I was transferred here from a somewhat larger hospital specifically for the orthopedic surgeon Dr. Terry, after having an accident and breaking my leg. I was nervous for many reasons, one of which it being a smaller hospital I was concerned about my level of care. Everyone I came in contact with was so nice and caring and truly helpful to me during this awful time. So many people went out of their way to make me comfortable and to make sure I had what I needed. Not just while I was there but after I went home too. I don’t remember everyone’s name but the few I do remember were my 3 nurses, Lila, Jenny, and Lori. They were so sweet and good to me and I loved just having conversations and getting to know them. Even after getting home I received a call and a card from the surgery team just to check and see how I am. Would absolutely go back and also recommend to others.

The VA has come a long way. I remember getting out of the military about 20 years ago and dealing with delays in scheduling appointments, receiving prescriptions, and a general lack of communication.
My experience in the past two years since moving here, especially here in Cookeville, is completely different. I’m notified well in advance of appointments, and my specialists and PACT team have been some of the best. If there’s ever an issue with a prescription or something I need, a quick message usually gets it taken care of the same day.
I’m grateful for the team here and, more importantly, the consistency they provide. Veterans deserve good, dependable care, and that has been my experience with the Cookeville VA.

I just talked to this Mental Health facility because I was curious as to why 2 people left 1 Stat reviews and the rest were 5 star reviews. I spoke with a very nice lady that explained there services clearly. I've come to the conclusion that that 2 bad reviews were somewhat out of line.

I've been going to mental health places all my life. Most I've had bad experiences at. I recently moved here and gave them a call on a bad day asking for services. I was greeted with kind and calming voices and some awesome ladies who understood the help I needed. This place has out done all of the places I've been too.

I truly wanted to get on here and thank Ashley and Dr. Hill for their outstanding customer service. I work for the Department of Children's Services. It is known that our job is very unpredictable and our clients sometimes need attended to at a short notice. S2L Is a Christ centered recovery center for women. I had only been to 1 other treatment center (back in the 90's, it was 12 Step, secular recovery) The way I found S2L was by no doubt God doing for me what I couldn't do for myself. These ladies poured their hearts & souls into my spirit, reminding me of: who I am in Christ & who GOD is & how GOD sees me. I was only able to stay for 2 weeks due to health complications that were beyond S2L's capabilities. But what I can say is, after only 2 weeks, I came home to chaos with family & intense physical pain & I never once wanted to use alcohol or anything else to change the way I felt. The staff there are truly committed to the people they serve & unselfishly go out of their way to lift you up with the Word of God. I've been home for a little over a week now, my dad still hates me & I'm looking for somewhere to live with no clue how things will work out. However, I know Who is in control & I'm not worried about these things. I feel confident in Christ, he's always pursued me & has always provided.
The only other things I want to add are: 1. like most all treatment centers there are strict rules to abide by, go in with an open mind. These rules are for your good. 2. Be prepared to climb stairs to a lot of the classes & groups.

This place has been so amazing! This was truly a move of God to get here and stay all 6 weeks and to go home not powerless but aware of Holy Spirit in me .. I became the clearest in my mind after a very long time. With all of the leaders there and my coach Emily, I was truly blessed. God is in this place! I would always recommend S2L with the christian standards they have. And the love that everyone shown me was almost unfamiliar after so much turmoil but so so sweet. And to have a sisterhood now that I needed!

My case managers, Maddie and Megan were amazing . Nothing left undone in attended when it came to my concerns , insurance , personal needs . To my knowledge they quoted at each step and assured me that my insurance covered my treatment of which I was unable to afford myself.

TND is the most amazing facility ive ever been to! They saved my life. So many extracurricular activities. The peers, BHTs, nurses and therapist are all amazing. The food is soo good, nothing like normal facility food! Its amazing! I love this place so much and I can not recommend it enough. I could write an essay on this place and all it has to offer. Please please pick this facility, you will not regret it. 10s all across the board. Good luck and youve got this. This is the place to get sober for sure.

Great place for rehab as far as an on-campus facility. Being part of a group allows you to look at yourself closer. We were all different but yet still there for the same reason. Staff was great and honest and always fair. I feel like I would have stopped alcohol without rehab, but Cumberland Heights assured it with its teachings and the things I learned. This place has changed my life. I've been going to BHG for about 5 years, or longer. I remember using my DOC the morning I went. Just one last time. I was ready to be done with the terrible life I had created.
I've been through many doctors, many counselors, and a few directors, while treating my addiction. BHG was there for me through covid. It was more time consuming, but they opened their doors and helped me. Right around the time I bought a house, BHG opened a new facility in Madison. It's about 20 minutes from my house. Ok so I been in treatment centers before but this specific one is amazing they have went above and beyond to make sure I’m all set !!! Like they really did !!!!! I highly recommend them if you are serious about getting clean because they will help you , Rebecca is amazing !!!! I absolutely love her she really went out of her way to make sure I was all set ! The doctors at this VA are pretty good. I’ve been to several VA‘s over the years and this one is run more efficiently and consistent. Also, the women’s health clinic in Murfreesboro is amazing. I’m very fortunate. I’m able to use these benefits. Both facilities are confusing like mazes ha ha but overall impressive.

My name is Daye Cooper. My experience at Brentwood Springs was amazing for the most part. I only had problems with one particular nurse who refused to give me medication that the doctor had already ordered, causing me to be in withdrawal for three days from a medication that I had no plans on stopping. Apparently, she had her own personal reasons for not wanting to give me my medication. She felt like I shouldn’t be taking it to begin with??? Once a more experienced nurse came in, though she took care of it and fixed the problem. The entire staff is kind and caring. The medication’s are very customized to each individual. When I felt like I was getting sick they extended my taper to make sure that I was not uncomfortable. The meals are catered or homemade. The kitchen pantry is stocked as well as the refrigerator and freezer. There are plenty of drinks and snacks including juice and fruit. I was able to reach out to my family on a regular basis and was given great advice about aftercare. I would recommend them to anyone seeking help in recovery.

I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.
