Thursday night meetings have been a real pleasure. the classes are very educational and help with ways to improve your life. Dr. Petunia Monchusie is an angel who genuinely cares about everyone she reaches.
It is great everyone is nice and helpful case managers are great the marketing and development director is great the stars camp staff are great and anyone who is lying I dislike you and also i have been going for years i would give 10000 stares if possible

Took my first grippy sock vacation here today. It was very nice. The crisis stabilization unit let me keep my phone, and you're allowed to come and go as you wish, which was encouraging. They were very kind to me during my stay and accommodated a few special needs I had. I am glad that I went, and I would recommend the CSU on Hayes Dr in Manhattan to anyone feeling in crisis, hopeless, or wanting to not exist.

Best treatment facility in Lincoln, I've been there 2x and I have very close friends & family that have been in recovery since they completed treatment there. I wish they took medicare or medicaid though...

My husband went through the independence center over 30 years ago. He did relapse after the first 3 months but he did not attend any aftercare or AA. Within a year he started going to AA and has been sober for almost 35 years. My son has also been through the independence center twice with varied success. He has had relapses but maintained sobriety for the majority of the time. He has used the tools he learned there to get sober again after relapsing without having to reenter treatment. The program will work for you if your honest with yourself and do the work. Good luck and god bless!

When you are ready, you are ready. I did three rehabs in the span of three summers and I’ve been sober a year and a half since going to the Independence Center.
The ENTIRE staff wass genuinely interested in my recovery. Of course it’s up to me how honest I want to be with my counselor, Chaplin and myself (and God), but their unwavering encouragement doesn’t hurt and it didn’t. The facility is much better than others I’ve been to in Nebraska and they keep the distracting extracurricular horseplay to minimum. They have a great culture and alumni in the A.A. and Lincoln communities.
Not gonna lie, these folks save lives. Their experience shows through their authenticity, understanding, and most of all, they really care about every single person who has the courage to walk through the door. The nurses, chaplains, psychiatrist, small group leaders, counselors, admins, kitchen staff, housekeeping provide wrap around care like you’ve never seen. You may have never felt so safe and supported. In a word, “phenomenal”.

Love the staff the food and pretty much everything they have to offer. A special show out to my Councilor and my Chaplain. Pay attention and go to class. Lots of can't miss education.
I had a mild stroke. From the moment I arrived I was given excellent care. All Doctors, nurses and staff were attentive and communicated effectively about the procedures. They were great, and I am grateful.

Pine Lake Behavioral Health is the best clinic I have ever been to. I've been to other clinics in the past and consulted with various psychiatrists, but none compare to the experience here.
Jessica is the most outstanding psychiatrist I've ever had; she truly listens to your concerns and cares deeply about your wellbeing, offering the best care and treatment options available.

I am the child of two parents who met at an AA meeting over thirty years ago. My mom and dad split when I was little because my dad was unable to defeat his demons. When I was 9 he overdosed for the final time on heroin. The last time I saw him was in prison. I’ve spent most of my twenties filling that emptiness with different substances such as alcohol, weed, painkillers, adderall, and most recently kratom. My substance abuse was destroying my relationship with my family.
I’ve always reached to something hoping to numb the pain of my reality, but currently I’m reaching for a different sort of healing. I’ve been blessed to have been put into Jason’s group. I am attending meetings three days a week and still struggle in my day to day, but I have learned that it’s okay not to always feel okay. Becoming sober has been one of the hardest things I have ever done, but the positives far outweigh the negatives. My performance at work has improved, my friendships are getting better, and I am learning to love myself. My biggest motivation to get healthy is my beautiful family. They deserve a father they can be proud of and I will continue with the program until I know I can trust myself to continue on my own.
Everyday presents its own challenges, but it is good knowing that there are people like Jason who care about what happens to me. He challenges the way I think and is one of the main reasons I decided to stick it out with the program. He is truly someone who practices what he preaches, and there is a part of me that doesn’t want to let him down.
If you have fallen victim to addiction, I promise that if you give valley hope a chance and buy into the program that you will start to like the person you see in the mirror again. I’ve hated myself for most of my life and have attempted suicide multiple times. For the first time in a long time I feel as though i can see a light at the end of the tunnel. For so long it was only darkness. I always wore a mask in public that was hiding the pain I felt in my heart. I am thankful my wife pushed me towards this program and I really want to continue towards being able to control my life and my impulses. My children deserve to have the father that I was never afforded. I don’t trust many people, but Jason has earned my respect and is ultimately why I decided to continue. I believe with his guidance and the program that valley hope provides that I will be able to stay on the path towards a better and fulfilling life. I’m not perfect and it’s possible I will make mistakes along the road to sobriety, but I do know that I will never let substances control my life again. I truly believe that. It’s okay to ask for help sometimes. Find your reason and realize that we have but one life in this beautiful world. Don’t continue to let those precious moments be stolen by a substance. Happiness comes from within, not from a bottle. If your reading this, know that there is always time to change the path. It isn’t an easy way to travel, but I have to believe that it is worth it. I’m gonna keep working towards long term sobriety for the sake of my family but also for the sake of my soul. Thank you Valley Hope

