My stay here helped save my life! While the program is rigorous and rules are strict - if you throw yourself fully into the process, you will see results. Staff is warm and caring and are always trying to meet clients where they’re at. Hopefully I never need to, but I would return here for treatment if I had to.

Be aware there are a lot of rules and you are punished if you break the rules. With that being said it’s a structured environment that does provide good therapy. There can be some toxicity amongst other patients so it’s best to not let that get to you and your recovery. I had a necklace that I left there for over a year that was for my great grandfather who fought in World war 2. Somehow someway I called them on a whim and they had the necklace and they sent it to me!! This was such a big deal to me and they took such care and making sure they didn’t lose the item. Of course if it was a two toothpaste it would’ve been gone. Now I’m in college and I’m two weeks away from my first study abroad trip to Argentina to study Spanish in my life makes sense. Thank you to all the therapists who helped me there and thank you to the team members who help deliver me my antique necklace.

At first I was afraid and then Karen opened up to me and welcomed me in and I felt wanted and heard which was huge for me something I struggled with and it was the best experience I could have ever imagined all the staff and the girls were very friendly and it really helped being around people who understood what I was going through if your thinking about coming here please do it was everything I could have ever asked for and more ❤

This place is pretty special. They spread good throughout an under-served segment of our community by providing a safe place for neighbors recovering and healing, who might not have the means to stay in a rehab facility. People who have bills to pay, family to care for, and work to do (or find) and still deal with their personal demons have solace here. Tools are provided for work training, personal empowerment, healing through creativity, and many more classes and offerings (both in person/virtual), as well as personal mental health therapy sessions. This group perfectly exemplifies our mountain culture of hospitality and endurance while occupying a historic craftsman style home near downtown Waynesville. I really cannot give enough words of praise for this down-to-earth home-grown practice of truly caring professionals.

There are good people here and I have found them. Most of the classes they offer give you wonderful suggestions to learn to set boundaries and manage Anxiety while the one on one actually helps a lot if you get the right person. I feel it has benefited me with suggestions and strategies that you can apply to every day life. As someone said on here you have to do the work yourself. Didn't take you a day to get here so give it a few weeks and if you don't have the right class or person ask for someone else or go to a different class.

Did some work there is an outside vendor. It’s a rehabilitation facility for men recovering from various forms of addiction. They learn how to live off the land and run a farm, everybody I saw there had a smile and a positive attitude, they invited me to eat with the patients and staff, the food was great. Angela was extremely nice and helpful in the beginning. Telling me everything I wanted to hear to get me to bring my son. He wasn't there a week good and had so many valid complaints. When asked of he could be moved to another room to void conflict with a roommate that has has issues with several other people he was told no. When I called to peak to someone about the issue, my son was asked why he mentioned it to his family and that they would make it worse for him since I called. When trying to contact Angela about the situation she did not respond and never did. However prior to his admission the communication was instant. Not only did I text and call her I sent emails as well with no response. This was a waste of 2 weeks at the facility they were no help and the nursing staff is just as bad. I called to pick up his suitcase and ws told to come get it. Only to drive n hour and a half for them to say it was thrown away. Who is going to reimburse me for those items?

This place helped me out a lot. I struggle from type 2 bipolar disorder and they really sat down and try to understand what I was going through. I also have a lot of trauma and they sat down with me and try to help me deal with it. The doctor is really nice. Same with my nurses. My wife has Alzheimer's/FTD/PPA and was moved here from her memory care facility to get a medication adjustment and re-placement into another facility. She was always treated respectfully and was clean and comfortable. The staff always genuinely cared for my wife. She was there 4 weeks and is adjusting well to her new facility.

I went to this bethel colony of mercy in the early 2000's. I lived in New Jersey and a friend got me a bus ticket and sent me to the colony. I got clean for a while but backslid after a couple of years. But the seed was planted. I got my GED at Caldwell community college while I was there. Many years later on March 30th of 2011 I lost my mom .. that was the day I grew up. I relapsed again for the last time and went to prison for 3 years and finally got clean for good. Bethel colony planted the seed and I'm a better person today. Thank God I went to this place. It did change my life ... My bad lifestyle finally caught up to me and I'm dealing with a lot of health problems. I'm still in a positive mindset even through my trials. Glory be to God for transforming me and my life.

I had a wonderful experience at Ridgeview. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. Summer at the front desk made the check-in process easy and comfortable — she’s always friendly, patient, and professional. Jennifer, who handled my intake, was kind, understanding, and really took the time to listen to me and explain everything clearly.
It’s not always easy reaching out for help, but the staff here truly make you feel supported and respected. I’m so grateful for the compassion and professionalism they showed me. Ridgeview is an excellent facility, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality mental health care.

Wow! A very helpful place indeed! I'd like to give a special kudos to Jennifer McKinney who was an absolutely amazing person! She greeted me with a smile. Made me feel warm, comfortable and invited. I was happy to be there. Once she set my mind at ease, she quickly began assessing my needs. I made sure that she got me the help that I needed without any stress or worry. Her humor is unparalleled, yet she professionally handled herself and assisted me on my way! All in all I was seen in short order. The facility was a calming place and every staff member or some of the most benevolent folks I think I have ever met! Would recommend to go here if you're in a crisis or needing help or just looking for some resources to better yourself. You won't be let down.
