I would recommend the ranch to anyone that is seeking help with addiction and/or mental health. I sought treatment in April of this year and it has changed my life. I finally was able to get sober from alcohol after 12+ years of misery. This place is different than other rehabs. They actually help you understand why you drink/use and get to the root of the problem. The classes work magic, the staff are top tier., the therapy is extremely helpful. This isn’t some monotonous place, they incorporate fun and make learning fun all while addressing your needs. Previously I hated being alone and now I can sit with myself and feel completely comfortable, thanks to the ranch! The trajectory of my life has been changed because of yall! I owe you all my gratitude :)

I spent 3 months at Freeman Recovery and I couldn’t recommend it more. The staff is kind, caring and so helpful. They are very knowledgeable about addiction and treatment, as most of the staff have been there themselves at one point. Comfortable houses, a loving community and counseling is all top tier. Can’t thank Freeman enough for my time there, I would go back or put my family through this program, anytime needed.

When I got to Freeman Recovery Center in 2022 I was addicted, hopeless and at rock bottom. I had never been to treatment before so I had no idea what to expect, I was just trying to get clean. my Counselor Paul Cruz and Shelby Miller showed me love, compassion and what recovery looked like. They had faith in me when i didn't have faith in myself. Over the course of 13 months in treatment I learned how to live life on life's terms without using, I learned how to be a productive member of society and they gave me the tools to recover. I now work in the recovery field that's Christ centered, i owe alot of my success to Freeman. If you are struggling with addiction and need help I would strongly suggest reaching out to Freeman. The team at the center have the clients best interest at heart and will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and can heal. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

It's a good rehab to go to get more tools for recovery, they don't allow you to get a job, keep your cellphone, or even have visitors because of the fact stupid people kept finding ways to bring drugs and alcohol on the property.. so yeah it's highly strict but it has to be.. addict's shouldn't be completely comfortable with recovery it's part of growth.. recovery addict are comfortable or slacking responsibility eventually it only kills them because they relapse back where they left off... However I gave it 4 Stars because of the fact they have a certain amount of food they follow to feed the client and if you have no money you basically can't buy extra snacks or drinks from there vending machines.. no gyms, no pools, no treatment for trama, the nurses don't even check to make sure they are prescribed the medication correctly through out the day you have to go to your counselor to get anything done they don't believe you or have time to listen to the client.. Staff definitely could make some improvements.. as for cleaning or taking out the trash or even doing community service is all done by the client.. I stayed in White House til moved to Brick House we clients worked hard to keep it clean, safe and even welcoming to the New Members.. Truthfully everything is based on the Clients behavior and following the Structure Rules.. We are Addict's our life became unmanageable due to our addiction.. Having responsibility teach You how to get a solid foundation back in your life before you are discharged.. when you graduate they will help you get into a halfway house or sober living but the one they sent me to in Knoxville TN is definitely not a good place to go.. integrity halfway house is highly disgusting, creepy bedbug's, crappy hot water heater, $175 a week, and they don't even give a damn if you get back on your feet all they care about is how much money they are making off you nothing else matters.. anyway I hope this report helps you on making a decision on your Best interest

Went to Howenwald campus approx 12-27-22. wanted to stay on med assist so the sent me Clarksville campus. I had a peer that also came from howenwald was like 2 wks ahead of me. After 30 days i think you can work, have your vehicle, you keep your own meds 3days worth then4 days for a wk. They do count daily. When i first got to Clarksville, they help you with food stamps, you can get walmart groceries delivered. The house i was in was 1 of 3 in a cul de sac. about 15 min from office. Descent 3br 2 ba homes a few yrs old in typ subdivision. Counselors were very helpful and caring. The head lady was having an affair with a peer. The housing next to office are older and thats where they put u when u first get there. There were a few bugs at the 1 hse basement floor not infested. They had descent foam mattresses. All the houses i was in had smart tvs in lr. There were 2 fridges per hse and a dedicated stand up deep freeze. All in all had a very good experience. Still clean to this day 8/8/25. Havnt been to sub dr since oct or nov 24. Still have a few left. I tapered myself down i was on 2 a day in buff vall. Only took 1 or 1. 5. Last dr visit i was down to taking 1/4 or less. Take a small piece every other or 3 sometimes less. I recently lost my mom last month. It was definitely worth the time and effort to get clean so I could care for her the last cpl yrs. I give Buffalo Valley 2 middle fingers up. Probably owe them my life. And Thank You Brent Andrew Morgan, for the ride and helping me get in and even helping with clothes, underwears, and toiletries. I love you brother!!! Stay strong you will get to come home soon.

