Walden has employees who are very dedicated & compassionate where adults in their care are concerned. Thru covid nightmares making a huge hindrance in allowing group meetings for some time, dedicated staff realized the importance of interaction with others who have walked the same nightmare. National shortage of trained help I am sure impacts their jobs, but I sincerely feel Walden's employees work there for the right reason..often saving a person's life. Their satisfaction at times when in the future seeing one of the 'flock' leading a normal, happy life when they run into them in public tells me they are there to make a viable difference. Thanks to all of Walden's angels in disguise for this!

Let's face it every program isn't gonna be 🌈 and ✨ we are there to get clean. Thts the primary purpose. So for me to complain about the food is ridiculous cuz I barely ate b4 I even went in there. And definitely disagree about them leaving u alone while you are in detox they do an assessment every 4 hrs. I couldn't get them to leave me alone all I wanted to do was sleep. But shout out to the nursing staff ⚕️ I loved all of you. My warmest hugs 🤗 to Kimmy Ms. Deb Jennifer Emma Ms. Lisa oh my my my I can't forget Toby and Kim y'all do a heck of a job cleaning us up. Renika do her thing with those dessert 🎂 and Ted those French toast, idk wht u do but keep on doing it and NeNe girl keep putting tht soul in it. Lol 🤣 I miss y'all already. In a nutshell the program gonna be what you put into it. You can have fun while getting clean or be miserable 😖 and still get clean. The choice is yours but it's not my place to blame it on a facility when I need to look at the behaviors I still carried with me. Thanks for having me. Ms. CeCe I'll be back for your I mean MY clothes 😂🥰 Oh yea by far my favorite counselor award goes to Nicole but Sheron u definitely pulled a lot out of me so u lost points for making me feel to much and crying lol. I could go on and on about things I didn't like but today it's about change and everything I didn't like was exactly what I needed to learn and grow in my recover. I would like to give THANKS to GOD for sending me to AVENUE'S. I'm from OFALLON, IL. I don't know how, I was put through to this facility. However, I realized GOD put me here so I could get the help I needed.
The Staff puts the clients first. You get here and they focus on your wellbeing. There group meetings throughout the day that give you insights on DRUG and ALCOHOL ADDICTION. Also, they help you with MENTAL HEALTH CARE. So, if you're suffering from Dual Diagnosis, they've got you.
The ADMINISTRATION handles any types of calls to outside facilities that you may need.
The FACILITATORS give us the TOOLS we need to FIGHT. Yes, the LESSONS are REPETITIVE. However, they come into play when you need them.
The COUNSELORS are the BEST. The LISTEN to your DEEPEST and DARKEST. My COUNSELORS, (MR. DWAYNE & MR. ANDREW), helped me BREAK 8yr old Tikki OUT shell.

This place saved my life. Plain and simple. I just left in late October 2025.
And just like any AA / NA meeting, rehab requires action and work. RCA might not be a Malibu Passages (which rehab isn’t suppose to be some fantasy, sleep and get massages all day land) but they helped me crack the code in how not to give up, bc I wanted to and I was tired.
But the experience I had, leaning into it and embracing it? Yeah, I got so much from this place. Family. Friends. Knowing I’m not alone. It’s huge.
So thank you RCA.
And a massive shoutout to Pastor Ken. I could not have asked for a better therapist who just knew how to help me, I can’t explain it. Bridget, my Case Manager has a bigger heart than I thought was possible to have; Brittany, Marcus and Tammy (3 of the staff whom I was really counting on being there, and they were! I owe them so much)
And Ms. Sherry T….Ms. Sherry is a damn godsend to the patients. One of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met and will ever know. ❤️❤️
And Tai, (I think that’s how you spell her name) in the cafeteria. She defines what pure joy and just happiness is when you think it’s all but lost.

