I was just bragging about Lakeview and pointing a friend in this direction, and i was shocked to see even one negative review. Lakeview was amazing, it saved my life. It felt like a vacation, Its practically a health resort. It was so peaceful and serene. I felt I was cared about when cared for, I felt like they were actually invested in my recovery rather than feeling like a number. From the nurses to the blue-shirts, the therapists, the kitchen staff... everyone was so nice and supportive. The food was amazing, honestly. The pool was nice, gym was immaculate. Yoga instructors were awesome. We went for surfing lessons, went out to a horse farm to pet and feed some little horses. You have a massage therapist come in, and someone to come in for haircuts. Theres even a little zen meditation room. The lake on the men's side is full of life, little ducks and geese, big bass and turtles you can feed - although I don't think you're supposed to, anyways. The facility is nice, its got a real pretty view, good food, great staff. I cant imagine how they could go wrong. If I had to complain, the apartments, the PHP after the inpatient - the last period before you graduate... the apartments kind of sucked, but the comradery, the fellowship there.. it was a great place to transition back into the real world. And the girl at the window that took the cigarette and vape orders seemed like she was always having a bad day... but still. This place is amazing. I love Lakeview. I brag about my experience there. I highly recommend it.

I was a patient at Lakeview from October 20, 2002, to November 19, 2002. I was there during Lakeview's infancy, when there was only one building, a couple of picnic tables, a basketball hoop and a beat up volleyball net. I can tell you, with great conviction, their program works. Lakeview gave me the tools I needed to learn how to live a sober life. I still use those tools today, and I have been sober for just over 23 years now. I wish I could come down there and speak to the people currently residing there and tell them it's possible to turn theirs lives around. I am living proof of that, Thank you, Lakeview.

I didn’t always agree with how everything was run, but overall the program was truly worthwhile and helped me tremendously. The therapists were exceptional, and I credit them—along with other staff members—for my engagement and my desire to fully commit to and benefit from my time there. The programming was a major strength, especially the medical sessions led by doctors and nurses, as well as the psychotherapy sessions led by trained therapists. These were pivotal to my success. They also offer nightly 12‑step meetings, typically hosted by outside groups such as AA and NA, which added meaningful support. The living arrangements exceeded my expectations. The dorm room was comfortable (the beds were genuinely great), the food was very good with a wide variety of options every day, and there was a healthy balance of structured programming and downtime for reading, homework, movies, and rest. One thing that particularly impressed me was their weekly Town Hall, where patients can openly raise concerns, complaints, suggestions, and compliments directly with leadership, including the CEO, Clinical Director, Nursing, Maintenance, and BHTs. While the facility is clearly short‑staffed, I never once felt unsafe or discouraged from voicing my concerns. Some of the rules could be frustrating, but they are clearly in place for patient safety. I am 44 days sober today. When I arrived, I was angry at the world, ready to leave AMA, and intent on drinking myself to death. I left with a powerful desire to live and to continue doing the next right thing to stay grounded in my recovery. Stepping Stone—especially my individual therapist and the classes—saved my life. I will be forever grateful.

I often joke with my husband, if New Season sold a t-shirt I would wear it. I came here to say the same thing I happily see many other people have said. "This place saved my life!" Not just myself, but my spouse as well. I used to be homeless. I used to be a junkie. I have been so many different things in my life, however, I am no longer either of those. When I came into new season for the very first time I was alone, sweating, shaking, and so so sick. I had missed the intake hours by about 20 mins and I remember feeling so defeated knowing I missed it and would have to go use again to feel better. Tears started streaming my face and the director saw me, introduced himself and personally saw to it that I was able to do my intake and get the medication I needed right away. From then on I met so many wonderful people who have worked under the roof of new seasons Jax, formerly metro Jax for those of us who have been around a while. I can promise you that if you are stuck in that same cycle of out of control addiction and do not know what to do, just give them a call and ask some questions. Work this program the way it is intended and you can get your life back. Going to new season was the best choice I ever made. I am in a place I thought not possible. Thank you New Season. I would also like to put on here, just for the feedback of new season, the old director Shawn/Sean is a very special person and we all miss him dearly, we wish him the best. Personally, myself, I wish I could thank him with his work regarding grant funding, this has helped so many of us after the cut of the healthcare credits last year. Lindsey Gainey will also be greatly missed and was a gift from the lord, this woman helped me at some of my very lowest points. Special shout out to my current counsoler Beth, who is wonderful! I could not ask for a better counsoler and would be devastated if I ever lost her. Ashley Brown, one of the finance officers is always there to answer my questions and ease my mind when it comes to insurance or dosing payment questions, she's amazing. Last but certainly not least, a special thanks to Kenya, who is so hardworking, caring, and pious. They all deserve a huge round of applause and frankly a raise. While I'm at it I will give praise to the nurses in the dosing windows who are the true unsung heroes when I show up 30mins before close to pick up 13 take homes, I am eternally grateful.

