I came to the ranch after hitting rock bottom in my addiction. I am so thankful I was led to the ranch. I didn't know what to expect walking in the doors, but I was met with open arms. The BHT was kind along with the other men in the house. I lived a life of chaos and deception before entering the ranch. After my 30 days of intensive therapy, it gave me the skills, structure, and knowledge to start working toward a new life one day at a time. The therapists, counselors, psychiatrists, and leadership were most helpful in assisting me in my new found recovery. I have read previous reviews, and quite frankly disagree with most of them. I was in a position where I needed hard truth. I ran from truths throughout my entire addiction and did whatever I wanted to do while creating incredible trauma to those around me. I did not need a "kumbaya" rehab facility. I am most thankful to the people who were courageous and bold enough to speak hard truths into my life and spark change in me!

The Ranch absolutely changed my life. It gave me a space to heal, grow, and perspective on how to turn away from my addictive behaviors and start living a healthy life.***Disclaimer: no addiction treatment center is perfect, and The Ranch is far from it. Great speakers and info! Learning the different perspectives and how the RPs, Directors, IT, and HR, and even finance works together was great. Lovingoood was the high point! Relatable, applicable, informative, and helpful! The time allowed to be together outside of meeting was invaluable, too. Great balance! Location was fantastic!

One of the best recovery programs I been in. I have Been in and out of rehabs never really finishing the programs in the past, however when I came to apex It became the exception. I not only completed the program and graduated, I have met some of the most compassionate, highly qualified mentors and therapists. The community and fellowship there is one the best people I came across. You can tell they love what they’re doing and passionate about the work they’re doing. I went to the men's facility (Main) and my girlfriend went through the women's facility (West). We both had great experiences and the counselors worked with us individually and as a couple. We are both clean (over 6 months) and appreciate the staff at both centers for all they did.

Went to Howenwald campus approx 12-27-22. wanted to stay on med assist so the sent me Clarksville campus. I had a peer that also came from howenwald was like 2 wks ahead of me. After 30 days i think you can work, have your vehicle, you keep your own meds 3days worth then4 days for a wk. They do count daily. When i first got to Clarksville, they help you with food stamps, you can get walmart groceries delivered. The house i was in was 1 of 3 in a cul de sac. about 15 min from office. Descent 3br 2 ba homes a few yrs old in typ subdivision. Counselors were very helpful and caring. The head lady was having an affair with a peer. The housing next to office are older and thats where they put u when u first get there. There were a few bugs at the 1 hse basement floor not infested. They had descent foam mattresses. All the houses i was in had smart tvs in lr. There were 2 fridges per hse and a dedicated stand up deep freeze. All in all had a very good experience. Still clean to this day 8/8/25. Havnt been to sub dr since oct or nov 24. Still have a few left. I tapered myself down i was on 2 a day in buff vall. Only took 1 or 1.
5. Last dr visit i was down to taking 1/4 or less. Take a small piece every other or 3 sometimes less. I recently lost my mom last month. It was definitely worth the time and effort to get clean so I could care for her the last cpl yrs. I give Buffalo Valley 2 middle fingers up. Probably owe them my life. And Thank You Brent Andrew Morgan, for the ride and helping me get in and even helping with clothes, underwears, and toiletries. I love you brother!!! Stay strong you will get to come home soon.

Probably the most important experience I'll ever have in my life because at Cumberland Heights they were able to teach me enough and convince me that my problem was real and addiction is a disease of the mind. This is the longest I've been completely sober since I started using 20 years ago and its all thanks to the in depth explanation of everything I learned at Cumberland Heights. I'm very grateful with this center of recovery, the counselors are the gentlest people I have ever met, they helped me a lot in the recovery process, they gave me practical advice to change my lifestyle. The environment that is lived in this place is unique, they care personally for each patient, individual therapy is adapted to my needs. I highly recommend it for anyone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol.

I loved this place, although at first i was scared for being with complete strangers but we rapidly bonded together and realized we are all connected in our search for recovery. The therapies were super good and i truly disconnected so that i could had time to heal myself and defeat the addiction. Such a great place.

Recently my sister attended a 16 day Onsite Workshop for trauma. She recently lost her adult son, my nephew to suicide. It is difficult to put into words the profound positive effect Onsite has had on my sister. Pryor to going to onsite she was going to therapy and was active in a parent suicide support group. She continued to struggle daily. When I saw my sister after she attended the workshop, "it was as though I was seeing my 12 year old sister for the first time in 40 years".
The care and concern the team showed for me and my sister made a marked impact on our experience.

The counselors and the rest of the staff are amazing, the facilities are nice, the rooms are very comfortable and the food very delicious. I would recommend this place to all the people who suffer and need treatment. Definitely this experience changed my life, I am a new person with a lot of desire to live and enjoy life but free of drugs and alcohol.

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.

After 7 years in recovery, I relapsed for the first time and found myself in my first treatment center, The Next Door. I have mental health issues coupled with addiction. I have to say that I was and am still completely impressed with the program, the amount of care, and the amazing women who make up what is The Next Door. They not only address the most pressing issue, which is substance abuse, they also take into account the mental health issues and how they are inextricably linked, not to mention, help to mitigate the sometimes serious physical side effects brought about by the co-occuring disorders. I have trouble finding words to express just how life saving, life affirming, and incredibly life changing it was to be a patient at TND. They continue to support me in my journey and teach me how to live life learning to become the best version of myself as long as I want it and am willing to do the work with open-mindedness and honesty. The Next Door gives new life!

I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

I took a loved one here for detox, and an extended stay. The staff (while following all legal procedures) treated my family member with respect and empathy. The staff treat them like people, NOT like patients. They’re accommodating and helpful. The facility is safe, comfortable, well maintained, and equipped to be a hospital without the irredentist lights and straight jackets.

Called Journey pure at my lowest point in life and from the first day I called they helped me put myself back together, from therapy to medication to help myself stay sober. The entire staff from the lady answering the call on intake to the doctors and therapists, they all have your best interest in mind and are there to help and MAKE SURE you improve your quality of life with sobriety. Tim Byrum has been the greatest therapist anyone could ask for. I highly recommend him as a Therapist and Journey pure as a facility. I never thought i'd be at 31 days sober but here I am and IM PROUD OF IT!

The group therapist Tim Byrum is hands down the best group therapist this facility has. He goes above and beyond for the people in the group and I truly felt connected with the group and Tim when attending his group. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!!
