I was drinking so much I was falling and hurting myself and ruining my marriage and on a path to possibly loosing job and even land myself in jail. I was miserable and at rock bottom. Once there after the detox period i started attending group therapy sessions, individual therapy session’s sessions, and working with the techs to become involved in my recovery process. First 5 days i was detoxing and once that was over i got super involved in the program and day by day got better each day. I received excellent nursing and medical provider support. I had amazing group therapy sessions. I was fed delicious meals every day. I had a great case manager and had a primary therapist who was absolutely perfect. The staff was absolutely first class and my treatment started me on a successful path to recovery. This place literally changed my life. They took care of my every need physically, mentally, and emotionally. I highly recommend if you need help for addiction this is where you need to be. And let me just say it is truly beautiful on the other side! I was scared and near death but I kept going back to try for recovery each time. I hope a woman sees this and realizes it’s possible and takes the step and calls!!! Some times if you have to cancel an appointment it takes a while to get another but if it is something like a diabetic ulcer, they will double book to get you in sooner. My father died in this facility in the Alzheimer award and 1999. They were so caring with him the last six months of his life. I lived In Smyrna at the time so I would come and see him about four or five days a week. My sister and my mother would come from Clarksville every other Saturday because of my mother‘s health she couldn’t do it very much, but it helped them that I was close by. We were so pleased with the care he got. Thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the VA 99% of them are great. My lower back pain, only because of his help, has been reduced by 80-90%. He doesn’t advocate for opiate use and/or dependancy! I’ve been going for 3 years and NEVER have I been offered or counseled to begin opiate prescriptions. I admire, respect, and enjoy treatment at this clinic. Dr. Q is to be commended and the staff he works with are RESPECTFUL, CARING, and TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN TO THE PATIENTS! I am thoroughly pleased and will stay as long as Dr. Q is there!
