Don’t go here unless you have no other option!!
Counselor told me to stay off my meds and I ended up in a mental hospital… And now they won’t let me see my psychiatrist until I see her again. My meds are making me sick and I have to wait to get an appointment with the doctor.
They also told me I had to see the counselor and tell her I didn’t want to see her anymore… WHAT A JOKE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Crossroads is a great place to go for Treatment of addiction. The staff are very organized, compassionate, and professional. They really listen and they treat you as an individual instead of lumping you into a group of addicts.
Every case is different. There are some who come, take medication to help with withdrawals and are then winged off within a matter of months.
Some, come because they were given a lot of pain meds to treat pain. So, they still have the pain, so they may stay on a Medication for a longer period.
Every person has a Treatment Plan, is Drug Tested, have Random Bottle Checks, see a Dr, and have their own Counselor.
I recommend Crossroads because there are a lot of places popping up, but Crossroads has been here for years and years.

I called on the behalf of my husband to make an appointment. However they threw him off on volunteer behavorial health. For the past two days he got threaten with an ambulance and then yesterday the cops took him to River Park. My husband needs meds not a mental ward stay for his severe depression that comes with his suicidal thoughts. I have never in my life ever seen someone treat him like a criminal until now. Yet he can not make no contact with me. To take our cell phone away from him and now am I supposed to know how he is doing? Answer me that please. We have been to this place three years ago and we never got treated like this until yesterday.

Mallory in intake is a horrific representative to have for a psychiatric facility. She is uniformed, dismissive, and otherwise very difficult to talk to for those experiencing a crisis. She discounts professional opinions, and believes that catatonia only exists in its late stages. My friend was told “well you’re speaking now so obviously it isn’t a problem.” despite the urgency their provider who has extensive experience treating psychosis has inflected to them. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. This could endanger someone’s life.

I could never sing enough praises for this hospital. Every staff member was kind, compassionate, helpful, and gentle. Debbie, Ron, Bonnie, Meggan, Sheila, James, Corinne, the night MH Tech (sorry I didn't ask your name), and anyone else on unit 100 thank you so much for creating such a safe and comfortable environment. You really went above and beyond the call to service. To the two art and music therapists, thank you both, wonderful work. Thoroughly enjoyed your sessions. Elaine, Andrea truly above and beyond work you did couldn't ask for better social workers. You made my transition in and out of the hospital so easy. Greg and Jake at intake you immediately eliminated any fears I had. Greg was honestly the light of the whole experience. Incredible. I could not be where I'm at on my healing journey without each and every one or you.
The doctors/NP were all very kind and helpful as well but I only saw them for maybe 15 minutes total combined. But Dr. Oliver was fantastic discussing my treatment options and getting me settled into meds.

I've been seeing Karen Brazzle for approx 3 years now. I have nothing but good things to say. I don't know how to explain her in a few words, so I'll do my best. Kind, caring, knowledge, passionate, and will take the time needed. Im not the type to visit a place like this, much less stay. But I'm over 3 years. The staff is nice and hospitable, as much as they can be. Scheduling has never been an issue. I use the in house pharmacy Genoa. I've decided to come off most, but they were always ready for pick up and we're offered to be shipped. I can't promise you'll get assigned Karen, and I have t encountered any other practicioners. They do exclusively telehealth, so if that's a problem for you. I believe their counseling is done in house, and can't comment on those staff. If you're struggling and need help, the low rating that is shown hasn't at all been my experience. Hope this finds you well.

Visits went well. Good clean office and outside areas clean Bathrooms clean. Friendly staff. The only thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star is telehealth. There is nothing like having a human actually talking to you instead of a computer screen. My little one has downs syndrome and can not understand why we have to talk to a tv. 3-2023 Visits are going better, getting used to her Dr. not being in person. Opening up more. Starting to talk to her more and answer more questions instead of me having to do all the talking.

