Resada is a great way to start your path to recovery I personally love it here, remember know matter where you go what you put in is what you get out. This rehab has an amazing way to make you feel better about finding yourself again. If you're going to complain about the things that you can't do there then you're there for all the wrong reasons. Remember you're there to work on you and learn ways to overcome what our addiction throws at us. Be 💯 and you'll get 💯. I joined the 30 day residential program at Resada and I am speechless of words to say as this facility was the best treatment center I could have attended, the staff is amazing, Veronica, Karma, Niko and Isaac did the above and beyond methods to make me as comfortable as possible and the most amazing role in my treatment to recovery, and everyone else follows along it is by far the #1 and I will recommend anyone and everyone I can that is seeking helping addiction. God puts us in places and in the paths of others for so many reasons and I can say I don't regret my addiction because he put me in Resada to meet so many others in the same situation and I wouldn't change it if I could. I give Resada 10 ⭐. Thank You Resada for helping me to my new life and journey of Recovery. Oh and the food is amazing Ms. Bonnie and her staff are the best.

I came across some of the most recent reviews today as I was looking up the website for contact information.
I wanted to post a review that is five stars because that is exactly what Fort Lyon deserves, not because it has five star amenities or because it is perfect, but because without this place I would probably be dead. I was a resident for nine months in 2023. I was in a hopeless state of mind, body, and spirit. After losing my professional career and everything else, I found myself moving here. Fort Lyon is a place where you can live safely, and focus on true recovery and healing. If that is what you want. To be completely transparent, most negative comments are from people who are not ready for what it takes to turn your life around. It is not fun and you don't normally get your way, but I learned that is LIFE. I gained back ALL I had lost and so much more. Thanks to God ultimately, but also to this place and a program I work everyday. I am now over three years sober from all substances, and if you knew my entire story you would agree it is a miracle. Fort Lyon does not hand you recovery, but it provides all the tools you need to get it for yourself. Much thanks to all the staff, especially Sabrina, Tosha, Laura, Randy, and Lisa T.

Going in I was skeptical. The VA gets a bad rap. After getting the physical and paperwork the nurse came to the waiting room, sat down and explained the results. My private doctor does not do this. Appointments made and taken care of in a very timely manor. I was pretty impressed with the VA and this location.

Not perfect, but its clean and medical appointments are easy to come by. Mental health is a little harder to get the apts you want, but they're always available by phone. Small, but very clean and staff is extremely nice.

I have had an amazing experience at Peer House in La Junta! I love the interaction and help that they provide. They find info if they don't know the answer, are kind and caring as well as uplifting, smiles, welcoming, and enforcing the rules. Enrique was the first I spoke to. I'll never forget how compassionate and understanding he was. He also called me to try to get me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. I see Katelynn (I'm terrible at names and probably misspelled her name, 😐)
She is Wonderful. Very empathic, compassionate and such a good listener.
I know I haven't been easy to deal with. I'm not having an easy time dealing with me and everything around me.. but Katelynn is helping me.
For everyone that I've encountered there, they have been so very nice to me. Even when I wasn't being so nice to be around.
For me, this place, Enrique, Katelynn and the rest of the people I've encountered, has been a Godsend.

I've been to three other inpatient rehabs before this one and two PHP and IOP programs. No other one I've been to comes close to offering what PLR does. All of the staff is phenomenal, the therapists are amazing, the grounds are beautiful, food is great, and the degree of freedom they give clients is fantastic. They helped me get to the root issues i have that caused me to keep going back to drugs and alcohol when i knew they were slowly killing me. I really can't say enough good things about them and their program

I truly couldn’t say a negative thing about Sandstone Care in Denver; they are amazing. I was in one of the lowest points of my life when I reached out to Sandstone admissions and even then, I received the best care right off the bat. My admissions coordinator, (Kevin Clark) was incredibly helpful and informative and even mentioned some of his own story to make me feel more comfortable and confident in starting this new journey in my life. I started the program in their PHP group and I first noticed that it felt different from the other treatment facilities I had ever been to. I felt comfortable, accepted, and safe. It was a new, but warm feeling. In the PHP group, I learned several /new/ ways of looking at the different issues I was going through. It didn’t feel like anyone was blaming me, but more like “these are things I am struggling with; okay, what can I do to make them feel less awful?” This is something that made Sandstone different for me - they actually helped me, as the individual, build new foundations and discover my values in life. After I finished up their PHP program, I stepped down to IOP and from there, I felt like a new person. I noticed that my self-esteem was growing and that when I was going through my lower moments of time, I could actually recognize what was happening and control the situation. Now this was huge considering I have been struggling with Anxiety/Major Depressive disorder since 5th grade. I could not figure out the words to describe the weight lifted off of my chest after completing my time at Sandstone Care. For anyone considering treatment for yourself or a loved one here, I would seriously recommend it. I was hesitant at first because of the question, “what if it’s just like every other mental health facility?” It’s not and I will die on that hill. During my time at Sandstone, I worked closely with the lead therapist, Sam, the program director, Mike, and the family therapist, Elliot. Each of these individuals made such a huge impact on my mental health journey and I am just so grateful for them. They really do make a difference.

