Ok. I'm going to go out on a limb and see if you respond and take action on this. I'll assign a tentative 5 stars rating, with the expectation you'll formulate the correct approach...I wrote a google and yelp last week about this to Safeway at WMC Drive in Westminster; they responded that someone would contact me but they never did. So, I'm upping it a notch and see hat you good folks have to say!!Last week, late at night, I was in Safeway on WMC Drive in Westminster. A customer brought their pet dog (not a service animal) in to the store and the 2 of them strolled from aisle to aisle shopping here and there. I asked the store's on duty boss, Kris, if having a pet dog in the store was appropriate. Kris, in front of 2 of his store coworkers, looked at me like a deer in the headlights, cleared his throat a couple times (I could see the brain neurons moving at warp speed trying to come up with a response), and he uttered "well, I don't know the store policies or regulations on this, but I guess it's ok for them to have their dog in the store. I responded "so, let's assume the dog poops in aisle 3 and raises its leg and sprays the fresh organic lettuce with pee pee in the fresh veggie section, what are you going to do and wouldn't that be totally unacceptable in the store?" Kris shot back with "well, sir, I can assure you I'll clean it up!!" Kris did not instill any confidence in me and I could just imagine the dog barfing up grass next to the open grapes in the fruit section in a manner similar to the way my childhood pet reacted in our backyard many years ago.So, Mr or Ms Health Department, is it okay if I bring my pet parrot into Safeway some night, let him fly all around the store, and watch him deposit numerous droppings everywhere, including on the fresh open-air French bread???? This might be fun, especially if Kris is working!!What say ye?????????????????????????

I originally went to the 30 day program, but transitioned into Safe Harbor (the 6-9 month program for women & kids) it was definitely tough at some points, and there was a lot of rules. But at the end of the day this place taught me accountability & responsibility, how to be a mother again, how live without drugs and stay sober & how to be happy in recovery. I was there in 2022, and I am now 2 years clean. I got my husband back, and all 3 of my kids back. I'm currently going to college to be a cna, and I NEVER thought I would survive addiction let alone make it this far in life. Ignore the negative reviews, the place was strict at times, and back then I HATED the rules. But now I see that they were literally trying to teach and prepare me for life in the real world.

Look like anywhere you get what you put into a place like this. There were a few staff who really stuck out. Like ca dusty and ca q and Lindsay. They were fair and went out of there way to help you. Miss Becky is a good send. She wasn't my counselor but watched her go above and beyond for the ones on her case load and any one else who asked her for held. The head lady Malaya is one tough cookie but is thural and fair. Plus the most professional person I ever met even while dealing with all the strife and chaos.the nurses were great and the food was awesome. But they honestly need more staff . So they can actually do there job to the degree and level they want to and is needed. However the people there , patients made me feel like family and I will miss them all greatly.

I was at Hoffman Homes for about a year and a half. When I arrived at Hoffman Homes, I barely knew myself. I didn't have a family that was good to me, so I didn't know what it felt like to have people care about me and listen to me. Not only did the staff at Hoffman Homes do this, they worked with me through my ups and downs and never judged me when I was at rock bottom. The programs at Hoffman Homes taught me positive ways to deal with stress, anxiety, and communication. They taught me that there is good in this world. The staff at Hoffman Homes put their sweat and tears into making sure us kids were okay. They worked overtime, they dealt with us when we were not ourselves, and they shared wisdom that only people with experience can share. The many many connections I made taught me that I was a person worthy of love, kindness, and respect. They taught me what was healthy and not healthy and without them, I would not be here today. There are connections and life skills I use to this day, almost two years after discharge. I could never thank you all for the dedication you put into us and our treatment. I owe you my life.

I've been to a lot of drug treatment centers in the area, I'm sorry to say. This is the only one where the staff are qualified, helpful and care to such a degree. I started here years ago when I was court ordered, and I stay to help myself now that I am free. You can see the reviews of this place are very polarizing. Either one star or five star. Drug treatment is not a pleasant process. Whether ordered to be here or on your own volition, this is therapy and it means confronting aspects of yourself you don't like. You WILL come to a point where you are angry, disgusted, fed up, etc. You can either quit and go write a one star review, or push through it and be better for it.