I'm gladly to say that I have had the most and well care with Cheer Mental Health Center. They were there when I needed them. Staff members were awesome, took the time to listen and understand my situation. Dr. M. Slatton, Dr. L. Atkinson, and case manager Grace Reynolds were my doctors, friends, and most of all my rock. My therapist Dr. Slatton was there to help me with my problems and mental health. Always gave the right advice. Dr. Atkinson made sure that my meds were right for me. And case manager Grace Reynolds has made sure that I had everything I needed to get and always asked if there was anything that she can help me with even if it was food transportation. Always had her heart to help me in any of my needs. Overall, my five years experience at this facility which includes staffs and personnel, it was excellent. I would recommend anyone that needs help to them with my eyes closed. Keep up the great work.

Been a patient at this location for many years for my Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, OCD. I generally like this place and they are like a second family to me. I do recommend that they NEED to have more than one medication management dr to choose from at this location. Our family visited Rockpoint off and on for about three years, primarily coming to the amazing worship nights hosted. About 3 months ago we decided to pop by and caught the middle of the “David” study and haven’t left since. The way The Holy Spirit fills this space, the faces of those in leadership carry such authentic and humble nature, and the programs for our children with staff who know their names already & reach out to check on them is so inspiring. We have been at the same church for over a decade but it was outside of our direct community and while we always will call that place of worship home we are so overfilled with joy to be in our direct community partnering with our neighbors in worship and service. I’ve went to therapy here for years on and off. They are not equipped to deal with severe mental health. I don’t get anything out of it and it’s upsetting. I need DBT therapy and when I asked about it they didn’t even know what it was. ( dbt therapy is therapy for people with severe mental illnesses like bpd) and they go through therapist a lot. I wish we had more options because this place is a mess honestly. I feel hopeless

My experience at Journey Pure was literally lifesaving! I thought I could do it alone in my apt because I was ashamed of what I had become, me the one who wasn’t supposed to be in this place. Journey Pure called to check on me, so I told them the truth and a little over 24hrs later I was there! 2hrs after checking in I was taken by ambulance to ER and was in ICU for 6days. Had I stayed home and tried doing it alone, I’d be dead now. I had been dealing with addiction since I first got sick back in 2012, but really if I’m honest drugs and alcohol has been a heavy chain around the neck of my entire family weighing us down for generations and I’d been dealing with it my whole life in one way or the other. We all had. So I tried to avoid drugs like the plaque, then I got sick and the Dr.s began giving me meds so I believed that I wasn’t addicted because I have a legitimate reason, the doctors wouldn’t lie to me. Oh how wrong I was. I always thought that it was all up to me, that I had to break the chain so the others could follow, but again I was wrong so very wrong. I did my IOP at Foundations Nashville after leaving Black Bear Lodge. The transition was seamless. Even though we did IOP through ZOOM it was a GREAT experience. I had wonderful therapists: Lauren, Lyndee, and Dr. Dan! They offer lots of resources and the community and connection in the room and between the group members worked well despite the fact we were online.
I highly recommend Foundations Nashville. I have dual diagnosis of addictions and depression and I came out of IOP much better than I came in and with the tools I need to continue my life long journey of recovery and discovery.

Desiree, Amy, Amber, & Linda are phenomenal. Amy and Desiree give the BEST advice. Amber is so supportive and sweet, and Linda is all the tough love u need. These women are the absolute best and made my experience so much better than I could've ever imagined. I AMA on the 24th of Dec. Pasadena Villa changed my life and outlook for myself and getting well. The staff was fantastic and all therapists and clinical staff, and many others truly cared about me and my progress of recovery.
Various types of group and individual therapy spearheaded this, along with music and art therapy. The other fellow clients were a great support system for me as well which I still keep up with to this day. It is a scary process to begin, but absolutely worth it. Pasadena Villa/Smoky Mountain Lodge truly cares about their charge of helping people in need, whether it be mental illness, substance abuse, or both.
I learned that I can accomplished my goals while at the Lodge. I finally begin to believe in myself again, as well as restored faith with my God, faith in humanity, and faith that I can get well. Anyone can if they commit to it. All people in need owe this wonderful renewal of life to themselves, and that process was started at Pasadena Villa.
