Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years".

Did an individual intensive here that was at the same time as a Living Centered workshop, so I did some activities with that group as well as being able to focus on some deep healing work.
I had an incredible time, it was much more powerful than I expected. I did see the benefit of doing one of the group workshops, and hope to attend one in the future! The people at Onsite are truly remarkable, I will be forever grateful to the experiences they provide. I truly believe the work they’re doing has the power to change the world.

Off the needle for 4 years on 6/28!!! Methadone maintanence saved my life! It was my 7th time going to a rehab facility. Soboxone never worked for me and I was terrified of the detox process. Methadone doesn't stop you from having withdrawal symptoms when you first start MAT. But it makes the transition so much easier and keeps you maintained it also controls the cravings.
It's not a super fancy top notch place but it's a good program and Western KY Medical executes it well. This place saved my life and I am eternally grateful!! ♡♡♡

Some will say this is "legal drug pushers" but that couldn't be farther from the truth. This place saved me. You get a weekly counseling session as well as other support. Insurance is taken here and you don't have to worry about looking for illegal stuff or missing work and family because of your addiction. This place works

The staff at JP-Franklin are second to none. From intake, to the billing department (Chance), to my group therapy sessions (and my therapist, Tim...awesome dude), and my coach (Jackie) I was shown love, care, and support by everyone with whom I came in contact, staff and fellow patients alike. They provided me with a judgement-free environment where I was able to be honest and vulnerable to get the most out of my recovery. Called Journey pure at my lowest point in life and from the first day I called they helped me put myself back together, from therapy to medication to help myself stay sober. The entire staff from the lady answering the call on intake to the doctors and therapists, they all have your best interest in mind and are there to help and MAKE SURE you improve your quality of life with sobriety. Tim Byrum has been the greatest therapist anyone could ask for. I highly recommend him as a Therapist and Journey pure as a facility. I never thought i'd be at 31 days sober but here I am and IM PROUD OF IT!

The group therapist Tim Byrum is hands down the best group therapist this facility has. He goes above and beyond for the people in the group and I truly felt connected with the group and Tim when attending his group. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!!

Great speakers and info! Learning the different perspectives and how the RPs, Directors, IT, and HR, and even finance works together was great. Lovingoood was the high point! My experience with Apex was very positive and helpful. I attended the night class for about 3 months and it helped me maintain my sobriety to this day over a year later. The counselor has been through it as well and has real life, first hand experience that he draws on and provides really brings the guidance down to earth and makes it accessible to everyone. They help people who want help and are ready to do the things needed to improve their lives. Highly recommend the IOP program for anyone who needs a little help breaking the cycle!

So back in the spring I had a mental breakdown from being overworked and still homeless even though I have not been jobless for more than a month in 11 years and my son and I cannot seem to get any sort of help to get housing covered and I wanted to call myself I was taken to possibly the worst hospital I've ever been to in my life it was called teNova I was held there for 5 days in the ER and secured holding area with no medical attention no help whatsoever and completely told that I was a pain in the ass because of my autism making it so that I was difficult to get placed also because the only place I could go was the Middle Tennessee so a bed opened up and I was transferred I was there for 4 days the entire time I tried to explain to them I am not bipolar I'm autistic and a mental health breakdown they flat out refuse to believe me I asked if they would like my DSM-5 diagnosis I was told that because my diagnosis is from another state they don't believe that I have autism. I was not given food that I can eat I tried to explain to them why with my food issues I could not eat them I gave them a list of things that I could eat such as chicken white bread and potatoes every meal I was there I received a piece of cold undercooked chicken that looked as though it had been digested before plated and some kind of potato that I don't even think instant would look at and say that's a potato. They do not have like therapy there at all it is just a locked you in a room and they stare at you and you're in a room full of other people that are totally having mental crisis themselves and then they give you like a deck of cards it's basically as if they were adult babysitting I think I saw the doctor once or maybe 5 minutes and by this point it's 8 days from my actual attempt I am no longer in a manic State and they're still holding me trying to get me to take drugs that I refuse to pay the one day I did take them I nearly ripped the table off the floor and threw it across the room because they refused to listen when I said that I cannot take ssris they messed with my autism but because they refuse to believe I'm autistic they then when oh no you're bipolar you these meds then when they discharged me the place they discharged me to for outpatient hasn't been able to get me a single appointment we are now like 5 months later I have not had a single therapy appointment all I've had is intakes and zoom calls but no actual therapy

My first time around wasn't great, but the second time was wonderful. My doctor, not sure his name, African-American man was wonderful. State hospital so ofcourse, no money, but nonetheless, you'll eat and have a wonderful stay, so long as you mind your own business. Thank you, doctors for taking care of us. :)
