Not to be antagonistic, but most, if not all of the complaints on here are from people who were asked to leave because they refused to submit to the leadership of HC, or they just left on their own because they were not serious enough about getting TOTALLY clean. My son went through the men s HC program 2 separate times in Waverly (which is located near McEwen). The 1st time he completed the program, but relapsed later and had to go through the program again. The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!!

Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!!

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

I attended Mirror Lake during aug-sept of 24. The place was pretty awesome. The staff was amazing. I can truly say that I never had a single issue with a single staff member. While I was attending there was a change in leadership. Let me tell you, it was a great move. The (boss man) you know who you are.....was great. He was out and about amongst us clients. He wanted to know what could be done to make our stay better. If it was possible he made it happened. He never told a lie, or exaggerated the truth. He also never just told you what you wanted to hear, just to get you out of the way. He was straight forward. I respect that in leadership. Ok. Now that we have that covered. I must say that the only thing that I did dislike...was having to be locked out of the cabins all day. I understand that we are there for recovery. Unfortunately, everyone does not rehabilitate the same way. That is an issue that may need to be addressed. Other than that one issue, this place is definitely a spot to chose for your or you loved ones recovery. Before I go, I have to mention the art class. The best 2 days of the week. Freeman recovery has been a God sent to my family. My husband is currently there and is now in IOP and I can truly from the bottom of my heart say thank you. I wasn t really sure what to expect with this clinic beings as I was coming from a clinic in Bowling Green, KY that I did not have a very good experience with as far as the staff/competence goes. I have been in the VA system for 20 years at different locations. The clinic in Clarksville is by far the best. The staff are polite and professional. Sure, it might be busy and my appointment may not start exactly on time. However, every provider that I have encountered has never rushed me or not taken their due diligence to answer any questions that I have.

They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment.They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. This place was great. All the emoyees were so kind to me. I was in the adult unit and I actually really enjoyed my time here. My stay was two weeks exactly and everyone was so helpful. I didn t have a place to go and Edith did everything she could to find me a place and I am so grateful for her and all the staff. I don t know why the reviews for this place are so bad. I loved it here. I almost didn t wanna leave I felt so cared for and supported. My psychiatrist, Margarat listened and understood. Groups were really helpful. I LOVED pretty much all the techs. Holly, JoJo, and Angel were my favorites haha. Only giving a 4 star though because I do feel like I needed more one on one therapy which I did not get And the cleanliness of this place is not good. Cafeteria always smelled weird and was diguisting Took housekeeping three days to clean up volmit in the quiet room in the adult unit But as far as my actual treatment goes, I feel 10000% better than I did when I came in. I was there for mental health and I know I still have a long way to go, but I feel like this place helped me grow and will help me continue to grow and it help prepare me for my next journey. Today is my first day out and it almost feels weird not being there lol. I am forever grateful for this place so thank you to all the staff that helped me.

I went here like maybe a month ago it was after Halloween before Thanksgiving and don't remember when exactly it was but it was around that time frame the techs are so nice like actually they made my experience there so amazing I went there on behalf of suicidal ideation and a lot of the other people who were there with me were also in there for that reason I was in the adolescent girls unit and there was only one girl who was not there for suicidal thoughts he was actually there for homicidal thoughts but I mean she was fine she was only there for 3 Days of my entire day which was in a week long and I met a lot of really nice people there but you're not guaranteed to meet nice people like I did so I'm not going to count that as part of the review instead I'm going to say that the schedules were very clean and tidy trust me everyone wanted to have gym twice like straight up the boys came to the adolescent girls even though they weren't supposed to solely because it is amazing. They have really good lunch food and it's a real variety however the morning food with normally the same every day you got hash browns sausages and biscuits and sometimes it would be pancakes sometimes there will be waffles I loved my stay and in life or death matter, I would come back

You will not find a better place to be a patient than this. The staff here is outstanding and will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and get you taken care of. They probably saved my life. Just be up front and honest about everything and let them make it work.It is the attitude of the staff and the level of comfort I feel when I go there that has made it so easy to continue going and stay on this path. In fact, I enjoy it so much that I continue to go weekly instead of going down to less appointments each month.The point is if you need a service that they offer here, do yourself a favor and at least come check it out. I took my son there when he was about 17 or so (he's 23 yrs old now) and they changed his life! He has autism and bipolar manic disorder. He wasn't diagnosed correctly at McKenzie Medical and the Dr here got him on the correct medication. We no longer live in Tennessee but I hope they see this and know he's still doing great (except for the seizures) Thanks for helping my son when no one else had a clue!I'd like to add that the medicaid in Tennessee is horrible! No dental or vision coverage??? What's up with that?? and finding a good Dr, especially a psychiatrist is a huge task. Glad to be back in Ohio where my son and I both are well taken care of physically and mentally. And we both have dental and vision coverage.

Michelle, a staff member is a Godsend and very compassionate. She gave information of the whole process of where to begin in the programs. evaluation

These folks here are fantastic people. I got really sick from guys at work. I had just gotten the flu vaccine. Then a week later everyone at work had little bit of everything. 1 had covid, 1 had strepthroat really bad, the other had some type of respiratory infection. I thought my vaccine had me covered. Instead I got some kinda crazy respiratory sickness. Tried to fight it off with vitamins and fluids. It got horrible. I could have gone to acute care across the street. That charges the VA $160 for a covid test (rip off!!!!), and u have to get the test to get treatment. So I thought why not check in at the new location. The people there were amazing. Luckily someone had canceled a appointment and they were able to fit me in. They fixed me up with everything I needed. My sickness flu whatever it was that I had been fighting for almost 3 weeks was gone in a few days of my treatment. So thankful for these folks. Saved my biscuits!!!