I am so grateful for Gateway, and the amazing staff there. From the staff at detox, to residential llrehab, down to the front desk & providers for out-patient, they are all an amazing part of my recovery. I started my journey almost 5 years ago at Gateway detox and if it wasn't for programs like what Gateway offers, I wouldn't be here today to speak about it. I will forever be grateful for what this facility has done for me, and taught me. I credit a lot of my sobriety to Gateway, for teaching me the skills I needed to lead and maintain a healthy, sober, productive lifestyle and how to love myself. One day at a time, sometimes one hour, one minute, one second. If you are struggling with addiction and do not know where to turn, by all means call Gateway. I couldn't provide a better alternative.. Gateway is where it's at. Detox will make sure you're comfortable during detox by using a MAT treatment plan that you and the doctor have discussed in depth and determined the right plan for you. Once you're released they continuously provide you the support you need. Do yourself a favor and call today, what's holding you back ?

Edit: I ended up back for a different reason and I have more now to say and would honestly increase my star rating if I could. I personally am writing this after leaving recently. The professionalism was maintained by the entire staff under the duration of my visit. Which while wasnt where I needed to be fell onto me for a lack of appropriate paperwork. And while I witnessed this staff not crack or break during what I would consider was an extremely stressful couple of days for all of them, (the jobs difficult let’s be honest) not only was everything handled so ever appropriately I would say some staff went above and beyond to ensure all patient needs and concerns were met. If I were ever in a position where myself or a loved one would need to be entrusted under the care of someone seeking help, I would say yes to them. And if I can remember some names I would say Felicia, Alexis, Jada, Richard, Austin, the Clinical Director, Christina, there were too many names so I apologize but from the Past two days please if anyone sees this, they all Deserve any level of recognition from the professionalism under the circumstances they were adapting to around the clock. Even the Physicians professionalism and understanding and urgency. Now I will not be coming back maybe for some outpatient family therapy or whatever “NAMI” is. The place continues to improve yet somehow has a bad rap. Past post: I came here voluntarily because I drank a lot fully triggering some heavy anxiety. Upon coming to and waking up I was in a lovely unit I think 600? With a taper in my system I was seen by a medical doctor and psychiatrist in a timely manner and given some new appropriate medications to help with alcohol cravings and an ssri. I thoroughly did enjoy my stay and the staff was wonderful from day to night shift. All the people were kind to me and the other patients and extremely helpful. There were plenty of activities planned in a timely manner throughout the day and the staff also keeps you informed of who called for you. If necessary I’d recommend this place as for me I won’t be going back and moving forward with a new perspective. Thank you to everyone in my unit 600 stay that helped me and answered my questions.

