I checked myself in and was met with many people to say hello. I was told by admitting people that I ewould meet with a doctor and a therapist the next day. Had to do intake 4 times.i did not get my medications that night and had to plead for them. Finally met doctor day 4 or 5 met therapist on the day I decided to leave. Classes kept me busy and they all were good. I did not get to have my glucose monitor or my BP med until my BP was higher than ever been. I will say bed was okay but Bathroom did not have fan or heat but showering was fine. I have IBS so I was uncomfortable using the bathroom and smelling it up for my roommate. Inpatients were very friendly and the staff were great. I just didn’t feel priority coming in with my situation and not getting the doctor next day and he took meds a way with no explanation and I could not get my meds on the schedule I always had which throw me off with everything. Nurses were great and tried to help but they didn’t always get responses from doctors etc after 5. The classes did help me I learned a lot about why I got to that lowest point and how to resolve my triggers myself. For those who have Alcohol and drug problems this center is very good. I had acute grief for the loss of my husband of 51 yrs that was everything to me. Most all the staff were kind and understanding. New patients need to be prioritized specially with medications when drs have put you on thing you have taken for long period you can’t just stop with no explanation why and another suggestion made. For example a sleep medication your used to having.

My experience at Apex in October truly changed my life. I’m proud to say that I’m still sober today, and my life is so much better because of the support I received there. My therapist, Eleanor, was absolutely amazing and made my stay so much more enjoyable. Her arts and crafts groups always had deeper meaning behind them and really helped me open up and heal in ways I didn’t expect. Hailey wasn’t my therapist, but she was always there whenever I needed someone, and I loved when she and Eleanor did groups together. Their energy and support made such a difference during my time there. I also want to recognize the RS staff — Tim, Val, Herb, and Jaycee — who were all incredible and always available whenever I needed help or support. Every nurse I interacted with was kind and caring as well. A special thank you to the nurse practitioner, Deressa, who was the absolute best. Anytime I needed medication adjustments, she handled it quickly, and she also took the time to listen whenever I just needed to vent. Everyone at Apex taught me things that I still use in my daily life. I’m beyond grateful for the care, compassion, and support I received there. Sorry if I left anyone off — I can honestly say I didn’t have a bad experience with anyone there, so if I didn’t name you, charge it to my head and not my heart. ❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Unity Psych Care. They took such great care of my dad during a really difficult time for our family. What stood out the most was how informative everyone was—they always took the time to explain his treatment plan, answer our questions, and keep us updated. It made a huge difference in helping us feel comfortable and confident in the care he was receiving. Latoya was a very good nurse who always ensured he was in good hands. Thank you for making our lives easier.

Im so grateful for the care my mother received at Unity Psychiatric Care. The staff truly made a difference in her mental health journey. They were patient, compassionate, and created a safe environment where she could begin to heal and feel like herself again. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients—not just treating them, but helping them grow stronger mentally and emotionally. Because of them, my mom is in a much better place, and our family has so much peace. My only complaint is they lost some of her clothing items Highly recommend to anyone who wants real, meaningful care for their loved one.

Through medication-assisted treatment (MAT), their outpatient program allows for flexible treatment options. Their intensive outpatient program includes more structured care and therapy sess
Put simply, JourneyPure saved my life. I was at the proverbial fork-in-the-road where I could die or I could choose to take action and regain control of my destiny. I chose the latter and I’m better for it. The staff at JP-Franklin are second to none. From intake, to the billing department (Chance), to my group therapy sessions (and my therapist, Tim...awesome dude), and my coach (Jackie) I was shown love, care, and support by everyone with whom I came in contact, staff and fellow patients alike. They provided me with a judgement-free environment where I was able to be honest and vulnerable to get the most out of my recovery. I came in to the program in absolute tatters and left with my head held high. I was given the tools necessary to ensure that I started my journey of recovery on the right path. To anyone reading this and debating facilities or programs, please stop looking. This is the spot you need to be. If it worked on me, I assure you it can work on you. Do yourself a favor, make the decision to get sober at JourneyPure. I promise it’ll be one of the best decisions you ever made in your life. The journey of a million miles starts with the first step. Take that first step with these folks.

Called Journey pure at my lowest point in life and from the first day I called they helped me put myself back together, from therapy to medication to help myself stay sober. The entire staff from the lady answering the call on intake to the doctors and therapists, they all have your best interest in mind and are there to help and MAKE SURE you improve your quality of life with sobriety. Tim Byrum has been the greatest therapist anyone could ask for. I highly recommend him as a Therapist and Journey pure as a facility. I never thought i'd be at 31 days sober but here I am and IM PROUD OF IT!