Not to be antagonistic, but most, if not all of the complaints on here are from people who were asked to leave because they refused to submit to the leadership of HC, or they just left on their own because they were not serious enough about getting TOTALLY clean. My son went through the men’s HC program 2 separate times in Waverly (which is located near McEwen). The 1st time he completed the program, but relapsed later and had to go through the program again. The 2nd time he refused to submit to leadership & was asked to leave. HC leadership is godly & loving. I highly recommend this ministry!!!

I checked myself in for alcoholism and opiate abuse. I was drinking so much I was falling and hurting myself and ruining my marriage and on a path to possibly loosing job and even land myself in jail. I was miserable and at rock bottom. Once there after the detox period i started attending group therapy sessions, individual therapy session’s sessions, and working with the techs to become involved in my recovery process. First 5 days i was detoxing and once that was over i got super involved in the program and day by day got better each day. I received excellent nursing and medical provider support. I had amazing group therapy sessions. I was fed delicious meals every day. I had a great case manager and had a primary therapist who was absolutely perfect. The staff was absolutely first class and my treatment started me on a successful path to recovery. This place literally changed my life. They took care of my every need physically, mentally, and emotionally. I highly recommend if you need help for addiction this is where you need to be.

Wonderful people who really care. Of course you have a few are ill at the world and hate their job. The facility is a 10 out of 5 lol. It's absolutely a postcard. The food is cafeteria style and excellent. The only complaint is during detox the decision for patients to go to the cabins is up to a nurse. Detox is terrible and after days of no sleep or eating is the absolute worst time to move a patient. But that's what happens. You physically can't lift your head off the pillow and you have someone yelling get up. Doctor's are there daily so I don't think you should move until the doctor okays it. Besides that it's doesn't get any better.

I was fortunate enough to find Cumberland Heights in Tennessee even though I live in Ohio and it was the best thing I could have done, I was a patient there in 2011 and 15 years later as of this review I am still sober, CH is an amazing treatment facility with knowledgeable and compassionate staff who can relate to your situation, they have art therapy, music therapy, outside meetings, speakers and powerful activities to help you overcome past traumas and behaviors, it is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting and the food was amazing too. They have a great support system (alumni) and resources to continue in your sobriety journey once you are out of inpatient, I donate yearly to CH so that someone else can hopefully find their way there.

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

Brentwood Springs Detox is a leading drug and alcohol detox center in the south eastern part of Nashville, Tennessee.. The goal is to help you wean off addiction related toxins from your body and get it ready for the main therapy. Their medically supervised detox program helps you safely and effectively manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal.
My name is Daye Cooper. My experience at Brentwood Springs was amazing for the most part. I only had problems with one particular nurse who refused to give me medication that the doctor had already ordered, causing me to be in withdrawal for three days from a medication that I had no plans on stopping. Apparently, she had her own personal reasons for not wanting to give me my medication. She felt like I shouldn’t be taking it to begin with??? Once a more experienced nurse came in, though she took care of it and fixed the problem. The entire staff is kind and caring. The medication’s are very customized to each individual. When I felt like I was getting sick they extended my taper to make sure that I was not uncomfortable. The meals are catered or homemade. The kitchen pantry is stocked as well as the refrigerator and freezer. There are plenty of drinks and snacks including juice and fruit. I was able to reach out to my family on a regular basis and was given great advice about aftercare. I would recommend them to anyone seeking help in recovery.