I loved this place so much to say the least. Sometimes it can be frustrating and anxiety inducing trying to find a good place to get treatment, especially when dealing with insurance companies. When I first reached out, I made the call in the early afternoon and they had me in the very next morning to do the intake!! I participated in the Adult PHP program and enjoyed every second of it, made many new friends and found every reason to stay sober. Shout-out to Sam and Wyndi, they are the best there is!! ❤️

I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe this center. I LOVED every single employee there. Every single one treated me with genuine kindness and compassion. Detox is rough on some people and they never ever made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. I stayed for 21 days and was so sad to leave. Mixed emotions. I made many new friends that were also in the program. But the therapists and nurses all have a special place in my heart. Much laughter, many tears (I’m an emotional person) and the feeling of finally finding a safe space where all of the things that I share stay there. My therapist still calls to check on me, love Mariah! My nurse practitioner Savannah, always listened to my questions and needs with such sincerity, I am truly blessed to have met her as well.

I had went to shadow mountain a few years back, and they have really helped me change my life for the better. I went in anxious and insecure, and everyone here (including Randal and Richard, and a lot more staff I can’t remember the name of) had lifted me up and supported me in ways I’ve never experienced in other facilities. Randal had helped me become more confident in myself while Richard had helped me understand my relationship with life and god deeper, and they gave me the opportunity to go forward to another sober living out in Huntington Beach, which has all lead to me coming up on 2 years sober this months, a finance I love, and a life that I feel like I’m thriving in. Shadow mountain was a fundamental part of my life changing from relentless drug abuse and hurting myself and others around me, to growth in myself and a life where I have value and purpose. I definitely recommend shadow mountain to anyone who is serious about overcoming their addiction and changing their life. Thank you all!!

This is an exceptional treatment experience for addiction. The staff, led by the amazing Randall Staton, is extraordinary; many professionals passionate about helping people like me. The facility itself is nestled in Shadow Mountain and it is well maintained and very comfortable. The mountain itself is a very spiritual place. It has a lot of power and one can feel it just by being there. If you or a loved one needs help with addiction, I highly recommend Shadow Mountain Recovery in Taos, New Mexico. It's one of a kind and truly effective.

This year I celebrated 6 years clean after over a decade of drug use. Whenever I talk about my recovery, Mary, the woman who runs this rehab and sober living will always come into that conversation.
I was so scared to go into rehab for the first time and I knew my family was too. I’m so happy I chose New Beginnings. Everything about the place from the classes to the different ways they teach you to get through withdrawals and how to manifest a beautiful life, clean. Her words will forever echo in my heart for the rest of my life. There is something truly special about this place.

Healing Pines is the only place you’ll EVER need! This was my first time in treatment and after a long hard look and lots of conversations with Paul, something just felt right about this place. I’m so glad i chose healing pines cause i couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. From the first day, all the way till my cone out, my experience was nothing short of amazing. This place literally saved my life. Paul and the rest of the staff are amazing people! HPR is exactly what I was looking for in a treatment center. It’s small and intimate and therefore you will get really close with the guys here. You don’t feel like you’re in a clinical setting but it’s not like you’re getting well at a resort. After learning about the lengths that Paul went to in creating this place, it speaks VOLUMES about how much he cares. The community was hesitant but he knew that this is where he was going to help people and made it happen. You will do some deep introspection and healing with your brothers. I would go and play disc golf with my therapist and he always listened intentionally to what I had to say. I miss this place!! The culture here is very special. HPR is where men go to heal and I know I have friends for life after my time in this program.
Come with an open mind and I promise you will get out of it 10x what you put into it.

I wanted to wait a year before i left a review about my experience at Vista, and here we are. I am 1 year and 1 month sober !! When i first came to the facility i was in terrible shape, physically and mentally. I fought the treatment for weeks before i saw that i was actually getting better. I found my higher power in this place and my life has changed in dramatic ways. I have no urge whatsoever to return to my previous way of life and i must give the credit to Vista. I completed the 30-day program at Vista Taos and had an amazing experience and met a lot of great people during my stay. I have been in other treatment centers and Vista Taos is by far the best! JD was my therapist and had great knowledge and experience when it came to relapse prevention, identifying triggers and learning about the disease of addiction as well as tapping into trauma and trauma response actions. If you're looking for a rehab that works, this is the place to go. The environment is serene and peaceful. Weekly outings, 5-star meals, off-site meetings, individual therapy, queen sized comfy beds, full bathrooms with tubs or standing showers all accommodated for a comfortable stay for me while I was being rehabilitated for Methamphetamines and Alcohol. The staff was kind and respectful towards my needs and gave great inspiration and encouragement during my stay. Vista Taos is by far the best rehab in New Mexico. If you're searching for yourself or a loved one, this is the place to go. Don't hesitate, make the call now!

The facilities and environment and programs at Vista Taos are exceptional. I researched many rehab facilities in the U.S. in several states (NM, Ariz., Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Florida) and after careful consideration of all features, size, programs, quality of care, offerings, environment -- Vista came out on top, as my #1 pick best of all rehab programs.Also, the intake counselor Jeremy was extraordinary, he took so much time and care to discuss programs and specifics, and advise me about pros and cons of rehab in general, what to look for, how to evaluate programs, and how to select the best options for my family member. He even helped me network with other rehabs to get their info and compare. He is an amazing resource and the most caring, giving intake person I encountered in all rehabs I searched.
