Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..

I was nervous to go here because of the reviews. But once I did, I did NOT regret it. The ladies at the desk were super nice and patient when the need for rescheduling or anything else arose. The counselor I see is awesome and not judgemental which is very important when in this industry and has been hard to find in the medical field in Utah not being an LDS member. Give them a chance. They have more than one counselor if the first doesn't work. I've also got my son into counseling here and I think he will do very well.

I had two of my children seen there for several months. Recovery was not on a slow, we need money basis like I've felt at other clinics. Through the years I've had one of my 10 children go to 6 different clinics for one thing or another while dealing with death, divorce, blending family and other things and our experiences here were top of the centers.

I want to take a moment to highly recommend Chateau for any first responder or veteran who may be struggling and in need of inpatient support. My experience there was truly life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The staff went above and beyond to create an environment that was compassionate, professional, and focused on healing. Every member of the team — from the counselors to the support staff — treated me with respect and understanding. They took the time to listen, to guide me through difficult moments, and to help me find practical tools to manage my challenges. The treatment programs were well-structured and personalized, addressing not just the symptoms but the underlying issues as well. The facility itself was comfortable and welcoming, and the sense of community among residents made a tremendous difference in my recovery. I left feeling stronger, more self-aware, and better equipped to continue my progress. I’m deeply grateful for the care I received at Chateau and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a place where healing and hope truly come together.

The Chateau has been instrumental in my growth and continued recovery. The staff and therapists humanized my experience from day one, providing a safe and supportive space where I could begin to rediscover my whole self. Through multiple modalities, I was able to process and begin healing from both deep-rooted and secondary traumas—some of which I had carried for far too long in silence. What sets Chateau apart is their unwavering support even after treatment ends. Their commitment to alumni care reminds us we’re never walking this road alone. I’ve continued to grow, and while I still face struggles, the ongoing alumni meetings, reunion, and check-ins have helped me feel held and connected. There’s a true family and community feel that stays with you. I even had the chance to visit the beautiful new facility—and walking through those doors felt like coming home. What other treatment center invites you back with open arms, long after you’ve completed the program? Because of Chateau, I am more than confident in saying: I will finally be able to live the life I truly deserve. 💪🙌

I truly owe my life to Chateau! I have been to Chateau twice after severely struggling and ended up spending almost three months total there. I was very anxious not being a first responder or veteran and much younger than many of those there. The second I walked through the front door, I felt safe. Clients and staff didn’t not care that I was neither of those things. Through the help of Chateau, I found the motivation and will to stay alive and sober. I started to discover my authentic self and be happy with who I was. Chateau helped me in so many ways and will never be able to express the amount of gratitude I have for the facility, staff and clients. They are accommodating to all needs and are truly there to help you become better. I highly recommend this amazing place to anyone who is struggling!

I came to Deer Hollow carrying years of unresolved trauma and symptoms that had taken over my life. I had tried therapy before, but nothing reached the root of what I was dealing with until I walked through their doors. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel safe, grounded, and understood in a way I hadn’t experienced anywhere else. Residential treatment was intense, structured, and emotionally heavy at times — but it was also exactly what I needed. The trauma-focused work, especially IFS, helped me understand why I reacted the way I did, where my patterns came from, and how to work with the parts of myself that had been stuck for so long. The therapists were incredibly skilled, patient, and compassionate. They didn’t just teach me tools; they helped me truly heal. Moving through the step-down levels of care gave me time and support to practice what I was learning while still having a clinical team behind me. Each phase built on the one before it, and for the first time, I felt real change happening — not temporary relief, but deep, foundational healing. Deer Hollow didn’t just help me manage my trauma; they helped me reclaim my life. I’m grateful every day that I made the decision to go.

