Steps has been an amazing residential program i spent 50 days working on myself. The staff and my therapist Chell was amazing. They are family for life. Highly reccomend. .

Honestly a absolutely fantastic experience, a great supportive staff and very knowledgeable therapist. The clients and group dynamics are amazing and make you feel like you are heard and able to open up and be yourself. Thank you for everything you have done for me.

I have stuck through this place literally since Covid hit. March 2020. It's gotten alot better then it was. In fact I am updating my review because they ve moved and the new place is beautiful and very private! It s so clean and welcoming. I love the staff! So so much. I am sad Mark wasn t able to stay but I love Lisa and Rob and all the nurses. I am thankful that I never gave up on them!!!

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! It's the staff that makes this clinic the place that saves more lives than the hospital across the street. Mark (to me, He is the manager holding it all together. He will direct you where to go what to do. (Mark is the GO TO man). Lisa works so hard & handles all the financial aspects of the operation. Talk to her she will find a plan that works for you. So don't let $ stop you from coming in. Lisa will fix it. Brenda and all the nurses that dispense our meds with a smile and genuine care will make your day. The nurses truly are like ur mom, with REAL concern REAL care and encouragement. Robert /counselor best I've ever had the privilege of meeting. This place these people will change your life. THEY ARE THE OPIOID ADDICTION CURE!!!

These guys have saved my life.

We were very fortunate to have found Forte Strong for our son when he was struggling to find his place in the world. He had enrolled in college for one semester, and it just wasn't for him. This left him a bit lost and unsure of what to do next. Also, it seemed Covid played a part of his disenfranchisement, and set him (and us) on a path which was not heading in a clear direction. We had definitely somehow failed to provide clear consequences for him and he didn't seem to know how to engage in the world around him in a healthy and positive way. On top of that, he had also always struggled with executive functioning challenges. The staff and well-defined program at Forte Strong worked wonders. The male only program gave him a sense of fraternity which he needed, and the therapists and coaches, as well as Brook Price, the Program Director, were strong advocates and models for engaging in life and moving into an active role in his own story. The program is very structured with clear consequences for following the steps toward overcoming executive functioning issues and getting on track to creating a independent life. I would highly recommend this program to any young man facing similar challenges.I would like to shout out to Brook Price, the Program Director, who was always patiently available for a phone call--sometimes an hour long or more--when our son was having issues within the program. He is compassionate, positive and amazingly patient with us as we worked to renegotiate our approach to our son. Also, the coaches, Elliot Spaulding and Kimball Coffin, were particularly present and available when our son needed it. And at the end, Mikey Smith, was so caring and available, too. The whole staff is truly amazing, caring and available when the young men need it.

Attending Forte Strong has been one of the most impactful decisions of my life. When I first decided to come here, I was initially skeptical of the therapy aspect of the program, due to my less-than-satisfactory prior experiences with therapists. However, as I got settled in, I discovered that the sort of treatment provided at Forte was exactly what I needed.I particularly enjoyed learning wilderness skills and going on hikes with Coach Kimball. St. George is a very beautiful area, and, while very different from the PNW, full of natural beauty. One of my favorite memories is going on the Man vs. Wild camping trip, and all the goofy shenanigans that we got up to. (Cruds! Cruds! Cruds!)The biggest obstacle I had to deal with was getting mobile. Before I came to Forte, I didn t even know how to ride a bicycle, which made for a difficult start on my scooter. I kept at it, though, and didn t let my failures discourage me. It took me six months to get my keys, but that just made it all the sweeter once I finally got them.Socializing with the other students helped me really come into my own. I ve never been a particularly social person, so having to live with a bunch of other guys was a bit of a shake-up as far as my usual routine. That said, I met some of my best friends at Forte, and the relationships I ve forged have helped me gain confidence.The coaches genuinely care about their students, and I feel comfortable counting them amongst the friends I ve made at Forte. I appreciate the hard work they put in to make everything run, and applaud their ability to bring out the best in their students.I m proud to have graduated, happy that this program exists for people like me, and hopeful that more young men will benefit from Forte the way I have.