Edited review done on 1/7/26*...If you have seen my previous reviews, then you know that this place has a history of having super long wait times, really bad Program Directors, and a lack of corporate support. However, If I can report the bad, then I can also report the good. We got a new director and she has been phenomenal, especially when she's compared to some of the prior PDs, and I have no complaints about her. She has stuck with her agenda and it's clear that it involves improving the client's experience on a day to day basis. The holidays were rough but since then they have hired more nurses who started after the first of the year, so the wait times are much shorter (they were over an hour and they're around 10-15 mins, now. The clinic has improved immensely but it still feels like it is overwhelmingly overcrowded for it's size, which makes it nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone when you call. However, I can live with those things a lot better than having to wait an hour every time I go. I would still recommend going to a different clinic, if it's at all possible, but for different reasons than I did in the past. Now, it's just because the clinic still seems overcrowded but pls don't hesitate to come here if you don't have a choice or if the choice is this place or getting high. As always, the nurses at the window are top notch human beings and they're some of the best around. I truly appreciate them and their patience. Good luck and God bless

This place has made a real turnaround, and I can honestly feel the difference. Having Security Officer Smith here means everything to me. He greets us every morning with respect, makes sure we understand the new rules, and creates a sense of safety I didn’t realize I needed. Ever since he started, the parking lot has been calm and problem-free. After being attacked last month, walking in here was scary for me… but knowing he’s there makes me feel protected again. I’m truly grateful for him

I started Sophros Recovery a few months ago and I completed all of my sessions and I really want to say is that it helped me in so many ways and areas that I needed help with that I didn't understand and how to adapt to them if any situation came up that involves breaking my commitment to sobriety. Sophros helped me so much and the team that works there are absolutely incredible. They understand you without judging you and it’s you can speak your mind fully. I feel like I'm not in denial anymore and what was going on through the many years of drinking, they are now left behind me and seriously not trying to go back to the harm I was doing to myself, family and friends. The damages that came with addiction is sometimes out of your control and now I feel like when I can and choose to say no. Finally I can say that I'm in control. It takes a strong person to ask for help so put your pride aside and get healthy and sober no matter the choice of substance that is ruining or taking over your life slowly you can achieve it you just have to want it. It won’t happen overnight but I know it’s possible. Nobody is perfect but you can definitely try and that's all that matters. I have a picture of me and my wife even we got married in my wallet that helped me thru everything she was my rock and never gave up on me. Find something that Is important to you and hold it when ever an urge or a temptation is near. Just a reminder of what you are trying to accomplish. Be safe.

Sometimes when you first walk in there and your first point of contact IS Miss Melissa , you start to feel better already . She has a very nurturing way about her . Makes me feel like I'm with friends . I haven't been coming here too too long, but I'm glad I did. They have already helped me so much ,they have no idea. I'm lucky to have found Ron Cipriano office.

Dr Vijapura and his team have been such an amazing blessing to my life. They are attentive, respond very quickly to any questions or needs I have. He truly has helped me change my life for the better. As a veteran, having someone with va experience and understanding he does is something extremely hard to find. I have been to multiple doctors and none have helped like this team has. I rarely leave reviews ( maybe 2-3 in my life) but if this can help someone like he did with me, 10/10 recommend. Working with this practice will be one of the best things you can do for yourself if you have been struggling to find a provider as I have.

3 of my kids go to their pediatric department. I would give this place 5 stars if it was only based on how warm, welcoming, and wonderful everyone is. All 3 kids see Jen and she is amazing. Miss Erica and Miss Jackie are wonderful case managers. Dr Lepely and his team are very nice. He has ensured my kids have everything they need, even when we have had to make adjustments he knew just what to do. Now for the negatives… The wait time to see the doctor is pretty extreme. They schedule everyone for one like.. 3-4 hour time slot. It’s first come first served and there are always 30+ people waiting. I know not everyone has time to wait like that and it confuses me why they do it. It has been especially hard with 2 adhd girls who are being seen for behavioral issues 😓 I am just lucky I have had the time to wait on days like those. Some times we are there for 30 minutes, other times we are there for hours. I tried to get in to see them, myself, and after months of not having a therapist or doctor, I just had to go find a new one(I dropped my providers to see theirs). I did meet with the case manager and we also spoke over the phone a few months later. I mentioned I hadn’t been assigned anyone yet and nothing changed so I moved on. All in all, the care here is positive. With some ironing out of their scheduling and staffing issues I think this facility would be a whole five stars.