I was recently hospitalized for a relatively minor medical condition. The company I work for has an arduous process for returning to work after being laid off for medical reasons.
I desperately needed to be seen on short notice so that I could return to work. The staff at the Lincoln V.A. worked with me diligently. My primary care physician, Sasha Grantski, went above and beyond her normal duties to "squeeze" me in for an appointment.
Thanks to her and the Lincoln V.A. staff, I am back to work. I am extremely grateful.

Amazing experience and truely unconditional love and a genuine willingness to help others in need, great facility.
I’ve been a patient here since 2016. My life is completely different and will continue to be thanks to the offering of medication assisted sobriety. The number one priority is you communicate with your counselor and the Doctor. Once you reach the dose your body needs the real changes begin. No more will you have to just get through the day because you’re sick or spend your entire paycheck to try and get enough to get through another week. The staff is made up of angels. Everyone is there to help us get better and live better. If you’re sick of being sick give the program a try. They only requirements are the desire for a better life and to stop abusing.
I’ve been coming here for almost 4 years. It’s helped me so much, it’s a clean and well maintained establishment , the staff is amazing and nonjudgmental. Wouldn’t pick any other place, highly recommend.

I've tried a few methadone clinics, this one is the best I've seen. They do have a few rules that seem rather stupid, but they have gov oversight, so ya have to deal with that kind of BS anywhere you go. They are definitely the nicest and the friendliest out of all the ones T have been to.
Update... the staff that you interact with i.e. the counclers and the nurses are definitely very nice and appear to be honestly intrested in the clients wellbeing, however it took a few months...like 6 or 8 months for the office staff to get my VA insurance worked out and I had to pay cash in the meantime. That was over 2 years ago and they still have not re-embersed a single Penney however I verified with the Va the were paid twice once by me and once by the Va. Should be a law against that sort of thing. I believe it is called fraudulent billing.... If they end up owning you money don't expect to see it soon...however if you owe them and can not pay the will start detoxing you, they did to me when I told them I get paid in 3 days ... they detoxed me for those 3 days. Good luck if you have no other options.

Great place. Great counclers. Clean. They have clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff. They have the new check in mobile system so it saves your spot in line. They are fair. Some of the rules are a little silky but they don't set those, Corporate does. So it's not the staffs fault at this location. They probably saved my life. The doctors is very helpful and understanding. She listens. The nurse is a godsend. And the counclers are top of the line.
You never wait long after checking in, they're super cool about working with you to pay off your balance, and Sarah has been pretty awesome to talk to so far and has helped me build some confidence.

Since day one Blue Valley has been a Godsend! I was at my rock bottom and couldnt have asked for a better referral. I highly advocate now to all my frienda and family. Seeing a therapist isnt just for those that are in a slump its honestly a place to escape and just talk. My therapist, Jen is absolutely the sweetest most gentle, kind and amazing listener. She has genuinely heard me rant, we also share stories about family.. she is a true angel in my book.im forever grateful for her in my healing process. My kids all want to come just because they have seen how much it has changed me for the better of the healing process. I'm more open now with my loved ones and even friends and neighbors. I now advocate for mental health awareness, don't wait til it's too late...go and see any of these theraapists at Blue valley in wahoo. But honestly ask for Jen shes my favorite ❤️ my youngest daughter has also seen Jen and is now seeing Michelle. And she was so excited after her last therapy appt she is excited to come back. I encourage it to be a safe place to just talk about anything that they don't want to talk to anyone else about. Its a safe space.

