Treatment here is minimal at best. Most of personnel at BHG are overworked/or difficult to see. I had a counselor who resided in Knoxville, Tennessee, who never came into office. She worked other clinics too, some in Virginia and E Tenn. When pressed on subject, she admitted to being on contacts as satellite counselor. Other counselor I had, had extended workload of upward to 80 patients weekly. So many excuses of why he wasn’t trained to have Medicare patients and not putting the proper paperwork in computer, to other problems of not remembering. Very unorganized. The program director did seem to care about the patients and problems there-one of the few to do so. Some nurses were creditable as were a few others. There was more negative issuers than positive at the program. I would rate 2 out of possible of 5 being the best score. Overall the program has many faults as a whole. At best, it does offer detox and MAT programs. Realistically, though, the program is too overloaded with problems and structure, therefore, is lacking considerably. Fingers from one staff, pointed and blamed on others, is frequent. So is confidentiality and no respect for patient rights. Rules seem to be pretty much non existent, and staff oftentimes changes or bend rules in their favor. Other problems too with no direction. And, yes, I may be punished for making truthful remarks. Therefore, I do solemnly state all remarks are truthful to the best of my knowledge and ability. Finally, profit over patient well being/state of mind, simply says to go elsewhere. Thank you.

The nursing staff and bhts are amazing. They make sure your comfortable and they help in every way they can. The facility is clean and well kept. They take your need for sobriety seriously. Most of the employees want your sobriety more then you do. They give tough love but are also compassionate. The food is amazing and I promise you will put on 10 to 20 pounds be4 to you leave. The classes are educational and intriguing. Recreational time is also fun and just for a couple hours you forget your in a rehab.

It’s currently Monday (11/24) at 3:25 AM while I’m writing this review because I cannot believe the experience my son had at this treatment facility. I’ve lost sleep and have experienced additional anxiety and stress because of this. On Friday (11/21) at 2:41 PM, I received a call from my son’s counselor, Bailey, stating that she would have to discharge my son because of his behavior. She informed me that my son had been cooperative with her and other staff members, attended his sessions, and did everything he was supposed to do to receive the treatment he needed. Then she told me that I needed to pick him up because one of the night/weekend staff members, Destiny? (female), had issues with him and “felt uncomfortable.” Apparently, my son was asked to sign a behavior contract—which he signed willingly—because of this ONE staff member. According to my son, this same staff member is his age and allegedly gave him special privileges, such as allowing him to stay on the phone past curfew, stay up as late as he wanted, and take extra smoke breaks. He even made a comment to me saying, “If they only knew,” which made me question whether this ONE staff member followed proper procedures or acted professionally with the residents. This needs to be investigated. Bailey also informed me that this was not an “administrative discharge,” and that they would let him finish treatment as an outpatient. Another major issue I had is that he was discharged on a Friday (11/21) He had been there for 14 days (intake was 11/6) and was on two prescribed medications—one being Zoloft for anxiety. This was his first time taking Zoloft. It has now been almost three days without the medication he was receiving there. He’s been experiencing severe withdrawals, hasn’t eaten, and has been in bed the entire weekend. When we left on Friday, we drove back up to Bradford in Madison around 4 PM to ask about his medication. The receptionist told him it was ready for pickup at our pharmacy. We arrived there—no medication. My son then called to speak with one of the nurses at 4:20 PM and put her on speaker. When he asked if they had called in the medicine, she rudely responded, “I spoke with the practitioner, and we don’t have an answer for you.” The next day (Saturday, 11/22), I called around 3 PM and spoke with a very kind gentleman who finally explained everything. He said that because the discharge was unexpected, it was the weekend, and the medication needed to be signed by a doctor, it would be a challenge to get it sent over. I asked if I needed to be worried about withdrawals or side effects, and he transferred me to a nurse (I believe the same one who spoke rudely to my son the day before). She was nice to me and said she would try to get in touch with the doctor to sign off on the medication. I asked if my son would be okay since he was experiencing withdrawals after being on the medication for 14 days. She said he would be fine and that he could just take Tylenol. My son didn’t receive his medication the morning he was discharged because he said he was asleep when they were handed out. So after 14 days, he has now gone without his medication for 3 full days. I checked with the pharmacy later that day and again on Sunday (11/23) at 12 PM—still NOTHING had been called in. I had very high hopes for this place because I have a family member who worked as a therapist there for many years and always spoke highly of the staff and nurses. I am so disappointed that my son was not able to receive the treatment he needed. I’m not even sure if my insurance has been billed yet because I haven’t received anything. Communication was also a major issue. My son was admitted on Thursday, 11/6, and I didn’t receive a call until Monday, 11/10. When I missed the call and tried to call back, there was no answer. I even had to drive up there just to get information. Overall, this experience has been extremely stressful, disappointing, and unprofessional. Families trust treatment facilities with their loved ones, and this situation has completely broken that.

