We were on a road trip and my son was having a stressful moment. He reached out to Four Corners Behavioral and they told us to stop in. We were seen immediately by the core team with warmth and care. two extremely pleasant women. gave me great assistance. unfortunately they were not the therapists or counselors they were the receptionists the office workers under the thumb of office manager. I am one of the top Google reviews in the United States. anytime you see a rating with five stars and one Stars apparently this place has none or they do they're not showing them of 2,3 and 4. why is that you should ask yourself. typically it means. there was an initial contact bid a product or some type of service were they treated the person extremely nicely in the sales world it's called" hooking the fish"once you have the fish on the hook you reel them in. in business it's called cashing in perfect example is the wheelchair business one of the most corrupt of all. ask yourself where did the one stars come from. could it possibly be that once the fish was fried and eaten they gave the rest to the garbage bag. the garbage bag that's called the customer care department. cell phone companies famous for it. so I gave five stars for those that did five star work but I give one star to others there who are fraudulent and fake with" know it all" attitudes...........signed the whistleblower.( you know, the one sent in to see if the business is behaving properly.)best wishes to all...even the scammers there milking Medicaid.

I had the opportunity to attend Juniper Canyon when I was struggling with addiction and mental health challenges, and it was truly a lifechanging experience. This program is unlike any traditional treatment center. It pushed me in ways I had never experienced before, and because of that, I was able to face feelings and emotions that I had always managed to hide in other programs. Juniper Canyon created a safe and supportive environment where I could begin working through things that had been buried for a long time. Even though I wasn’t able to complete the entire program, the staff made sure I was cared for. They didn’t just let me go or leave me hanging they went above and beyond to transition me safely and lovingly into another program because of some personal things I was going through. They took the time and effort, even over several days, to make sure I got where I needed to be. I also continue to stay connected by showing up to alumni events, which have given me opportunities I never imagined like canyoneering, rock climbing, skiing, and building lifelong connections with amazing people after treatment. It was truly the beginning of a lifelong transition and recovery for me, and I am deeply grateful for what I learned and experienced at Juniper Canyon. It was one of the first places that truly challenged me while also showing me compassion and care. It was the stepping stone that I needed at that time

Juniper Canyon changed my life. I was a client 3 years ago; a girl who felt broken, with no purpose or direction in life, and no will to live. I found myself in the deserts and felt the magic of this program in every fiber of my being. I love being alive and calling myself a child of this land. I owe it all to my guides, therapists, and all clinical staff. The impact was so great that I am now a guide walking with others in their process!

I have been going to this clinic for awhile now. You get out of it what you put Into it. I personally don't have any support system or family to help me with anything but Tara at New Season's has been amazing. You can tell she really really cares about her clients and definitely goes above and beyond to try to help in anyway she can. I don't think I'd still be going if it wasn't for her and now I don't feel so lost and alone either. They have made alot of changes there I believe people should give this place a try now if they've gone there before and had a negative experience.

This Clinic has changed my life. Both my Husband & myself have been clean for almost 4 years. We couldn't have done it without New Seasons. I've been coming to this clinic for over 3yrs now. When I first came I was pregnant and scared, almost losing my babies. 😞 Thank god we never did tho!! It took me a min to accept the fact that I actually did need help, but once I did start helping myself, and being present for my kids, and holding myself accountable, new seasons was there as well. It took me 3 counselors to get in with the right one, and I absolutely LOVE Julie ❤️ she's a good one 😉 "The trick" to actually liking the clinic, is truly wanting to do better and than DOING IT! Because in the end its YOUR recovery that should matter to YOU. It is a safe place to work on sobriety and yourself. The meds help, but make sure to take them correctly or else you may feel withdraws and in my experience it's worse than regular withdraws. And IF you do happen to relapse, they help you thru it and not "condem" you. I've recommended a few friends to the clinic and it makes me feel good seeing them better themselves! Knowing that I helped in a way 😉 PS. I miss Trudy, Mary, and Joann 🤪

Matr isnt a ordinary rehab program ..although 12 step program is in the curriculum it is a small portion of the rehabilitation process ...the staff and counselors have all been patients or in recovery themselves. When first walking thru the door u feel as if u just got to ur favorite aunt or relatives house u would visit yearly..you know the ones who never judged u but always made sure u knew when u were *€!@&÷? Up and gave u wisdom and advice to get thru it..jeanie is the sweetest REALEST people ive ever met..no matter the issue if ur genuine and u give 116% she will have ur back and shes saved alot of lives .kept alot of people from dying ,and serving life sentences in prison.shes known world wide and people listen when she speaks..hasnt been like that always if u know her story.but she spoke up for recovery addiction and other important issues and has gotten alot of laws and bills passed.you work with horses the environment is beautiful..not to mention the mind body and soul work ..its amazing what you learn..this is where u want to be if you want to change ur life..and u can smoke cigarettes .lol..