A little over four months ago I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Deer Hollow Sober Living and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). I had actually attended a different residential treatment facility in Salt Lake for roughly two months and was informed that their sober living was being closed. This turned out to be one the most impactful and positive things that happened to me in early recovery as it ultimately led me to Deer Hollow. I now have just over six months sober and can attest that their entire team, from ownership to clinicians to program coordinators to house managers, genuinely care about the well-being and lasting recovery of their clients. They maintain a long-term focus to help ensure every client has the best chance of ongoing success after you leave the structured environment of sober living / IOP, which from my past experience is a rare quality among treatment programs. Being in an IOP program especially can sometimes seem monotonous and repetitive after a w

I recently had a surgical procedure at the surgical center within Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I arrived, the entire staff made me feel like I was their top priority. They were incredibly personable, taking the time to chat with me, answer all my questions, and ease any pre-surgery nerves with genuine warmth and kindness. What stood out most was how caring and attentive everyone was—nurses checked in frequently, ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way, and the doctors and support team explained everything clearly without rushing. The process was remarkably fast and efficient, yet never felt hurried; everything ran smoothly from check-in to recovery. Their professionalism was top-notch, with state-of-the-art facilities and a team that clearly knows what they're doing. In a world where healthcare can sometimes feel impersonal, Mountain View truly lives up to its commitment to treating patients like family. I left feeling well taken care of and recovered quickly thanks to their expertise. If you're in the Payson area and need surgical care, this is the place to go—I highly recommend it without any hesitation! Thank you to the amazing team for making a stressful day so positive. Dr. Anderson is an amazing doctor and work extra hard getting my insurance to approve my nerve stimulater battery replacement and I also want to give a big shout-out to Samantha Bates his office coordinator she a was a huge help in getting this procedure across the finish line. They start off seeming very nice, and the staff is friendly at first. But once you’ve been there for a while and they find out more about you, they begin to treat you judgmentally. There are about two or three people there who are genuinely sincere and do care, but the rest seem to be more focused on control than compassion. Beware of this company they’re manipulators who take advantage of people trying to recover. I remember one of the other occupants there threatened my life, and when I wanted to leave because my job and home was on the line, they refused to release me. I was basically held hostage for 30 days. Be cautious about that one clause in their agreement. Also, every time you take a drug test, you’ll be charged even though they don’t tell you that upfront. Those are hidden fees that show up only after you leave the clinic.

You will send your loved one there an alcoholic and return addicted to vaping. They don’t allow you to send any of that with them. After they are there two weeks they give them access to a smoke shop with delivery’s to the door. Shifting addiction to something else is all they do.

Steps was the first place I've ever gone to treatment and it was well worth it, so far it's saved my relationship with my wife, my family and myself. The staff is extremely kind and caring and just wants to help however in order for them to do so you have to be 110% open and willing to put in the work yourself. If your looking into treatment this may help you so you know what your going into and what you can bring. Blankets and pillows from home. You can vape and smoke (don't flush vapes down the toilet or you'll lose your privileges for everyone it almost happened). You can have food and candy (no energy drinks). Family nights every other week on Tuesdays. Black out period is 5 days (no phone calls). Very scheduled, you'll be going from 8am to 8pm every day but it passes time quickly. Just a few things that made my time easier, so if your looking into becoming a better you, this is the place to start.

They understand trauma on a level I’ve never experienced before, and they know how to create a safe space where you can go deep without feeling overwhelmed or judged. The work we did — especially IFS and the group sessions — helped me continue unraveling the patterns and protective parts that had controlled so much of my life. What made outpatient so powerful for me was the combination of accountability, connection, and continued therapeutic intensity. I was able to practice real-world coping skills during the week and then bring what came up back into group and individual therapy. It felt like a bridge between treatment and everyday life, and it gave me confidence I didn’t have before. The community is also something special. Being surrounded by people who understand trauma, who get the ups and downs, and who are all working toward healing made me feel less alone. I built relationships there that still support me today. Deer Hollow’s outpatient program helped me solidify the progress I made in residential and gave me the tools to live with clarity, stability, and hope. I’m genuinely grateful for the care and compassion I received during this part of my journey.