This place is pretty awesome as far as rehabilitation facilities go. MAT Program handled through free grants. Somewhat supervised by staff. The administration is what you'd expect from the field. They're human; most of them genuinely interested in seeing clients better themselves in every way. You get what you put in, and a few of them are willing to build lasting relationships that can become the foundation of a new, positive social network should you plan on staying after treatment. They give you more than enough rope to hang yourself with, that's for sure. If you're looking for babysitters, this isn't the place. This is a program designed to quickly and efficiently get you back on your feet. You keep your cell phone and everything. I'd recommend it to anyone except individuals literally rendered unable to care for themselves by addiction. Don't know where I'd be without them. Thank you, Buffalo Valley.

When i first got to Clarksville, they help you with food stamps, you can get walmart groceries delivered. The house i was in was 1 of 3 in a cul de sac. about 15 min from office. Descent 3br 2 ba homes a few yrs old in typ subdivision. Counselors were very helpful and caring. The head lady was having an affair with a peer. The housing next to office are older and thats where they put u when u first get there. There were a few bugs at the 1 hse basement floor not infested. They had descent foam mattresses. All the houses i was in had smart tvs in lr. There were 2 fridges per hse and a dedicated stand up deep freeze. All in all had a very good experience. Still clean to this day 8/8/25. Havnt been to sub dr since oct or nov 24. Still have a few left. I tapered myself down i was on 2 a day in buff vall. Only took 1 or 1. 5. Last dr visit i was down to taking 1/4 or less. Take a small piece every other or 3 sometimes less. I recently lost my mom last month. It was definitely worth the time and effort to get clean so I could care for her the last cpl yrs. I moved to this centsrstone because I was poorly treated at another. It's not that no one wants to answer I was told that corporate wants people to use OAS. This policy was aggressively forced on me in another centerstone location. I goto this location and was recently told that the location is now enforcing this policy and are telling their front desk to do as was discussed to me ehich is to tranfer to OAS. Was told they aren't aloud to help appontment scheduling eity myself. I requested a transfer to make an appointment with my provider at their native locafion and was sent to OAS anyways. Unless you call OAS, This seems to be a policy moving forward. Calling corporate seems to make it worse so ide suggest users going forward give up on the idea of a perfect solution it didn't end well for me last centerstone I was at. I hope this helps. Been going since Oct 29, 2020, and am SO thankful they started taking TennCare. That was my last "excuse" I couldn't pay for both(drugs and the weekly fee), so I promised my family when they started taking my insurance I would go. Now, they do start you on a low dose, but it's for your safety and they move you up decently fast. They have gotten so much better in the 4 years I have been going. The staff now is much more caring than when I first started. Without them, I would probably be dead. I have been able to go on several vacations, do things with my family I wasn't able to do while on drugs, and enrolled in college to obtain my Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding. I send everyone I can there, and the ones that want to change have thanked me for sending them. If you truly want to get clean, they will help you.