Both of my children were adopted out of foster care and suffered early childhood trauma. This led to complicated attachment problems. My daughter in particular was at five different Residential programs prior to going to Sorenson Ranch. This program was by far the best program she attended. The Therapist and staff are very compassionate, and understand the complexities of attachment disorders. They provided the structure that my daughter needed to keep her safe and to help her develop skills to self regulate and manage her complicated emotional issues. I have to disagree with some of the latest post. I attended sorensons for a long period of time. Not only did I benefit from the expertise from the many qualified staff. I can tell you first hand that while I was there for 4 years, I did not experience any abuse. Quite the opposite actually, I finally found people who listened to me, people who showed me tough love. I truly believe that was the best thing to happen in my life and Im still in contact with the staff there and it’s been years. Alot of the staff there take a personal intrest in the students. I know I could call Grandma, Jill or Layne if I ever needed anything and they would help. All I can say some of the kids DONT want help.. or to change.. coming from a child whom suffered a lot of physical abuse before getting to the ranch, the consequences they issued like mucking stalls and doing workouts built my character and weren’t abusive, and I’m beyond grateful for this place.

After a hard decision, I sent my son to SRS in 2020, 4 years ago. It changed his life for the better. It took him 2 years, but he did it. Was he 100% different, no, probably 80%, it's a work in progress. Your entire life you will work on your skills with your mental illness and behaviors, but he definitely came home so much better then when he left our family. Life was so much better, and we were able to have a relationship that we haven't had before and the sibling were too. The therapist was fantastic. He even did family therapy with one of the siblings at home that was having the most trouble with my son. He had a genuine interest in the entire family and having them be able to all work together. The entire staff at Sorenson's was wonderful and caring. His case manager would call weekly and update me with what was going on. They made sure he always had doctor and dentist appointments made when needed. If he was ever hurt, they would notify me and take him to the doctors. His favorite things were the campouts and the horses. Yes, you did have to earn them through your levels, which meant you needed to do your work and stay on task with your program. And if you weren't or got in trouble, you lost your points, and you started working on yourself again to earn them back. Things are a privilege and you learn that and you work for them. Yes there we're some people that may have been rougher than they needed to be with the kids but the kids figured out, don't misbehave, Get yourself in gear. My son made great friends while he was there. He even moved back and went to college in the area and was room mates with one of them. He also went back and wanted to work there to help the kids out, but wasn't old enough. Unfortunately almost a year after he graduated he was killed in a car accident. Some of the boys (friends) from the school came to his service, I didn't even know about them, and they shared wonderful stories about their experiences at the school with me. Some of them check in with me online just to see how I'm doing. There's a lot more good things that came out of the school then bad I can say. I highly recommend Sorensons Ranch School.

I was nervous to go here because of the reviews. But once I did, I did NOT regret it. The ladies at the desk were super nice and patient when the need for rescheduling or anything else arose. I’m sure that people can find fault with any agency, especially in a the critical area of mental health. People are bound to run across situations where decisions don’t go their way, and then blame and finger pointing follow. I can say this from my personal experience: the owner, Marty Amos, has a true heart for the down and out. She has done evrything she can to make mental health services available and affordable. Comments that she abuses this are the result of either misinformation or dissatisfied clients. Many of these are people who ask or demand that Amos Counseling and its staff provide services that they cannot do. Amos staff are held to a strict ethical code, and going beyond that has severe consequences. And then there are the ridiculous comments like “Amos Counseling bills people to use the bathroom.” Really? The truth is that they go out of their way so clients get help with little or no out of pocket expenses. Then there are the comments about how rude the staff are. Since I have never experienced this (the staff have always been exceptionally kind and caring to me), I have to ask, “If you were treated rudely, how rude were you being beforehand?” Let’s look at the facts: food for the community is kept at the office, establishing a hangout and shelter for the needy and homeless, several homes to treat those recovering from addiction and giving them a place to live, an annual Christmas program to provide gift packages to needy families. I could go on and on. If you are against these things, I don’t know what to say. No one is perfect, but I give Amos a 5.0 rating for their heart.

I went here over a decade ago - it taught me emotional literacy, gave me a love of nature, reset my relationship with my parents, and set me back on the right path for college. Many people think negatively of these programs (like the other review). It’s hard for someone under 18 to get sent away from home, there’s no way around that. But I never had any negative experience with second nature, actually I have a lot of fond memories. Thanksgiving and Christmas special meals. Amazing campsites. Training to make a fire with sticks/busting an ember. Mentoring newer group members. Seeing the Milky Way at night. No one ever abused me physically or emotionally. The field staff was kind and respectful. The other reviewer calling this place a “concentration camp” is being majorly disrespectful to the people who went to actual concentration camps. My experience was not even remotely close to that.

This place is by far and I mean by far the place you send your child when as a parent you have become so self absorbed with yourself, your money or your own life when your child doesn't conform to your lifestyle and has become a liabilty to you, also when you can manipulate the court system to show your hatred of the person you decided to have the child with and decide to send them to this out in the middle of nowhere godforsaken facility. When you send your son to this facilty you can guarantee that he will be surrounded by adults that have no caring or show the least of compassion to your son and if by chance the child has some type of a learning issue you have not found the right individuals to help your child, however large or small that is. This place isnt cheap either, so what the need for such large sums of money that is payed for being that there is no place to spend it, is confusing So lest be known to all that when you send your child here he will be bullied and surrounded by predators (other students), and you have failed as a parent.....and more than likely your child will see as they grow older the same uncaring coldness that you had when you sent your child here...
