Took my first grippy sock vacation here today. It was very nice. The crisis stabilization unit let me keep my phone, and you're allowed to come and go as you wish, which was encouraging. They were very kind to me during my stay and accommodated a few special needs I had. I am glad that I went, and I would recommend the CSU on Hayes Dr in Manhattan to anyone feeling in crisis, hopeless, or wanting to not exist.

My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

When you are ready, you are ready. I did three rehabs in the span of three summers and I’ve been sober a year and a half since going to the Independence Center.
The ENTIRE staff wass genuinely interested in my recovery. Of course it’s up to me how honest I want to be with my counselor, Chaplin and myself (and God), but their unwavering encouragement doesn’t hurt and it didn’t. The facility is much better than others I’ve been to in Nebraska and they keep the distracting extracurricular horseplay to minimum. They have a great culture and alumni in the A.A. and Lincoln communities.

That place helps save my life. All the counselors were amazing. The nurses were very knowledgeable and caring. the kitchen. Staff is awesome. They encourage me to get a sponsor to work the 12 steps. Which is very, very important in recovery.VH wanted me to call other sober people daily, That’s funny encourage me to do the same thing. Encourage me to get involved with the fellowship and my sponsor deal also. The facilities were very nice chocolate milk, 24 seven, Pickle ball, And places just to sit and have a fellowship with other people. And I used to chapel. I would definitely recommend Valley Hope to anybody looking for a safe , world class staff , To help them start A Journey to long-term recovery.

I was taken to the ER by my boss when I started having trouble talking at work. Unfortunately it was a busy morning at the ER and I had to wait over half an hour to be taken back and examined. When a CT scan revealed blood on my brain they transferred me to Bryan West where the trauma unit is located. I was seen by many specialists. I was recently hospitalized for a relatively minor medical condition. The company I work for has an arduous process for returning to work after being laid off for medical reasons.
I desperately needed to be seen on short notice so that I could return to work. The staff at the Lincoln V.A. worked with me diligently. My primary care physician, Sasha Grantski, went above and beyond her normal duties to "squeeze" me in for an appointment.

I've tried a few methadone clinics, this one is the best I've seen. They do have a few rules that seem rather stupid, but they have gov oversight, so ya have to deal with that kind of BS anywhere you go. They are definitely the nicest and the friendliest out of all the ones T have been to.
Update... the staff that you interact with i.e. the counclers and the nurses are definitely very nice and appear to be honestly intrested in the clients wellbeing, however it took a few months...like 6 or 8 months for the office staff to get my VA insurance worked out and I had to pay cash in the meantime. That was over 2 years ago and they still have not re-embersed a single Penney however I verified with the Va the were paid twice once by me and once by the Va. Should be a law against that sort of thing. I believe it is called fraudulent billing.... If they end up owning you money don't expect to see it soon...however if you owe them and can not pay the will start detoxing you, they did to me when I told them I get paid in 3 days ... they detoxed me for those 3 days. Good luck if you have no other options.

Great place. Great counclers. Clean. They have clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. They have the new check in mobile system so it saves your spot in line. They are fair. Some of the rules are a little silky but they don't set those, Corporate does. So it's not the staffs fault at this location. They probably saved my life. The doctors is very helpful and understanding. She listens. The nurse is a godsend. And the counclers are top of the line.

Since day one Blue Valley has been a Godsend! I was at my rock bottom and couldnt have asked for a better referral. I highly advocate now to all my frienda and family. But honestly ask for Jen shes my favorite ❤️ my youngest daughter has also seen Jen and is now seeing Michelle. And she was so excited after her last therapy appt she is excited to come back. Amazing place for long term treatment, caring and passionate residential managers. The staff at the pmc house are awesome, it’s a very positive environment for the mother and child to grow and learn together. I absolutely loved my experience at st Monica’s.managed to stay clean for eights months while there and plan on stay clean for more to come.

I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. In fact I recall a conversation with Nick asking if I could stay for another 30 days. Thank you Mirror Topeka for saving my life.
