I wanna start the review by letting everyone know that it is no longer Connections it is now Coras.... So I gave 4 stars because I love my counselor. She has helped me work on myself and other issues I have been through. She is also head of the Women's Trauma Group which has been so informative, helpful, and like gaining family that is supportive, none judging, and an amazing group of women.. Sometimes the wait to get in, urines, Doctors Appt., and your number in the queue for your meds can be long. However I hate when people complain about the wait when if they just went earlier but they wait and make themselves late and then blame it on the clinic. You should be there for treatment because you want help to make yourselves a better person not because you need to feel better or a free fix.

sadly when you see ratings that are so far apart and no real middle ratings one has to ask themselves who is the real problem. So all I can say is the staff on all levels has been great. Sometimes I wonder if they debrief the staff enough. I mean some of these kids and parents I see while waiting for my appointment drive me crazier than I already am lol. If everyone you meet is a jerk maybe the jerk is you.

I just left Community Behavioral Health after the inpatient program. This is the best place to get sober and get the help you need. The staff is great and the patients there really care about one another.

The advocates here are very helpful and caring about what it is that you need help with. They are almost like a second family to you. They help with practically almost everything that you could possibly need help with. The housing is good and they even help with appointments, meds, and even help you to get a job if you want one. Dont know what I would do without them.

So not knowing anything about Avenues right? I was in the hospital in Berlin MD and told them please don't let me leave ending up at the front doors of Avenue's in Cambridge MD. I just left Banyan today, and I can't possibly say enough to express how wonderful everyone there was!! My therapist, Sabrina, was amazingly kind, understanding and knowledgeable and truly helped me a lot, especially with my anxiety and coping with past trauma. My case manager, Matt, was there whenever I needed something from him and was also incredibly kind. The techs are beyond awesome, Rose especially, all of them always going the extra mile for me and everyone else. The group facilitators I can't thank enough, like Liz, Cali and Pat, truly helping me to recognize my self-worth and learn how to actually execute healthy coping mechanisms, not just know about them. The nurses, like Megan and Anna and Christina are so kind, patient and helpful. Even my driver, Andy, was instrumental in my recovery there, being incredibly insightful and helpful. Please, please, ANYONE who is struggling with any sort of addiction, give Banyan at least a try. They will help you turn around and save your life more than you could ever expect. They will help you realize you truly deserve to do that and be with you every step of the way. Thank you to everyone at Banyan...a million times. I'm now ready to actually live and enjoy my life. I’ve been coming here since 2014. The nursing staff and counselors have improved so much over the years. The front desk receptionist Heather is warm and welcoming. The nursing staff is quick, professional & thorough. My counselor Jamie is the best I’ve had in all of my years of recovery up to this point. She always points out the positives in any situation and has a soft & loving way of talking through anything negative. Aside from her loving & professional style of counsel, she has degrees and certificates that make her more than qualified for the job. Out of all the facilities in the area that assist with medicated outpatient addiction treatment, AMS is the cleanest, most qualified and most professional.

I love this clinic, my counselor is awesome (Brian) so is the new director, she's cool as a fan and the dosing nurses are awesome Hattie and Corey, Corey's is new but she picked the dosing aspect up literally her first day now she's as quick and polite and beautiful as ever. My husband (a veteran) went to the ER this morning. Come to find out, he has to get his gallbladder removed! When we got home he went straight to sleep and I went ahead and was trying to get everything set up for him (surgery, consult appointment, etc). I had so much trouble and unhelpful people on the phone through the general VA line. On a whim, I came into this clinic needing help on a situation regarding his surgery. I was met with a very, very nice lady named Miesha. She went above and beyond to help me. She gave me tips and advice on what to do next time this would happen (my husband hasn’t been to the ER under VA insurance until today). She went out of her way to show me things that she didn’t need to, and even provided me a Manila envelope and a binder clip for all my documents! From there, Kim (a nurse) took over and also went above and beyond to help me! I let her know how much pain my husband was in and got the head nurse to help! While waiting, she was so nice to converse with and I enjoyed getting to know her. Christine was amazing in ensuring we would get into a surgery consult ASAP. She’s very kind and straight to the point! She was very eager to help me. I am not a veteran myself, so the fact that I spent at least an hour there getting information from everyone and they didn’t make a DIME off of me is something that’s unheard of nowadays.