I've been to The Bridge on more than one occasion, graduating once as well. Game-changer. They truly care about your plan going forward after as well. In comparison to other treatment centers I've been to, I was most impressed with The Bridge. Anyone truly looking to change one's life for the better, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is massively underfunded. If you know a politician or someone with influence, please tell them to do more for this place. Not the staff's fault at all. They cooked our food, they cleaned at night. All I had to do was exist and fix myself. Trish admitted me and assured me that this was the right thing to do. She was the first person I met and she was perfect for the job. She was so hard working that day, putting out fires all over and never even came close to losing her temper. Next the nurse pulled me in. I can't remember her name and I feel terrible for that. But this woman didn't have to listen to my sob story. She listened for almost 40 minutes. I was really going through it, and I just needed someone to listen. She assured me I seemed like a good person and that was all I ever needed to hear. Thank you. Then my counselor, Syra. This woman was born to do this job. What an amazing soul. She cut right through and knew exactly what I needed. Coping skills, trigger spotting, help with trauma. She's the best. If she was doing freelance, I would go straight to her. I think the Bridge has her though. Thank you guys. I will tell everyone. You guys are the best. I will make you proud that you do your job.

I went to the Bridge in January, lost, suicidal and got admitted to respite. I then went to treatment there. Where I was able to deal with past trauma, mental health and drug addiction. With the help of staff and other clients I was able to turn things around. Great program I recommend to anyone who wants the help. They saved my life.
First Step at Lakeview is an amazing place to go. The staff is absolutely amazing, you have Ashley Brett and Jan who go above and beyond what they need to to make us feel comfortable and at home. My experience was personable because of them and I really can't thank them enough.

Amazing place for long term treatment, caring and passionate residential managers. The staff at the pmc house are awesome, it’s a very positive environment for the mother and child to grow and learn together. I absolutely loved my experience at st Monica’s.managed to stay clean for eights months while there and plan on stay clean for more to come.

I had the best experience at Blue Valley. The staff is amazing and has always stuck by me...even when I was going through horrible times. Without Blue Valley's staff and Tonya, I would not have 16 months of sobriety, the first time in my life!!! I couldn't have made it. Blue Valley is definitely the place to go if you need help!!

This is a good option if you need help with addiction recovery. My feedback about the 28 day program is that this is a serious, vigorous road to get better.
Mirror also guides clients on to the next step, which is often an Oxford House or other sober living plan. They'll help with vocational rehab and making contacts in the community-like churches and alumni willing to help.
My counselor Jamie is the best but all the staff are devoted to clients.
The other clients in recovery will be all sorts with different backgrounds. You will make friends with as many or as few sober people as you like! Family and friends visitation is once a week. An optional 2 mile jog and weights are available for exercise. The food is plentiful and you will have a chore. Chores are.loke helping in the kitchen or mopping floors, etc.
Call ahead for a bed as there is sometimes a wait-list.
Don't expect easy and fun, and expect lots of AA/NA meetings. But there's plenty of downtime for TV, reading and an occasional nap.
This and Velejo are probably your best 2 options for addiction recovery in Topeka.

I came in from Leavenworth having never been to treatment before & unsure of what to expect. In the first 5 minutes of arrival I was met by Nick & Gordon who (along with the other amazing staff) helped guide me through my recovery journey. I felt like I was in the right place immediately. All of the staff were ex-addicts who knew exactly what I was going through & showed me the tools I could use to stay sober. 11+ months sober & I love my life! Not a day goes by that I don't think about my time there & how they helped me and so many others. I love EVERYTHING about my time there. In fact I recall a conversation with Nick asking if I could stay for another 30 days. Thank you Mirror Topeka for saving my life.

Honest review here, and I just want to give brief explanations of the waiting time is very long. This hospital seems to be short staffed way too often, visiting my Aunt who was having surgery. I mean sometimes staff can be fed up, but they still do their jobs which is good. Only think stopping me from rating 3 stars is because of how nice one staff in the kitchen is, and don’t get my wrong all of them are kind. This lady I’m not sure, but her name is gada don’t know if I missed spelled it. She is very nice I mean she does great! Her good energy made the visit a bit better knowing the food was always better then I expected, and the lady made it on the grill right in front of me, I don’t want to sound like I’m giving this person glory. I really don’t know her but she deserves the praise because of her kindness and delicious cooking.