I'd give out 10 stars if I could. I checked into to Brentwood Springs Detox without knowing how great it would be. I found them on the internet and pulled the trigger. They drove an hour to pick me up free of charge. Upon checking it they greeted me with an understanding of my situation. This helped put my mind at ease as I was already overwhelmed with stress of checking into a Detox center. They are very attentive of how you're feeling and immediately come up with a game plan for treatment. They are very professional in every aspect with your treatment and are open to you at all times if you are feeling a certain type of way, but at the same time every staff member is super laxed. The nurses are amazing and are available to you 24 hours a day. You can tell that they truly want to help you. I don't feel out of place here. The food is great, the people are great, and the way they have this place set up makes it feel like you are at home. They have tv's with all kinds of apps and cable. The whole place is clean and well kept. The rooms are clean. The meetings they set up are absolutely amazing and have helped me tremendously. They have a beautiful backyard with great views which is crucial to your feeling of well being (at least for me) Cameron is great as well. In the 3 days that I've been here he's given me tons of knowledge and advice and has made sure to check up on me and how I'm feeling. Again, the whole staff truly wants to help you. You can talk to them at all times about anything and they will all completely understand. I would recommend this place to anybody I know that needs help, and hopefully this review will help all of you who are searching the best place to help you and everything you are going through.

My husband came into the ER Friday night. Had to have surgery the following day. Everyone from the ER staff, nurses and Doctors on the 2nd floor, and physical therapy has been amazing. We have been to several different hospitals in the past and have never had the care and friendliness we have received here.

A special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Gerald Davis II (Nashville, TN VA Dental Clinic), for the top-notch care I received on 21 April 2026. His actions ensured my dental needs were met. He was able to streamline processes that normally take 2-3 weeks to achieve. He was successful in 1 day. Dr. Davis is a true professional!

I did my IOP at Foundations Nashville after leaving Black Bear Lodge. The transition was seamless. Even though we did IOP through ZOOM it was a GREAT experience. I had wonderful therapists: Lauren, Lyndee, and Dr. Dan! They offer lots of resources and the community and connection in the room and between the group members worked well despite the fact we were online. I highly recommend Foundations Nashville. I have dual diagnosis of addictions and depression and I came out of IOP much better than I came in and with the tools I need to continue my life long journey of recovery and discovery. Thanks again FRN IOP. I truly appreciate your partnership in my recovery!

I visit the Veterans Outpatient Clinic located at 1919 Charlotte Ave in Nashville Tennessee for my Veterans Affairs Doctor appointments. This Veterans Outpatient Clinic is convenient for me to access because it's not far from where I live. I like to go see my Care Provider here for my medical follow-ups. I usually get in and out fairly quickly. The nurses are friendly and very professional. There is a on sight lab here for me to get my lab work requirements done. I normally go to see my Veterans Affairs Doctor every 6 months. The parking area is efficient and I normally don't have any problems finding a place to park my vehicle. I have been going to the Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic located at 1919 Charlotte Ave in Nashville Tennessee for a few years now. However on occasion it's a little hard to find a place to park.

I wish I could give unlimited stars — this place truly gave me my life back. Of course, God made it possible too, but the team at Centerstone and Dr. Robert genuinely care about helping people, not about capitalism or unnecessary treatments. They are honest, compassionate, and focused on what patients actually need. May God bless you all ! Amen They only prescribe medications that are truly necessary for the patient, which shows their integrity and commitment to real recovery. I’m deeply grateful for the care and support I received here.

As far as mental hospitals go this one is pretty good my only criticisms are that my blood work showed one of the levels for my kidneys was elevated and it was never followed up on. The other thing is they lost the only thing I brought. I brought one thing, my sandals, they had to take because they had metal on them but they lost them. Though they were only from five below so at least they weren’t expensive shoes and they did get me some shoes from the donation box so I didn’t have to leave in socks. They are nicer here than the other mental hospital I went to before hopefully I never have to go back to one again but they are pretty nice here.

I’d say this facility is one of the nicer ones I went to. It had a nice courtyard, decent food, nice facility and lots of activities. They recently started a levels chart where you can earn rewards, even headphones. There was one incredibly rude staff member who would just tell us how much she hated kids and refused to give us things like deodorant if we didn’t “ask correctly” One time I said please in the wring order in a sentence so she didn’t give me my hygiene supplies. I always wondered why she chose to work with kids. There were little to no therapy groups mostly just games but I did find my time there helpful. Definitely a nicer facility than others.