The group therapist Tim Byrum is hands down the best group therapist this facility has. He goes above and beyond for the people in the group and I truly felt connected with the group and Tim when attending his group. I’ve tried other therapist at Journey pure but there wasn’t a lot of involvement with others and the connection and trust wasn’t there like it was with Tim. Journey pure has a true asset having Tim and other therapist there could really learn a lot from Tim. Groups with Tim felt like family lots of involvement you never felt alone and he really taught me a lot and made things easy to understand more so taught me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the knowledge I learned in just the few days I was in his group I will carry with me in this long journey of sobriety thank you Tim for everything!!

As far as mental hospitals go this one is pretty good my only criticisms are that my blood work showed one of the levels for my kidneys was elevated and it was never followed up on. The other thing is they lost the only thing I brought. I brought one thing, my sandals, they had to take because they had metal on them but they lost them. Though they were only from five below so at least they weren’t expensive shoes and they did get me some shoes from the donation box so I didn’t have to leave in socks. They are nicer here than the other mental hospital I went to before hopefully I never have to go back to one again but they are pretty nice here.

I’d say this facility is one of the nicer ones I went to. It had a nice courtyard, decent food, nice facility and lots of activities. They recently started a levels chart where you can earn rewards, even headphones. There was one incredibly rude staff member who would just tell us how much she hated kids and refused to give us things like deodorant if we didn’t “ask correctly” One time I said please in the wring order in a sentence so she didn’t give me my hygiene supplies. I always wondered why she chose to work with kids. There were little to no therapy groups mostly just games but I did find my time there helpful. Definitely a nicer facility than others.

As with anything any experience is going to be what you make of it and they will work just as hard as you do. I highly recommend them. I spent years suffering in my addiction. Years of using people places and things to try to fill that hole. I moved to this centsrstone because I was poorly treated at another. It's not that no one wants to answer I was told that corporate wants people to use OAS. This policy was aggressively forced on me in another centerstone location. I goto this location and was recently told that the location is now enforcing this policy and are telling their front desk to do as was discussed to me ehich is to tranfer to OAS. Was told they aren't aloud to help appontment scheduling eity myself. I requested a transfer to make an appointment with my provider at their native locafion and was sent to OAS anyways. Unless you call OAS, This seems to be a policy moving forward. Calling corporate seems to make it worse so ide suggest users going forward give up on the idea of a perfect solution it didn't end well for me last centerstone I was at. I hope this helps. Response from the owner an hour ago Oldsunday, thank you for the high star rating! Thank you for your response, To be clear your location is very well kept and the staff has always been friendly. The 4 stars is in regards to how well managed your location is. I just hate that the times are changing where everything has to default to a call center. It's something you are being made to do.

Wonderful people who really care. Of course you have a few are ill at the world and hate their job. The facility is a 10 out of 5 lol. It's absolutely a postcard. The food is cafeteria style and excellent. The only complaint is during detox the decision for patients to go to the cabins is up to a nurse. Detox is terrible and after days of no sleep or eating is the absolute worst time to move a patient. But that's what happens. You physically can't lift your head off the pillow and you have someone yelling get up. Doctor's are there daily so I don't think you should move until the doctor okays it. Besides that it's doesn't get any better.

I was fortunate enough to find Cumberland Heights in Tennessee even though I live in Ohio and it was the best thing I could have done, I was a patient there in 2011 and 15 years later as of this review I am still sober, CH is an amazing treatment facility with knowledgeable and compassionate staff who can relate to your situation, they have art therapy, music therapy, outside meetings, speakers and powerful activities to help you overcome past traumas and behaviors, it is located in a beautiful, peaceful setting and the food was amazing too. They have a great support system (alumni) and resources to continue in your sobriety journey once you are out of inpatient, I donate yearly to CH so that someone else can hopefully find their way there.