New Haven offers residential treatments for teenage girls struggling with anxiety, stress, substance abuse or eating disorders in a home-like atmosphere. New Haven is located at Spanish Fork, Utah. Sending my daughter to a residential treatment center was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make as a parent, and I was incredibly apprehensive at first. However, our experience with New Haven’s Stabilization & Assessment Program far exceeded every expectation I had. I am genuinely grateful for the level of care, support, and communication we received from day one. The clinical director and my daughter’s therapist, Cassi, was truly exceptional. Cassi built trust with my daughter in a way I had not seen before, and knowing that my daughter felt safe going to her with anything meant everything to me. The clinical leadership made sure I understood every step of the process, and they took my concerns seriously from the moment we arrived. Their professionalism, compassion, and genuine investment in my daughter’s well-being stood out immediately. The nursing staff was just as incredible. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure her safety, monitor her needs, and communicate with me about even the smallest changes or questions. There was never a moment when I felt out of the loop. Whether it was a medical update or a quick check-in, their communication was consistent, thoughtful, and reassuring. I could always reach someone when I needed to, and I never once felt like my daughter wasn’t in excellent hands. One of the biggest strengths of New Haven’s program is how thorough, individualized, and comprehensive their assessment process is. They provided the most detailed psychological evaluation my daughter has ever received, and for the first time, I truly felt like her experiences, symptoms, and struggles were understood with depth and accuracy. They paid attention to nuances that are so often overlooked by other providers, and those insights have already transformed how I support her at home. Despite some negative reviews in the past, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. The program is thoughtfully designed, tailored to each child’s needs, and grounded in compassion and clinical expertise. I felt supported at every turn; not just my daughter, but me as a parent navigating an overwhelming situation. My daughter made meaningful progress during her three months there, and the foundation they helped her build is something she continues to benefit from today. I am sincerely grateful for the entire team at New Haven, and I would not hesitate to recommend this program to any family whose child needs this level of care. They truly changed our lives for the better.

The team of therapists, relational coaches, medical staff, and teachers was all needed to create a safety bubble around our teen while she experienced a real and present storm in her life requiring therapy (individual, group, & family therapy). After 12 months of school and therapy, she was able to actually complete high school early and has launched successfully into her college experience. Thankfully, New Haven offers aftercare options to make the transition bearable- it is a lot to transition from a safety bubble to college life. We appreciate the deep care from all the staff, including the cook and night staff, who all make themselves available to the kiddos when a listening ear is needed. The reason for 4 stars was because we would’ve like to see more daily physical activity included in the program for a healthy lifestyle. However, there were parent weekends to national parks and many outdoor opportunities. In summary, New Haven aims at making families whole and we were blessed to be one of those families.

My daughter spent a year at New Haven and it was an excellent experience for us and for her. If you are considering New Haven, you’re in a tough place and have been through a lot. We were there and made mistakes before finding New Haven. The team was excellent - especially her counselor (shout out to the amazing Amy). The depth of the program and the quality of the people had a profoundly positive impact on our daughter and our family. I’m extremely thankful that we found this place. We still stay in touch with multiple families that we met through the program. My daughter supported my writing this review which says everything. These are good people doing good work.

I flew in from North Carolina, Billie made the entire process very easy. Upon arrival at Salt Lake International, her transport team was very professional and greeted me at the arrivals hall. When I arrived, the nurses seamlessly checked me in. I was given a thorough medical check before being able to lay down on a very comfortable bed! My stay was short (about six days), but the staff were professional and very friendly. I couldn’t asked for a more relaxed stay, thank you to the amazing staff! The experience was relaxing, and I had no issues whatsoever. Thanks Billie, your team is amazing!

My adopted daughters started really struggling once they hit their teen years and although they had great therapists at home, this was not sufficient for their struggles. Their life choices were escalating into scary situations and it was hard to consider out of home therapy placement. I'm so thankful I found Youth Cares as they truly care about children and getting to the root cause of their struggles. They taught my daughters really great DBT coping skills that will help them throughout life. My girls were treated with care and respect while in treatment. The therapists and staff are really great and made such a huge difference for our family. I'm so thankful for the online parenting group classes they offer that taught me so much and helped me to be a more effective parent!

I want to speak to all the parents who believe that when our children make mistakes, they can never be the same again. I want you to look at these photos of Roberto, a boy who was programmed to be a champion since the womb but whose adolescence and life experiences led him to make his own decisions, though not always the right ones. With the help of Youth Care and the full support of my husband, his siblings, and myself, his mother, he was able to find himself again. ♥️ We are also deeply grateful to the other families who were going through the same struggles and, by sharing their stories, helped us support each other. Thanks to Youth Care’s guidance, our perseverance, and Roberto’s wise decision, he has now been able to change his life or maybe return to the one that was always there since the day he was born. Is it worth it? Absolutely, more than you can imagine. Take the step. For us, the greatest gift Youth Care gave us was communication. We didn’t have it at the beginning but we eventually found it and with it came real change. A piece of advice: when they call you for the enrollment process, ask to attend the therapy sessions, especially the group ones. I miss them deeply. Today we are happy. Roberto is back to his lifelong sport, back by his own choice after 15 years of life. ♥️
