The new building is in need of handicap access to the front door, it also needs automatic door opens for emergency exits and also the clinic opening doors. It was nice of them to call me and let me know if I needed help to the front of the building, because I do not walk. It was also nice of them to contact me twice just to make sure that I was going to my appointment. The two ladies at the front desk were very helpful, also there is a nurse in the back named Lisa. Lisa worked hand in hand with Dr Tanner and I was treated with respect and understanding. The clinic is a good place to go, if you're in need of medical Care.

I want to share that my husband has been struggling with alcohol and came to see Sophia, he still has struggles but she has gone above and beyond to be there every way that she can. I use primary care and mental health here. My case worker was amazing. I was scheduled right away. I have Sabrina, Thomas and Barry and they have listened to all my concerns and have addressed them! I had cvs issues and they called and took care of it same day!!!! I missed an appointment sick and they called to check on me asked if I needed anything!!!!!! I’m definitely gonna keep coming here!!! Front desk is very kind as well! I believe it’s Alex that takes the blood pressure and takes you to room, she makes me feel like were family hahaha great person!!!! Thank you all for such great care and listening and addressing health issues that no other place would listen too!!!!

This place has really helped me! I had problems with my insurance and my medication and they went the extra mile to help me with everything in order for me to get my medication. I just enrolled back in the drug and alcohol counseling with Horizon. My former counselor Yolanda Ibarra, who I had for three years was fantastic and now with the my new counselor that I just saw today on June 30, Rashida I feel a good rapport and very comfortable telling my story. The receptionist also today and I forgot her name was very friendly and personable. During my time at LaFrontera I have made quite a lot of progress. While the whole team has played a part in my healing, I would like to take a moment and recognize the efforts put forth by Annette Bouw. She has been my therapist and leads two groups which have been very beneficial to me, Creative Expressions and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
I appreciate how Annette has been able to explain quite succinctly how various psychological and physiological factors affect my mental health. This understanding has helped me more than I can properly express. As a therapist she can be quite intuitive and insightful. While there have been moments when her methods have clashed with my sensibilities, these moments have also exposed areas to focus on in subsequent sessions. Part of my self imposed therapy, even before I stepped through LaFrontera’s doors, was to learn German via Duolingo. Though Annette does not speak that language, she does speak many, and has been able discuss the road to fluency with me. Whether or not this is part of her job description, it has helped me.
Creative Expressions was one of the first groups I joined. I cannot overstate how much this group has helped me. I have aspirations of becoming an author and Creative Expressions has helped to stir up my creativity.
Admittedly, I was reluctant to join DBT as I had often heard people comment that I already had great DBT skills. I am glad I joined, though. Even though I had a lot of the skills the group teaches, they are greatly improved now. I have made some friends there who have helped me on my journey, and I believe I have helped them on their journey also.
Participating in two of Annette’s groups has also had a synergizing affect on my treatment. Being in group with her often reveals talking points to her or I which we can then jump right into during therapy. When originally scheduled with her, Roseanna told me she was one of the best therapists here, and I agree, that praise is well deserved. My experience with the rest of the team is praise worthy as well.

My son is 18 and struggling with a fentanyl addiction. To say the very least it’s been hard and traumatic. My son went to the crossroads detox facility. The 12 step program works miracles and the people that work within the facility have first-hand experience often times with their own addiction recovery. Rose and Bridgette were incredibly impressionable on my son and worked very hard to influence him positively. If I could afford to open a dozen more of these places I would. God bless these people and those struggling with addiction.

Our loved one is currently in treatment at Fountain Hills Recovery. I'm amazed at how much of a difference our loved one has improved while being in their care. Instead of being catered to like other facilities, you have to depend on yourself rather than others, ie; cooking for yourself, cleaning, laundry, etc. They also keep you busy through the day/week and have outings for the group. Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running.
And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you.

The River Source took me in when I was close to being too far gone. It's not a vacation, and don't expect one. However, the Staff did an extensive evaluation on my individual needs in terms of dietary, medical, and mental health; and ultimately everything I required to be healthy and sober. The Staff inspires you to live again instead of existing, or not existing. After a detoxification period of 7 days from the last time you used, you will move to the Residential side where you will really learn the affects of drugs in your life and all those in it by utilizing a 12-Step holistic program curriculum. You will build strong bonds with fellow clients and realize you are not alone. And no matter how bad you think your life is going, there is someone sitting next to you in a similar, if not worse, situation. You will have the opportunity to exercise and learn meditation techniques to elevate the healing in your body. You will be amazed at your transformation if, and only if, you put in the work. The Staff provides you with the tools you need to become a sober addict. And once you are there, give yourself the break you deserve and be proud of your progress. I just passed 90 days sober. I drank over 30 years and after multiple spinal surgeries, I was prescribed opiates. Slowly, gradually, and piece by piece, my life fell to shambles over 15 years Yet, I was holding onto a runaway train. I originally signed up for 30 days and I eventually extended treatment. Everything about my time here was great in my darkest of days my fellow brother and staff helped me push through it. Groups inside/outside meetings were great especially the outside meetings. Trips were very nice as well. Vitamin I.V. bags were very helpful part of my recovery. Massage, Yoga, Exercise Time were a huge part of my recovery. Food was always nutritious but it would have been nice if they could have thrown some chicken & waffles every now and then. I was very greatful to have been here for my recovery

With this facility transitioning to a hybrid sober living platform requiring the daily programming with the way it has been taught has been life changing to say the least, the opportunity my wife and I have been given to join this program I must say not only my life individually has been saved my marriage has been as well and that has not been a focus in fact my marriage saved is a most pleasant by product of my own and my wife's sobriety as individuals, while my wife and I are working this program as individuals our bond has grew in strength along with the connection we have which is growing daily, this in depth 12 step based program has taught me how to live differently in sobriety. With learning how to live differently in sobriety the freedom to come and go as we please along with the ability to work has been excellent to allow us to experience the outside world while still in a safe environment, with this being my first and only treatment that I've ever gone through it be extremely difficult to imagine any other program having the impact Soul Surgery has had on me if I was given a choice how I want to attain sobriety I would chose this place, I am forever thankful and greatful for having the opportunity for sobriety and learning how to use the tools from who I have learned them from.

This place is simply amazing. The staff was caring, kind and knowledgable. They got me in quickly and helped me all the way through from detox through inlatient and even php and iop, at the same place. The docs and nurses took their time with me and the techs could relate so easily, even when i was not able to sleep. They are a godsend.

PPR played a vital role in my recovery. I was at my rock bottom and would not have survived much longer had I not walked through those doors.. once I did the welcoming and relatable staff shared their stories of their own recoveries. This was my first rehab experience. I don't have anything to compare it to, but from day one, the staff went out of there way to see that my needs were met.
