TCRHCC was my clinic/ hospital since childhood. Early 2018, was referred transfer to Kayenta Clinic: since then been medically treated well: dental, ENT, and several ER visits. Received my Provider, she's great: referrals to other medical updates - she got departments calling me fir schedules that I needed done. Now waiting for appointment dates to arrive and getting them done.
At TCRHCC, was fine with the facility until a short time before being transferred - my doctor informed me by stating, "I have over 200 patients a week, so I only have 7 minutes to see to a you, and you look fine to me." And he left the exam room. I had a bad infected ear. Yes, he did come in and he didn't even do an exam on my ear, no medication, very unprofessional and very rude Oriental Doctor. I went to the an office to request a transfer to another clinic or hospital that same day. I now am satisfied with my medical services. I thank God for the right medical doctors and their facilities . Keeping them in prayers.

I traveled from Albuquerque because they couldn't help me there. And my family suggested the 4 hour travel while I was in pain and they checked me within 10 mins and got me admitted right away and got treated and got a room and they I was asked how long I would like to stay and I honestly just wanted to stay until I got better and that was 3 days and they wanted me to stay longer but I couldn't do that to my family and my job so I had to go home. Gave birth mid august my care team was great! The entire OB ward did a fabulous job after a lengthy labor. Super attentive. Very respectful. Though this hospital could be updated, the rooms were clean! Thank-you to the staff for taking care of me and my first baby! It was tough but this staff made us as comfortable as possible during our 4 day stay.

The front desk receptionist is extremely nice and understanding and caring they make you feel welcomed the doctors are very knowledgeable and helpful they know what they're talking about. We sent our son here and they truly have a wonderful program. Their staff has been so supportive and informative about their process. The outdoor hiking and camping is something that has truly resonated with our son. The all male environment is something that our son really needed to be able to focus on friendships and connections with other men struggling with the same issues. They build a community and that is what young men need today instead of the constant online activity and lack of personal connections. Our son truly enjoyed the hiking, camping and team building exercises. The personal growth and maturity we have seen in him since he started the program really has given us hope for our son and a sober future.

Back 2 Basics has been instrumental in helping change my life. I was at a point in my life where I didn't have a lot of hope left. I had given up on sobriety as I had tried in the past and even gone to treatment, but never was comfortable being sober. I couldn't envision a sober life, but I was quickly spiraling as my substance use increased during the early part of 2026. I decided to reach out to Wolf Creek to give it one last try and I'm so glad I did. I attended the PHP program for 90 days, from March through June 2026. Wolf Creek has a family atmosphere where the staff really cares and takes the time to connect with clients on a personal level. The housing was very nice and the activities are great. I felt like a kid again being able to go the the batting cages and bowling. Most importantly, I feel connected to life and people again and have lots of hope for the future and a sense of purpose. When I went to wolf creek it was for all the wrong reasons but I knew deep down that something in my life needed to change. I thought I could just go for 30 days because I had worked programs before just never been to rehab. But the first two weeks I thought were a complete waste because I was so angry with myself for the position I had put myself. It wasn’t until my daughter called me and she was hurting, I was able to articulate and say just what she needed to hear. Just by being sober for a couple weeks my mind had started to clear. It was at the point I decided to start working the program being that I hadn’t up to that point. 30 days turned into 45, which turned into 90, and I eventually did 120 days. Something I never imagined when I arrived. I put myself in every vulnerable situation I could and did everything I was asked. I dealt with demons that I didn’t even know were causing me problems. The facilitators and therapist really care and I’m so grateful to have this experience. It changed my life.