Last night my daughter was discharged from this facility. From the moment we arrived until late yesterday afternoon this place and its staff not only met our needs but in many ways exceeded our expectations. We arrived on a Saturday night at approximately 9:30 and there was more staff available then I saw the entire time my daughter was in another inpatient hospital. They are a little more strict than I was expecting. There were items I packed for her similar to what the other hospital allowed that were sent back with me so please keep that in mind if you choose treatment here. Those items included thong flip-flops for the shower, Crocs were okay though with no charms, tank tops and shorts and of course a couple of the books were deemed inappropriate. They also didn't allow for us to bring products from home as the hospital supplies everything. This I did not mind. She was there for 12 days and during that time I was called daily and updated on every step of her treatment plan. My thoughts and opinions were listened to and considered and I never felt the churn and burn of let's get them in and out. Her therapist and nurse practitioner as well as the psychiatrist that worked with us were kind, understanding, and informative. Patients are allowed to call twice a day for about 5 minutes. The times are usually after lunch and after dinner however we could call and leave messages or ask for a check-in but we didn't find that necessary as we were in daily contact. They allow 20 minute visits every other day with an option to Zoom which was extremely helpful considering we live an hour and a half away and there were a couple of days we could not make it up. Our main goal was to sort out medications to get her stabilized. That was done and more. She had homework to do for herself, we learned about intellectualizing emotions which is something I never considered, and there was a clear safety plan and well thought out blueprint for actions that would be helpful when agitation and overwhelming feelings and thoughts occur. Of course I read the reviews before we went and I'm grateful to know that oftentimes it's the not so great reviews that get written as opposed to the positive ones so I really wanted to express my gratitude to Brook Lane and their staff. It was a positive experience all around.

I found it to be the place that worked for me because I was vulnerable and ready to air my clothes. Was here for more then a year with outpatient and counseling. It's all on you and how bad you want to use this to your advantage. I'd recommend this place to anyone that is serious about changing and needing help.

| Outpatient care allows clients to participate in treatment without having to reside in a hospital or treatment facility. Such day treatment programs have the client visit the facility on a regular schedule (typically with multiple visits a week) for group and individual sessions. Outpatient care is the most flexible form of treatment available. | Chambersburg Hospital – Behavioral Health, located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is a private alcohol and drug rehab that offers treatment for a variety of substance abuse addictions including co-occurring mental health disorders. They offer residential care providing long term support for addiction recovery, as well as flexible outpatient addict | Treatments Programs Payment Options | We recently delivered our son at Chambersburg Hospital last month and were so pleased with the experience. I did not want to deliver at this hospital based off reviews I saw and a negative experience in the ER, but due to circumstances out of my control, this is where we ended up.The Labor and Delivery Department was amazing and everyone we encountered was so helpful and caring. They made the stressful experience easier to go through. We went in on a Friday night and didn't leave until Sunday so we did interact with many of the wonderful staff on this floor, but wanted to shout out a few specifically.First impressions matter and the first nurse we dealt with was Katie and she was so kind and understanding of all my concerns. I feel like she helped set the tone for our hospital stay overall and treated every concern and question I had with compassion and respect.Dr. Lackie was the Anesthesiologists and while I did have some issues with the epidural, he was very attentive and gentle, especially once i voiced my fear of getting the shots. He checked on me numerous times after the injection and even came to congratulate us after our baby was born.Marielena was definitely our favorite nurse and we got to have her on both wings of labor and delivery. She was with us before our baby was born and helped me with breathing exercises, getting comfortable, she even held my hand while I was getting injections because she knew how anxious I was. She checked on us constantly and made sure everything in the room was good. After the baby was born, we had her again in the post partum section of L&D a day later and we were so happy to see a familiar face. She was so happy for us and careful while helping both myself and our new baby. She constantly was checking on us and bringing me ice water, and my fianc blankets and drinks. Any concern I had, she would address right away and if she didn't know the answer, she would find out for us.Dr. Oreste came in to check over our baby a few times to confirm everything looked good. Every question we had, he had an answer for right away, as well as a story or an example to help us understand what he was trying to get across to us. He was very gentle as well which was appreciated because some videos, doctors don't seem to be super careful while checking over newborns.Alexus came and showed us how to give the baby a bath and chatted with us a while. She was very patient with both the baby and us nervous parents taking in everything. When we left, she actually helped take us to the car and hugged us goodbye. It really felt like we were leaving family vs leaving a hospital.

I had plenty of reasons to go to the ER within the last year. I believe if I go in with a level head my experiences get better. It also could be i have spent so much time there i got employees schedule down and know who to ask for help in the different situations. we all go there for answers, first or last choice in my situations. But I look back at everything the ER deals with and at the end of it all they are human too. I have to say the rooms are cleaner. I use to get sick having to sit there next to blood from the previous patient there on the floor. I have watched them disinfect properly after the use of equipment. this was the first time I have seen that. they talked with us for a solution instead of down to us. I have experienced rare medical situations and the last thing you want to happen is you feeling guilty or stupid for going in the first place. we didn't get all the answers we wanted but we are moving closer to a solutions. I dont expect ER to handle ever problem. it took a process to get into the ER in the first place. I personally leave the miracle work to God.For the people I care about and love I always make sure I do my part. Good job chambersburg hospital ER. I don't believe you hear it enough.
