My son went through the men’s HC program 2 separate times in Waverly (which is located near McEwen). The 1st time he completed the program, but relapsed later and had to go through the program again. The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!! Onsite is one of them. I have attended Onsite twice first for the Life After Loss program and later for an Individual Intensive. Both experiences exceeded anything I could have imagined. I went there hoping to find a little relief from the weight of a loss that is impossible to put into words. What I found was a place where every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The guides are extraordinary and deeply skilled at helping people face the hardest parts of their lives. There is a level of care, presence, and intention woven into everything they do. The setting is peaceful and grounding, and the staff supports you in ways both big and small. What surprised me most was how my body responded while I was there. The food was incredible, and for the first time in a long time I found myself eating well and sleeping. Another gift was the connection I found with the other participants. People come to Onsite for many different reasons, yet there is something about the environment that allows genuine connection to happen. I met several people with whom I formed meaningful relationships, and we remain in contact today. The sense of community, understanding, and shared humanity was something I will always cherish. While nothing can change the reality of losing my son, Onsite gave me a place to pause, reflect, and be supported while carrying one of life's heaviest burdens. For that, I will always be grateful. In a world that constantly asks us to keep going, Onsite reminds us of the value of slowing down and taking care of ourselves. My experience at Brentwood Springs was amazing for the most part. I only had problems with one particular nurse who refused to give me medication that the doctor had already ordered, causing me to be in withdrawal for three days from a medication that I had no plans on stopping. Apparently, she had her own personal reasons for not wanting to give me my medication. She felt like I shouldn’t be taking it to begin with??? Once a more experienced nurse came in, though she took care of it and fixed the problem. The entire staff is kind and caring. The medication’s are very customized to each individual. When I felt like I was getting sick they extended my taper to make sure that I was not uncomfortable. The meals are catered or homemade. The kitchen pantry is stocked as well as the refrigerator and freezer. There are plenty of drinks and snacks including juice and fruit. I was able to reach out to my family on a regular basis and was given great advice about aftercare. I would recommend them to anyone seeking help in recovery. Daye 4 months ago I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!! I usually get in and out fairly quickly. The nurses are friendly and very professional. There is a on sight lab here for me to get my lab work requirements done. I normally go to see my Veterans Affairs Doctor every 6 months. The parking area is efficient and I normally don't have any problems finding a place to park my vehicle.