My experience at Wolf Creek Recovery was truly life changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely supported by a compassionate, caring, and hands-on team that made me feel safe throughout the entire process. Having all psychiatric and clinical care fully in person made such a difference and created a much more personal and connected experience.
The EMDR therapy was especially impactful for me and became such an important part of my healing journey. It helped me work through things on a much deeper level, and I’m so grateful for the therapists who guided me with so much compassion, patience, and professionalism.
Another part of the program that meant a lot to me was the family therapy and integration component. Wolf Creek recognizes that recovery affects the whole family, not just the individual. The support and involvement they provided helped create more understanding, healing, and healthier communication for everyone involved.
The facilities and amenities are beautiful, upscale, and incredibly comfortable while still feeling warm and welcoming. Wolf Creek Recovery truly combines luxury accommodations with meaningful, high-quality clinical care. I can’t say enough good things about Steps Recovery Center. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. The staff truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and supported throughout my time there.
One of the things I appreciated most was the sense of community. I made some really meaningful friendships, and the groups were honestly amazing. I actually looked forward to going to group, which I never expected! The conversations, support, and connections I made are something I’ll always be grateful for.
And I have to mention the food—it was incredible! Having good meals every day made such a difference and was definitely an unexpected bonus. 😊
Overall, Steps Recovery Center gave me a safe and supportive environment where I felt cared for and understood. This place really cares about helping people. I have been to a lot of different programs over the years. Alternative to Meds Center stands head and shoulders above the others. They offer so many different treatments and modalities. I am writing this review for you! You know who you are! Your stuck, your hopeless, your lost,you have started to avoid mirrors (in a reflection aspect anyway ) Lol! Sorry! You don’t know how you got here and further more you don’t know how you’re going to get out! Even if you did what are you going to feel like on the other side? That was me! And I was scared to death that there was no help for me. I had drank and done drugs since I was a teenager it was part of my identity. There was no way I was going to be able to function without it! But I was deteriorating in front of my own eyes! I was no longer present for anyone! I was being eaten alive by guilt and shame. I needed help in every aspect of my being! So I did what anyone would do …… I googled….RECOVERY FOR THE MIND, BODY, AND SOUL! And that’s how I found ATMC! And that’s what it was for me. They didn’t just separate me from substances like your run of the mill treatment center and stick you in classes all day! You literally have a team that works with you everyday and every step of the way! These people have taken recovery where it needs to be in order for someone to have a chance at life again! Not only do you rid your body of the terrible poisons we decided to partake in but of all toxins! And to find out what’s going on with your body your gut your hormones and you learn the things your body is deprived of and what you need day to day with natural alternatives for your brain, energy, mood and your over all health. It’s then that you actually have a fighting chance to work on you! The Trauma the neglect the abusive relationships whatever it is you were( self medicating) numbing in the first place. I went to Legacy as a client in May of 2012. I was out in the Utah wilderness with Mike, who's still a member of the team and many other wonderful guides. I had a profound experience, despite going at age 19, not being ready for sobriety, and not seeing that I had a real problem. I was as pessimistic and wounded as a 19 year old could be. About 30-45 days in my perspective began shifting, I felt loved and seen by the team and I was accomplishing hard things for the first time in a while.
For the next 10 years, I stayed in touch with Mike and other members of the team, they checked on me and followed up every now and then. I followed up with them. The time was meaningful and I grew close to them.
In 2022 I started working in the addiction and behavioral health field for a long term program in Boulder Colorado. I now get to work with Mike and members of the Legacy team. Often it's Legacy guys who are graduating who are maybe coming to our sober living, but I occasionally get to chat with potential clients and their families who are considering Legacy as their starting point. I talk about my experience there - I give a 5 star review over the phone and in person - not just via Google.
My mother was terrified to hold a boundary and send me to Legacy, and I was furious with her at the time for doing it. It didn't take that long until I thanked her from the bottom of my heart for having the strength to do so. Thank God she did not listen to what 19 year old Phil wanted to do! Thank you legacy for what you did for me and what you have done and continue to do for so many others.

Best decision I ever made. Being out in nature and having to overcome fears that you wouldnt experience in a normal rehab setting taught me a ton and gave me a different perspective on life & recovery. I went to 2 different places for treatment before Legacy and the people that work at Legacy care so much more. It was the hardest thing I’ve had to do, it definitely wasn’t easy. I wanted to leave everyday for a month but sticking through it benefited me so much and I grew to love all the badass stuff you get to do there. I have the most sobriety now since trying to get sober, most likely wouldn’t be the case if I didn’t go there

Choosing to enroll in a program like this is a significant financial and emotional commitment, and I hope my experience can help guide others facing the same decision. I waited to write this review until several months after our son John completed his time at Legacy, since the real measure of a treatment center is how a child fares after discharge.
There aren’t enough stars to rate Legacy, nor enough words to express how profoundly their treatment benefited John. Before Legacy, John was struggling—depressed, anxious, and lacking direction after high school graduation. He was caught up in computer and phone addiction, using marijuana, and eventually experiencing suicidal thoughts. Despite years in traditional therapy with caring counselors, nothing seemed to help. With the help of a consulting firm, we discovered Legacy.
At 18, John had to make the decision himself. Initially, he resisted and was upset by the idea, convinced he could recover at home. Chris in admissions and Derek supported us, helping us communicate with John. During a particularly difficult period, we persuaded him to try Legacy. The wilderness portion was tough for him as he doesn't enjoy being outdoors, but the staff’s kindness convinced him to stay for the full three months.
We visited John during the family weekend workshop two thirds of the way through his treatment, and saw remarkable progress—he was more patient, optimistic, and confident, discovering joy in small things and learning he could overcome fears. The staff was compassionate and informative, and the group activities, (run by Mike, Troy and Justin), went much deeper than traditional therapy. Brody’s caring attitude, along with his dog Nemo, made a lasting impact, and Amber, John’s counselor, worked tirelessly to equip us all with the tools for John’s lasting success.
John returned home just before Thanksgiving. While we still take things one day at a time, we are amazed at his transformation. He’s regained his spark—earning praise at his new job, attending school with perfect attendance, working out daily, and independently managing his appointments.
We’re beyond grateful to see his joyful self again. I hope our story offers encouragement to anyone considering Legacy for their loved one.

An I'm really thinking of goin that way for treatment to get away from here for awhile an maybe if I like it there then maybe I'll move me n my kids that way after I get settled in n a place of my own. Because I known if I come back home I'm for sure gonna relapse because I known so much people all around were I live. N tbh I'm never home I'm always out running around on my rez because I know pretty much every user. But yeah I don't want to be this person I am today I want to be the person I was 6 years ago n that is a mother that worked I was married but I'm a widow for 3 years now. I can't continue to live this life, I lost the one person that loved me my best friend my husband. Me n him were supposed to sober up together n get our kids back but then he went missing ,but he was found but not the way I last saw him. That was the worst day of my life finding that he was no longer wit us, I can't keep living this drug life my kids lost there dad n I don't need them to lose me too. I need my kids more then they need me. But my question is OK when I complete everything n if I do choose to stay that way how long do u think it would take to get a place for me n my kids n do u guys help wit that too or how does that work.
