I have been a professional interventionist since 2010. I was introduced to this program in 2012. I have been referring there since then. My clients have always had a positive experience and the clinical and support staff are the most responsive and knowledgeable. They want what’s best for the client and the family and have long term options. They do very well young adult males and most recently I referred a 69 year old man first time treatment. It was a family member and he’s doing very well and committed to 90 days of treatment. I can’t thank the clinical staff and administrators enough for the program they have created. I am so grateful for this place and the wonderful staff! I have been going here for 7 years and have remain SOBER for every single day since I first stepped foot in the building. The Baton Rouge comprehensive Treatment Center has saved my life! The nurses, counselors, and other staff, are always so kind. They genuinely make you feel important here. Of course everything has its negatives, but the good completely outweighs the bad. I recommend this treatment center to anyone who is battling addiction to opioids. You don't have to do it alone! They lie and play too many games! They had me to get my daughter up early to be picked up with their transportation and no one showed up! On another occasion I spoke to a young lady named Kayla or Kaylar and she told me someone would pick her up on Thursday morning! After confirming our address, no one showed up on Thursday to get her after I called numerous times and was told a driver was on the way! I called back at 10 am, to see why no one came after we had been waiting 3 hours for her to be picked up and I was told that they went to an old address we used to live at for her to be picked up! I asked the lady Kayla how would they end up at an old address when she confirmed the address with me, and they have picked her up several times at this location? It doesn't make sense! This place used to be great, but now there are people that are there that don't care about the people there with these disability challenges! It's nothing more than a paycheck to them! The drivers or the other staff members could care less about how this program is being run! This is the stuff Gov. Jeff Landry needs to focus more on, getting places like this staffed with people who actually cares!

As with anything in life you ONLY get what YOU put into something, including mental health. I WAS skeptical about embarking on this with Beacon only because my inpatient stay many years ago with them was forced. Everyone that I have encountered in my 3 day a week day program has changed my perspective. From Mrs. Lisa, Alyssa all the way through Ms. Jessie and Patricia. I'm enjoying my days a lot more.

Wait times to get appointments aren’t the greatest, but hey that’s the VA for you. Besides that I’ve never had a bad experience in 1 1/2 years of going here for all my health needs. Everyone is very nice and respectful, constantly checking in to see if you need anything.

All involved with the bone marrow bi-opsy were considerate and helpful to make it a comfortable experience. Main problem was parking for the procedure was not helpful for us since my wife uses a walker. She drives well but the walking was the problem.

Staff are good, beds are alright but need improvement, and over all the place is fine but I think the staff deserve better pay since I saw what they have to handle there and I know how medical facilities pay their staff sometimes and the things the staff have to deal with here warrants a increase in their pay for what they deal with

Powerhouse was a great experience. It helped me to be grateful for everything I have in my life. I was given an amazing opportunity to practice the principles I learned in my inpatient program. I was given opportunities to help others and bond with fellow patients. The staff are all Powerhouse alumni and are very passionate and knowledgeable about recovery. I am extremely fortunate to have gone through the Powerhouse program and absolutely recommend this facility to anyone struggling with addiction who is looking for a path to recovery.

I stayed at Pecan Haven for about a month and it was a crucial step in my recovery. The staff was friendly but serious with my recovery. The facility was really clean, and I enjoyed the extra amenities, like the pond that you could walk around.

We have a family member needing help the last 4 months and has finally been put in a hospital that wants to help. Third hospital and we finally have a diagnosis (thanks to St James) and a team of professionals that are dedicated to making sure patients receive the best care possible. We can finally sleep at night knowing our loved one is where she needs to be and the staff there is working hard to give her her life back. She will never be the same but that’s a good thing, her mind was torturing her and the staff there is teaching her how to live with her disease and prescribing the medicine that will help stabilize her. St James is the best place if you have any mental health issues, the absolute best.

I feel like there was lack of misinterpretation. upon my first visit i was told that i needed to complete a adhd evaluation test before i could get started on medication. i paid $250 out of pocket to do the online adhd screening test. Dr Judith Olson then proceeded to state that once she got my results back which would be a week that she would be reaching back out to me to either confirm that the test came back back positive or negative for adhd. it took almost 2wks for your someone at the front desk to reach back out to me (after i had been calling to confirm whether or not she received the results) only for her to refer me to counseling. i had them send my test results to me & they did confirm an adhd diagnosis but i guess she thinks that me talking about my situation with a counselor will help me focus better.

Woodlake changed my life. The staff there was very good to me and worked with me whenever I needed anything. Kevin James tells you exactly what you need to hear, and the people who can’t handle that sadly are probably just not ready to change their ways. Overall it was above average, however the front desk needs to be more friendly to.the client. The front desk comes across so what cold to clients. The front desk came across so what do what unprofessional, because she closed the slide window in middle sentence, when I spoke to her.
I enjoy speaking with NP because, she listens to.me. she have excellent knowledge of mental material plus I like that she years of experience on mental health. The only reason I did not you five stars, because of the front desk

On April 10th, I went to St. Charles Hospital to get an angiogram by Dr. Iftakhar( He's a great doctor). When I arrived, Lynette registered me into the hospital then Jodie, Shawn, Ashley and Courtney F. guided me through the procedure. This entire staff was friendly, courteous, and compassionate. I'd recommend this hospital to anyone!

I started going to Miracle place about two months ago and I haven't been the same since 🙃. I have since grown so much closer to god and have been surrounded by a real church family. The childlike feeling while serving christ really got deeper when I hit those double doors. This church really builds it's people for god in the best ways I never thought we're possible. First off I have been with SCLHSA for almost 2 decades now. Don't expect to see a doctor or counselor on the first visit or after the first phone call. I see a doctor, Dr Brice who is amazing and reads patient files and a counselor once a month. They can be overbooked and understaffed but do try to accommodate everyone. Yes I do have telehealth visits at the clinic as doctors are spread thin. I have never had any problems except for parking, which is no longer an issue, and people coming in thinking they can get seen right then and there with no consideration of others and yell at the workers who also have to worry about their own mental health.