Forte was a good stepping stone to getting out on my own. I would recommend it. Not a bad town to be in either

I absolutely love it down here I m along way from my hometown in Ogden that they are helping me taking the steps to relocate to St. George.. I wasn t accepted to my sober living In park city and had 3 days to find another one and they helped me make the change in a matter of two hours.. everyone that works here is amazing they go above and beyond to fulfill your needs. I wish I would have went to residential here over wasatch crest.. they give me the hope to stay clean and look at living a positive sober life I deserve. Bree is amazing!!

When I sent my Godson to Liahona Academy, it was the hardest decision that I ever made. He has recently graduated, and I now know that it was also the best decision that I ever made. He struggled in the beginning, but once he finally understood that I only wanted him to become a better person, he started making changes. He is now ahead in school, has great grades, and an excellent relationship with anyone that he wants to have a relationship with. I can guarantee that if you sent your son here and you give him time to figure it out, he eventually will, and you will never regret your decision. My Godson came out of Liahona academy as a completely transformed man.He was a child with all kinds of manipulative techniques . Now he is a reborn man, a man who is honest and sincere, a man who you can count on to be a positive leader and have a great attitude.I am grateful for all the staff at Liahona academy, and especially for his therapist Benjamin Haslam, the program director, Richard May, and the case manager, Beverly Carayas.THANK YOU

I was sent to Liahona Academy on September 20, 2019. I graduated on May 7, 2021. This placed changed my life. If I was not sent here, I would be either dead, homeless, or in jail. I was skipping school nearly every day and my grades were terrible. My relationship with my parents was terrible. I was smoking weed almost every day. I dreaded every aspect of my life. Now, I am a year ahead of my regular grade, with a GPA of 3.78. My relationship with my parents is fantastic. I don t ever want to go back to my old life. I love this new life. I recommend that any parent who is struggling with their teen to send them here. It will be a very hard decision, but I can 100% guarantee that it will be worth it.Haris Husetic

Liahona was our last hope and nothing short of a miracle for saving my son s life. The Liahona approach allows customized care based on timing of each boy s willingness to embrace the opportunity for real, lasting change. The Owner Clay along with Rich, Bear and Beverly were wonderful to work with! The Liahona Virgin campus team have built an amazing program with a successful track record and long-term results at treating the whole person, not just the symptoms of bad behavior/substance abuse, but dares to dig deeper uncovering root causes of the problems. My son was a complex case as he exhibited erratic and dangerous behavior along with lingering effects of substance abuse which could have ended his life on multiple occasions prior to admittance. The highly-structured environment with set wake and lights-out times, allows the boys to get into a healthy, balanced and predictable schedule resulting in a solid foundation to become the best versions of themselves and make the most of the program. The well-regulated agenda culminates dependable sleep patterns, individual and group therapy, chores, healthy and consistent meals, with time built-in for exercise, school, homework, faith (of any kind or none at all), personal growth, journaling and reading. Based on progress, working the program and meeting milestones, the boys can earn group outings that may include volunteering a chance to give back to the community, or a fun outing like bowling, hiking or trip to the lake, etc. The staff at the Virgin facility were simply amazing! I can t thank Rich (Program Director) and Bear (our son s Therapist) enough for their vision and lead by example approach to earn credibility, respect and have such a positive power of influence over the most challenging of behaviors. Bear was very honest that our son was one of the more complex cases he had seen and that he wasn t sure if Liahona would be the best fit for him. Bear was absolutely remarkable in treating my son, from day 1, as a fully 100% capable individual and he saw through the faade of substance psychosis, anger, low self-esteem, manipulative and self-centered behavior. The value of the Liahona program incorporates a loving and supportive environment, patiently allowing each boy to come to their own realization and choose to begin the journey-cycle of initiating progress, resulting in gaining confidence, motivating them to work harder, embracing the courage to face adversity and proving to themselves they are capable of setting goals and exceeding expectations. The Liahona program results in building confidence, fueling motivation for more continued growth and is the recipe for achieving not only success in Liahona but prepares each boy for a successful life outside of Liahona in the real world. My son entered Liahona as a troubled boy and graduated the program as a confident young man, eager to work hard, face adversity, exceed every goal placed in front of him, fully equipped with the knowledge and desire to help others along the way. We couldn t be more proud and are forever grateful to the incredible staff and program at Liahona for doing God s work here on earth!
