Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..

I was nervous to go here because of the reviews. But once I did, I did NOT regret it. The ladies at the desk were super nice and patient when the need for rescheduling or anything else arose. The counselor I see is awesome and not judgemental which is very important when in this industry and has been hard to find in the medical field in Utah not being an LDS member. Give them a chance. They have more than one counselor if the first doesn't work. I've also got my son into counseling here and I think he will do very well.

I had two of my children seen there for several months. Recovery was not on a slow, we need money basis like I've felt at other clinics. Through the years I've had one of my 10 children go to 6 different clinics for one thing or another while dealing with death, divorce, blending family and other things and our experiences here were top of the centers.

I was in Acqua October 2024 and the staff was amazing. They listened to what the clients had to say. The one thing Acqua offered that not a lot of the other places did is dual diagnosis. Not only do they treat addiction but the helped me get on meds that worked for me. I loved that I didnt get the 12 steps shoved down my throat. I liked my counselors and the staff helped me get everything lined out to go home in another state. I'm been sober for 9 months now.

I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things.
Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients.
They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better.
I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who is struggling!

My daughter spent a year at New Haven and it was an excellent experience for us and for her. If you are considering New Haven, you’re in a tough place and have been through a lot. We were there and made mistakes before finding New Haven. The team was excellent - especially her counselor (shout out to the amazing Amy). The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. Our daughter was at the New Haven stabilization for about a month. She improved so much that she was released about 4 weeks early and she is now enrolled in an RTC in Montana. This program by far is the best Rehab facility in the country. My life was changed after being there for 56 days. The professional staff, attention to detail, intense therapy, and process groups all helped in my transformation on my road in recovery. My LO never had the opportunity to receive treatment here, but I can't say enough good things about Natalia who works at intake. My son was arrested due to his mental illness. In a frustrating system, Natalia was a shining light who worked hard to help my son get treatment instead of prison. She wrote multiple letters to the judge, New Roads came out and did assessments and validated my questions and concerns. If the actual facility listens and cares like she did, I am sure the place would be amazing. It came highly recommended to me from various parents whose loved one's were able to recover, thanks to New Roads. I truly wish my son could have received the help that he needs from a place like this. Post Op care: initial prescriptions called in and ready by the time I left the clinic. Follow up with PA a few days later yielded a new Rx which helped with my needs in a timely manner.
Needs Improvement:
When I was on the last day of my pain meds (one week post-op) I sent a message first thing in the morning via the patient portal requesting a refill and a stronger prescription. I received a text message acknowledging receipt of the request.
The prescription was not refilled. I had to endure the night without pain management.
I followed up the next day via text message asking for help. The initial response was less than helpful. Basically, “you aren’t the only patient we have” and “you can go to the ER” and “we have procedures to follow in house before we can fulfill your request.”
Thankfully, the refill/updated prescription was authorized within an hour of opening and I was able to get back on track.
I wondered to myself if they were really that callous and truly didn’t care that I spent the night pacing the house in pain and unable to sleep. It would have appeared that way based solely on the text messages I received.
The GOOD NEWS:
There is a happy ending to the story. The PA called me soon after the Rx was validated. He took responsibility for dropping the ball and missing the window to fill my Rx in time. He apologized profusely for the pain I was going through.
THIS is the kind of thing I look for in customer service - a willingness to accept responsibility and acknowledge when mistakes are made, rather than hide behind “process” or “procedure” as an excuse.
I am grateful for the PA stepping up and taking responsibility. I am thankful for their attention in resolving my concerns.
People make mistakes, we all do. What matters to me is they actually cared enough to own what happened and call me to apologize. For that, I commend them. Hopefully their internal process improvement methodology will capitalize on this event and not let it go to waste.

As a professional in the industry, I had the opportunity to tour this beautiful facility. The staff was very welcoming and provided me with great details about their program as they showed me around the buildings, explaining what they could offer to the adolescents they work with. I loved the "adopt a cat" program and the equine services that they offer to their students. It was clear that their mission was to provide excellent treatment to their clients, aiming to set them up for success upon leaving.

It was such a pleasant experience. I really enjoyed all of the therapy, education, recreation therapy and meetings that we went through. I thought that staff was exceptional and helpful. Everyone was so eager to pursue the success of this journey that I experienced at Annie's House. I am so grateful! I learned how to love myself in such a way that I haven't since maybe I was a young child. I feel so liberated and free! I have a connection with my higher power and that is all because of you guys!! Steps was the first place I've ever gone to treatment and it was well worth it, so far it's saved my relationship with my wife, my family and myself. The staff is extremely kind and caring and just wants to help however in order for them to do so you have to be 110% open and willing to put in the work yourself.
If your looking into treatment this may help you so you know what your going into and what you can bring.
Blankets and pillows from home.
You can vape and smoke (don't flush vapes down the toilet or you'll lose your privileges for everyone it almost happened).
You can have food and candy (no energy drinks).
Family nights every other week on Tuesdays.
Black out period is 5 days (no phone calls).
Very scheduled, you'll be going from 8am to 8pm every day but it passes time quickly.
Just a few things that made my time easier, so if your looking into becoming a better you, this is the place to start.

When you are serious about recovery come to Deer Hollow. It will not be easy, but it will be worth it. I am a Paramedic that came up in the time of “stuff those emotions down”, I’m here to tell you that does not work. They come back with a vengeance and hopefully you don’t take your own life before you get help. I had the opportunity to attend Juniper Canyon when I was struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, and it was truly a lifechanging experience. This program is unlike any traditional treatment center. It pushed me in ways I had never experienced before, and because of that, I was able to face feelings and emotions that I had always managed to hide in other programs.
Juniper Canyon created a safe and supportive environment where I could begin working through things that had been buried for a long time. Even though I wasn’t able to complete the entire program, the staff made sure I was cared for. They didn’t just let me go or leave me hanging they went above and beyond to transition me safely and lovingly into another program because of some personal things I was going through. They took the time and effort, even over several days, to make sure I got where I needed to be.
I also continue to stay connected by showing up to alumni events, which have given me opportunities I never imagined like canyoneering, rock climbing, skiing, and building lifelong connections with amazing people after treatment.
It was truly the beginning of a lifelong transition and recovery for me, and I am deeply grateful for what I learned and experienced at Juniper Canyon. Juniper Canyon changed my life. I was a client 3 years ago; a girl who felt broken, with no purpose or direction in life, and no will to live. I found myself in the deserts and felt the magic of this program in every fiber of my being. I love being alive and calling myself a child of this land.
