This is a good place to work. We’ve had some turn over, yes, but the staff I have been working with for the last 8 months is very caring and all of us work hard to ensure proper patient care and safety. Most of the patients have a very positive experience here. I am proud of our nurses, and we all respect one another. I have not heard of anyone talking badly about anyone who works here. Every place has their challenges as I have worked at a few addiction treatment centers, and Banyan is one of the best places to work. I am responding to an inaccurate review that was left on here by a scorned nurse who was let go for being confrontational with a patient, and it was so unprofessional and incorrect. We have never had lice or bed bugs and that’s 100% a lie left on here by one nurse. I have referred other nurses and they’ve all been happy to be here.

I called to make an appointment for my husband and the receptionist, “Danielle” was extremely helpful, caring and patient in figuring out how to get him seen the soonest. I’ve gone to this clinic myself for years and I’m surprised at all the negative reviews posted; as all of the visits I’ve had there have shown knowledgeable professionalism by Drs and PAs and caring staff members- nurses, phlebotomists and front desk personnel.

I wanted to wait a year before i left a review about my experience at Vista, and here we are. I am 1 year and 1 month sober !! When i first came to the facility i was in terrible shape, physically and mentally. I fought the treatment for weeks before i saw that i was actually getting better. I completed the 30-day program at Vista Taos and had an amazing experience and met a lot of great people during my stay. I have been in other treatment centers and Vista Taos is by far the best! JD was my therapist and had great knowledge and experience when it came to relapse prevention, identifying triggers and learning about the disease of addiction as well as tapping into trauma and trauma response actions. If you're looking for a rehab that works, this is the place to go. The environment is serene and peaceful. Weekly outings, 5-star meals, off-site meetings, individual therapy, queen sized comfy beds, full bathrooms with tubs or standing showers all accommodated for a comfortable stay for me while I was being rehabilitated for Methamphetamines and Alcohol. The staff was kind and respectful towards my needs and gave great inspiration and encouragement during my stay. Vista Taos is by far the best rehab in New Mexico. If you're searching for yourself or a loved one, this is the place to go. Don't hesitate, make the call now!

I researched many rehab facilities in the U.S. in several states (NM, Ariz., Utah, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, Florida) and after careful consideration of all features, size, programs, quality of care, offerings, environment -- Vista came out on top, as my #1 pick best of all rehab programs.Also, the intake counselor Jeremy was extraordinary, he took so much time and care to discuss programs and specifics, and advise me about pros and cons of rehab in general, what to look for, how to evaluate programs, and how to select the best options for my family member. He even helped me network with other rehabs to get their info and compare. He is an amazing resource and the most caring, giving intake person I encountered in all rehabs I searched. I was a victim of a crime and they had more than a month to get my input. They did not contact me until 4:45 the day before trial the next morning. Their report the next morning included extensive pages of quoting from the defendant in this domestic violence case and it only said that they took my info. Into consideration. Note that this is a domestic violence case in which there was a witness, and the police officers took photographs because I was bleeding from the assault. Because of PIC not taking my information into consideration before their report, the case was dismissed and the perpetrator got off without any consequences. Complete failure of Partners in Change resulted in an abuser getting charges dismissed and myself, the victim being abused again. Do NOT use this company.

They did their job. They listened to my side. Looked at evidence and asked for what I said I had as well. But most importantly reviewed my evidence as well. They can't dismiss something with no ground to stand on of course. They do what they are supposed too.

The people there are amazing as well as the people that are part of your treatment the treatment team work together as a team. There like being home the patient rooms are very nice well keeped clean
But I have a problem with the nursing staff as well as the doctors by the way they treated some patients but that is the passed. The food was ok but the main cook wouldn't listen to the patient and there needs. But all in all it was a great place to go to treatment and for me I was able to really work on me and yet be able to listen to other that to is helpful it shows you never have to be alone. We also when to outside meetings that could and it helped me a lot as well. THANK U FOR HELPING ME WHEN I NEEDED IT MOST.

Continuum was able to help me break through to the heart of my addiction and trauma by connecting with others in my IOP group that I now consider family. George is the best therapist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has shown me ways to cope with not just daily struggles, but the deeper issues that have had long term effects that sometimes I am not aware of. By creating a place of safety and comfort, I am now able to say I do not fear recovery or connection with others anymore - and that is 100% due to George and Continuum. He truly cares about the people he serves, and I have never felt so much love from someone outside of family (which I now consider him). This is the best place for whatever you have going on in your life. I am on supervision and use them for my classes, one on ones, and testing. The staff is super nice and helpful. Edit: After going to a different program, I have to knock off a star. I learned more coping skills and about my mental health in 3 days compared to the 2 weeks I was at sandstone. Sandstone is still an excellent place, I think they just need to work on eduction and skills practice!!

I've having issues with communication. They sent me a letter claiming I've missed several appointments. My case manager had made me one at a time she knows it hard for me to get to. I called and left a message the night before and never got a call back. Then I was sent a termination of services in the mail. It was dated for 6/6 and I had to respond to it by 6/13. We'll it didn't sent out till 6/9, it was marked by the post office and 6/12, and i didn't get it in my mailbox till 6/13 or 6/14. So tell me how I am able to respond in the supposed time period if I don't get the letter till the day of or after the deadline??????? Do better TPC. Start making email and text communication a thing and get with present technology.

This hospital is a band aid station.

Like every establishment like this one, it had its ups and it has its downs. The staff, for the most part, seem to ACTUALLY care about the patients and keeping the patients sober. Also, the staff makes it a point to learn, not just your name, but who each person is as an individual. This makes, at least me and my husband, feel like we matter and motivated to stay sober. It's a good place for addicts to go to when rehab isn't an option!!

Friendly and helpful desk folks. The 2 assistants got me prepped for Dr Bailey chatted and were excellent - I felt relaxed and comfortable with all the things they hooked me up to. Dr Bailey had explained everything beforehand and chatted before the surgery. All went well.
