me. Thanks team

I want to say how much I love Applegate and the care I have received during my recovery. Suboxone therapy has changed my life. They are helping me with the tools I need to lead a normal life.

The female doctor that I had there was amazing

This for people who have been on narcotics too long, rather legally or not. This place is for people who eventually want to quit narcotics, safety, and be reintroduced back into society as a functional, normal way of living.

I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

One of the best detox services I have ever had. I would highly recommend them.

I took a loved one here for detox, and an extended stay. The staff (while following all legal procedures) treated my family member with respect and empathy. The staff treat them like people, NOT like patients. They’re accommodating and helpful. The facility is safe, comfortable, well maintained, and equipped to be a hospital without the irredentist lights and straight jackets.

Put simply, JourneyPure saved my life. I was at the proverbial fork-in-the-road where I could die or I could choose to take action and regain control of my destiny. Called Journey pure at my lowest point in life and from the first day I called they helped me put myself back together, from therapy to medication to help myself stay sober. The entire staff from the lady answering the call on intake to the doctors and therapists, they all have your best interest in mind and are there to help and MAKE SURE you improve your quality of life with sobriety. Tim Byrum has been the greatest therapist anyone could ask for. I highly recommend him as a Therapist and Journey pure as a facility. I never thought i'd be at 31 days sober but here I am and IM PROUD OF IT!

The group therapist Tim Byrum is hands down the best group therapist this facility has. He goes above and beyond for the people in the group and I truly felt connected with the group and Tim when attending his group. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!!
