Did an individual intensive here that was at the same time as a Living Centered workshop, so I did some activities with that group as well as being able to focus on some deep healing work.
I had an incredible time, it was much more powerful than I expected. I did see the benefit of doing one of the group workshops, and hope to attend one in the future! The people at Onsite are truly remarkable, I will be forever grateful to the experiences they provide. I truly believe the work they’re doing has the power to change the world.

You have to be an ACTIVE participant in your friend/family’s care, otherwise, you will get lost in the shuffle. Meaning that you have to make the phone calls, ask to talk to the Dr, nurse and social worker.
Building is old and dirty and they are likely short staffed like everyone else.

Life-changing doesn’t even begin to describe it.
I came to Solutions Retreat in Nashville broken, hopeless, and convinced I was a lost cause after three big-name rehabs and countless IOPs failed me.
From the moment I walked in the door, it felt different — no giant campus, no lecture halls with 20 guys, just a small house with 6 clients max and the most intense, one-on-one work I’ve ever experienced.
They don’t do the typical “30-day insurance-driven days and kick you out” model. I did deep experiential therapy, Trauma Processing, Anxiety Processing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Depression Processing, and daily immersion in the actual 12 steps — not just reading about them. Their Motivational Interviewing (MI) techniques finally quieted the noise in my head. The owner and main counselor actually live on-site and eat every meal with you. You can’t hide here. They see through the BS in about 10 minutes and lovingly call you on it.
The food is ridiculous (home-cooked Southern meals every day), the house sits on a beautiful piece of land across from a 1,300-acre state park with deer and wild turkey in the grass in front of their facility. Yet they are only 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. They took us to events all over the city.
I’ve been sober over 3 years now. I talk to my counselor from there at least once a month — for free — to this day. My family says they got their son/brother back.
If you’re sick of rehabs that feel like summer camp or a psych ward, and you’re actually ready to do whatever it takes, this place will save your life. It’s not easy, it’s luxurious but not in the fancy-spa way. Most importantly, it works when nothing else has.
If this worked for a difficult case like me, it will work for you.

There are so many special things about Solutions Retreat that I could expound on. But the highlights are the things that saved my life. At Solutions Retreat I had the opportunity to settle into a comfortable residential setting and allow the world outside to keep moving and could allow myself to slow down. To process the consequences, and to find the desire to change. Once I began to feel more like myself, I learned more about myself and addiction through study of the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book. I began to absorb the information through deep and honest communication with other people like me, some of those people even having years and years of sobriety. Also during my stay, I got to build the foundation for my recovery community. We attended local meetings daily and got accustomed to making it to a meeting daily in early sobriety. I have been to other treatment centers before. Solutions is a step ahead because it is a company that only exists to serve the community and help the next addict and alcoholic. I was 17 when I came here in 2020. It’s difficult to do any program but staying and surrendering saved my life. God changed me as I walked in one person and left a new person! The staff were awesome and super patient. It's really clean, and good food. They took us to YMCA to let us workout, a huge mall every other week, and fun random activities like rock climbing or have spa day at the house. They really care and it's all free with legit counselors, food and housing. You don't even have to spend ur $100 a month they require its for you if you legit want spending $ at mall or special shampoos (they have free shampoo if u need). Sweet place. Not to mention we went to winterjam huge christian festival in Nashville seeing hillsong, and a buncha random christian artists all free! biggest stadium ever. and Sadie robertson was gonna meet us in person (it was covid tho at time sadly). You get to road trip to a giant women's conference in Missouri to and see Joyce meyer, Priscilla shier, etc. All free! They just make it really nice here. I wish I could go back sometimes lol.
Main thing to change me was reading my Bible a lottt. Dig into ur word!!! They taught us girls that remain in freedom continuing after program stay in these 4 things: your word, prayer and church and fellowship. I’d have gone back to my old life if spending time with Jesus wasn’t a lifestyle. Scriptures I read in Bible while in here still pop up in my head at perfect times i need them and really set my life up for success.

I have been coming to the Bowling Green, KY office since before they were taken over by AppleGate. The core group of people has been the same since I started attending, 6 years ago. They are all great! I cannot express just how nice it is to have this group of people in my corner. They are an important piece of my recovery, allowing me to lead a normal, fulfilling life. Myself and my family are forever grateful that we found such a great group of people to walk through my recovery with. If you are in active addiction and feel like there’s no way out, that no one understands, that nothing can/will ever change, I beg you, please seek out the AppleGate Recovery office in Bowling Green, KY. It may “literally” save your life.

This would probably be my go to place any time I'm suicidal again. Its amazing. You see a doctor daily and the environment is amazing. You can watch tv,or play board games or cards all day. You can literally sit on a phone call with someone all day,as long as you want. You can be in your room too all you want and relax,sleep more of you want. Food is amazing,and they make sure you're full. I went when there wasn't alot of people so they were constantly giving us seconds. Staff is sweet and chill. You can color or draw all day if you want. Sadly the showers were like luke warm or cold. But you can shower any time and as many times as you like. It felt like home. You can even wear your own clothes there and make sure to bring an abundance of clothing to wear and be washed daily. You can see a psychiatrist and doctor and all daily and i felt like they really listened and cared how i felt and helped me pave a way to success. And if i needed a med to try out it was easy to get approved for,such as an inhaler for my asthma or something to help me sleep better. Just tell them and they will try it out for you that night or the next. They also have coffee,which may appeal to others but not me,i dislike coffee. You do have to be in your rooms by ten pm i believe,but you don't have to be asleep,just in your room.

The environment and the staff were great during my stay. I will say that the communication could be a bit better because I didn’t know I was discharging until the last minute but other than that I have no complaints.

I went to Genesis for a medical detox to come off of the very legal substance of 7-OH. This review is meant for two things: The OUTSTANDING staff at Genesis and spreading the word of the dangers of this “gas station heroin” Firstly, the staff over at Genesis really pulls that place together. I cannot tell you how wonderful they made what should have been an uncomfortable experience. They are so incredibly caring and supportive. I wish I was better with names but a few people really stood out to me. One was a tech named Kassie. She has such a beautiful spirit. Next was my nurse the first couple nights he was the tall blonde guy and he welcomed me and was so very sweet. Next but certainly not least was the doctor he was an Asian guy and my goodness his energy was so caring and gentle. Now to my warning ⚠️ 7-hydroxy or 7-OH says it’s Kratom and while it is derived from the Kratom plant it IS NOT KRATOM. It is completely synthetic. This stuff is 13x stronger than morphine. The withdrawals are just as bad. It takes a hold of you and won’t let go. STAY AWAY FROM IT. Thank you Genesis for helping my start my brand new journey.