The Ranch single-handedly saved my life. If it weren’t for The Ranch I would not be alive today. There was not one single moment where I felt unsafe, scared, alone, or felt like just giving up. I gained confidence, a sense of self, higher self-esteem, and so much more. I didn’t just “go to rehab” I went to treatment and gained a family. A safe, sober family. My #1 favorite part of the program was the weekly experiential groups with Clare, Dan, & Tracey. Huge shout out to the following techs: Pita, Kristin, and Jordan for going above and beyond every time. Another huge shoutout to my therapist Candice who never failed to encourage me and be there for me at any moment. Also, although she wasn’t my therapist, Alexandra is absolutely fantastic and extremely intelligent. Her groups were my favorite. This place is clean, well organized, and truly a blessing. 10000/10

When I got to Freeman Recovery Center in 2022 I was addicted, hopeless and at rock bottom. I had never been to treatment before so I had no idea what to expect, I was just trying to get clean. my Counselor Paul Cruz and Shelby Miller showed me love, compassion and what recovery looked like. They had faith in me when i didn't have faith in myself. Over the course of 13 months in treatment I learned how to live life on life's terms without using, I learned how to be a productive member of society and they gave me the tools to recover. I now work in the recovery field that's Christ centered, i owe alot of my success to Freeman. If you are struggling with addiction and need help I would strongly suggest reaching out to Freeman. The team at the center have the clients best interest at heart and will go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and can heal. 10/10 RECOMMEND!

Freeman Recovery Center truly saved my life. Honestly, I don’t even want to think about where I would be without them.I went through both the PHP and IOP programs from Sept 2025-Nov 2025 and I’m so grateful that I did. The counselors and staff there aren’t just doing a job for a paycheck—they genuinely care. You can feel it in the way they talk to you, the way they listen, and the way they push you to become better. They want you to succeed, to stay sober, and to live the life you deserve—the life that’s actually possible once you choose recovery. Every single person there, no matter their role, showed up with kindness and care and made a difference in my life especially house tecs Ashley and Victoria, in php Ryan, Christopher, Savannah, and Brandy were also a huge part of my journey and helped me more than they probably even realize. In IOP, Spring, Billy, Maddie, and Ryan continued that support and helped me keep building on everything I had learned. Even the drivers, like Earl, played a role in my recovery. They don’t just help you while you’re there—they give you the tools you need to carry your recovery with you long after you leave. I have met some amazing people also who have became my best friends and very important in my life even after I have left and so thankful to have them apart of my life as well. Because of Freeman, my life is better. And because I am better, my children’s lives and my family’s lives are better too. That means everything to me.

Let’s be honest. There are a lot of things in our world that aren’t built for women or don’t think about what women need. The Next Door is the opposite. It’s a rehab center in Nashville, Tennessee that’s only for women. This rehab is faith-based so the program has a spiritual backdrop. There are inpatient programs and outpatient programs
If there is one thing I know from my years in sobriety it’s that a lot of women in active addiction also have trauma and struggle with being codependent just as I did. The Next Door gives women and expecting mothers a SAFE place to heal and recover. While there you will begin to find those lost parts of yourself you have forgotten and grow to love them again. You will gain tools , knowledge and a support system to help you become successful sober and healthy. Since going to the Next Door my life has completely transformed. I am successful and thriving with multiple years of sobriety under my belt. All the things I had lost in addiction I have gained back and most importantly I truly love myself and who I have become. I no longer seek the escape we chase in addiction. I love myself life! I’m able to give myself and my family a life I never thought possible! Fawn is AMAZING. She genuinely cares and I can guarantee doesn’t forget a woman who walks through those doors. The staff is genuine and only wants to see more people overcome the grips of addiction. And let me just say it is truly beautiful on the other side! I was scared and near death but I kept going back to try for recovery each time. I hope a woman sees this and realizes it’s possible and takes the step and calls!!! I highly recommend an ALL women’s facility and also recommend continuing to stay focused on yourself once you leave. I could go on and on about the love I have for this program! I highly recommend!!!!!

I graduated from the old facility many years ago and everything Mrs.Christy and other staff taught me, goes with me daily and gives me the tools to stay sober 1 more day. I was homeless, hopeless, broken and not a penny to my name. Samaritan sponsored me without question and gave me the tools to have a fighting chance. I had some relapses along the way, but everything the leaders at Samaritan taught me,the 12 steps, to not give up, to get up and try agin still resonates in me today. I have 3 1/2 years sober now. If you want to change, really want change and are willing to do anything to make that happen, Samaritan is a great place to begin your new journey. The food is amazing as well. Mrs. Angelia and cooking staff are top notch. The spread daily is over the top and delicious. The opposite of what I ate on the streets, if I ate at all. Good people, good places, helped save my life.

One of the best experiences I had was at Samaritan. Mr. Tim was director then and the staff was like family and the counselor were understanding and very helpful to your needs. The new building looks like things have improved I just hope they don't take away the lil park and the gazebo. I touched and prayed and sang with and for alot of people in that Peace Park.
