Known as the birthplace of Father’s Day, Spokane, Washington provides a harmonious balance of rural charm and urban sophistication. It’s also home to Sequoia Detox Centers. This upscale, medically managed inpatient detox welcomes adults starting their addiction or co-occurring disorder recovery journey. You’ll benefit from a quaint, tranquil
What sets Sequoia apart is its fierce dedication to rebuilding lives, not just detoxing bodies. The program didn t stop at flushing the drugs out; it dug deep into the why behind my addiction. Group therapy sessions were raw and real strangers became lifelines as we shared our stories, failures, and fragile dreams of sobriety. The counselors were warriors, armed with expertise and empathy, tailoring treatment to fit my messy reality instead of some cookie-cutter plan. By the time I left, I wasn t just clean; I was armed with tools to fight for myself. Sequoia didn t just save me it reignited a fire I thought addiction had snuffed out forever. If you re lost in the grip of this disease, this place is a beacon worth running toward.

Went to Colonial Clinic November 2020, and I am so incredibly grateful I found them. At the time I attended (I hope it's still the same to this day) they require attendance of an outside support group, and strongly suggest getting a sponsor. I followed the suggestions and am still with the same sponsor to this day (May 2023). Did Colonial fix my problems? No. But it was a great first step coming here. That's why I give them five stars, because they kick-started my lifelong recovery process.

I just completed treatment at New Horizons Care Center and I am so grateful for the help I received. Ashley and Chris were so nice when I had to schedule appointments and when I had questions they directed me to the right person. My group leader Dustin was beyond helpful and the most wonderful support I have ever had. He was the right person, in the right place, at the right time that I needed in my recovery journey. He made groups very enjoyable and made me want to do better. On days where I didn't want to go to class, I showed up and was glad I did. My counselor Jo was a huge support as well. She made MRT and Relapse Prevention fun. This is the best treatment facility I have been through. ( I have been through a few). I believe in my heart this place has made a great impact that will stick with me for the long haul!

I have been going to new horizons for about 6 months now. It has been a journey for sure! Everyone I have come across has been very supportive, caring, and genuine people! If you don't see any improvement, its literally because your not putting in your own self work! This is the first time in my life being sober after 24 years of doing my choice of addiction. I wouldn't been able to make it as fair as I did without the help from my counselor, my group leaders, and my therapist. I am very grateful I choose this place to finally become sober. If you are serious about becoming sober. Please try this place out. You won't regret it!

I miss Andrea (my PRC), Jason, Mike, Zack, Rurik, Bill, Lori, Don, Bev, Jennifer, Didi, Martina, Melody, Gina, Jack, Tim, Grace, Chris, Betty, Mark, Wayne, Trish, Casey, Stacey, Marc, Kyle and Claire. The staff and everyone are very, very awesome and good hearted people. Their all very caring and funny....very funny staff there. Mike gave me the nickname chewie after Chewbacca because I love star wars. I cherish Tamarack immensely. I went by a different name then which was Rebecca, and only them can call me by my former name. There the best people in the world to me. I think about the staff I knew and tamarack itself everyday. I miss them. I love everyone there. I highly recommend Tamarack from a person who cherished the time being there almost 2 years. I even changed my middle name to tamarack because how much they mean to me. Which is now Elara Tamarack Skyobi Sherwood. Thank you to every person there, Tamarack made me feel heard and seen. SUD (Substance Use Disorder) is a serious disease that requires the assistance of educated, compassionate and empathetic individuals to navigate and conquer. You will receive the help you need at Break Through if and when you are ready to live a substance free life. PHP (partial hospitalization program) is available during the day and the evening. It is time consuming but a necessary step in recovery. You will be surprised how fast you move through this section on to Intensive Outpatient thenOutpatient. No one is let to slip through the cracks as another review stated. Each client receives one on one therapy. There are book studies, massage, yoga. EMDR is available if the staff feels it is necessary for your recovery. The facility is immaculate and up to date. Every employee and outside contractor is heavily vested in your recovery. Counselors. Group Leaders. Medical staff. Reception. Director. Yoga Instructor. Masseuse. You will rarely meet an employee there that is not in active recovery. In other words, they get it! The staff meets on a regular basis to review all clients. My group leader noticed a shift in me and asked staff to keep an eye on me. I did relapse soon after because I didn t reach out for help. And yet again later in the program. Both times I ignored the warning signs. Each time it was handled professionally and compassionately but firmly. I knew that that second time was my final or I would be heading back to Inpatient. I am now 10 months sober. Was it easy? Hell no! The hardest part is walking through the door for the first time after finally choosing your recovery over addiction. Recovery does not look the same for any 2 individuals. Break Through operates on this premise and will guide you through to a life that even you didn t imagine you could be living.