My fiancé was in labor at 6 in the morning and we immediately came here and I can’t say enough how great Laura was as our nurse she stayed with us the entire time and how she helped deliver our daughter. Literally sweetest and she was also so helpful with anything and everything from advice to her about how to breathe things to do to make it go faster and feel better all the way to hospitality showing me all the things they had to make us feel comfortable we love her so much I believe she works in the delivery area in “C”

I absolutely love the front desk girl and the physician I have along with my counselor... My problem is that why is it that I feel before I share my concern or future ply... It's ALREADY spoken on BEFORE I speak with my physician?. I also feel like I was spoken on BEFORE I entered the room with my PHYSICIAN. I don't feel comfortable with that 💯, ESPECIALLY because it's ALLEGEDLY SUPPOSED to be CONFIDENTIAL. What happened to this??. My doctor was really ready to put me in a detox I didn't come for AND I don't give problem with anything I'm asking help with. I don't get it. I was cool about it and told HER not to worry. I'm working on me and I know I been doing over the above job with what I came for help for. She should be now know that too. Other than that... I love ALL those women working so hard there💯

I have been going to Savida since 12/24 and it has been such a nice journey for my recovery. The office is always clean and stocked up with snacks. Donna-Fe is so sweet and very helpful. Appointments are always very well scheduled with little to no wait time to see the providers. Art is a great counselor. He listens so well to you, I wish the sessions were longer, that's how good of a counselor he is. Kyle Jones has been my Physician and he is very sweet, a good listener and always asks how one is doing besides just prescribing medications. I have also seen Stephanie Rutherford who has been injecting my Vivitrol shots. She is also very sweet and knows her stuff. I have come a long way with Savida and it has been such a great experience this time around in my recovery. This place definetly makes you feel welcomed and accepted.

I have taken several program participants to various medical and mental health appointments over the years both in Virginia and in Maryland and was hands down super impressed with the staff at the CSB juvenile, adult, and emergency services. There was quite a wait for emergency services but each department communicated with each other and was so polite. Brian Stewart is one of the few names that we caught but he was phenomenal. The staff checked on us, fed us, and gave us blankets. We saw them touching base with some individuals who were clearly in crisis and they were just so patient and caring. Dr. Smith was our emergency services doc and I wish he could see people regularly because he was funny and he made my program participant feel heard. I have been with an individual to the primary care as well and enjoyed the collaboration with DO Pristell.

My husband (a veteran) went to the ER this morning. Come to find out, he has to get his gallbladder removed! When we got home he went straight to sleep and I went ahead and was trying to get everything set up for him (surgery, consult appointment, etc). I had so much trouble and unhelpful people on the phone through the general VA line. On a whim, I came into this clinic needing help on a situation regarding his surgery. I was met with a very, very nice lady named Miesha. She went above and beyond to help me. She gave me tips and advice on what to do next time this would happen (my husband hasn’t been to the ER under VA insurance until today). She went out of her way to show me things that she didn’t need to, and even provided me a Manila envelope and a binder clip for all my documents! From there, Kim (a nurse) took over and also went above and beyond to help me! I let her know how much pain my husband was in and got the head nurse to help! While waiting, she was so nice to converse with and I enjoyed getting to know her. Christine was amazing in ensuring we would get into a surgery consult ASAP. She’s very kind and straight to the point! She was very eager to help me. I am not a veteran myself, so the fact that I spent at least an hour there getting information from everyone and they didn’t make a DIME off of me is something that’s unheard of nowadays. Thank you Miesha, Kim, and Christine for helping me! I wish I could have you all as MY primary care. ( :

This hospital is very nice. I recoverd from my mental health problem. They wrote my mental health problem on my discharge paper. Then doctors are very nice. The caseworker is very nice. Everybody is good people because if the patients ruminating they hold by Patience. But I have a recommendation for them about visitors word that means they have to prepare translation Robot to listen visitors talking because some visitors talk to patient bad unnecessary word that is not good for patients. One day I was in the hospital at that place my Dad was visited me. When my dad visit me he talk some word that word causes anxiety upon me. I didn't want to talk to my doctor because I want to discharge from the hospital because all my friends discharge from the hospital so not to stay that hospital for more days. In general I advice for that hospital to prepare and put recorder that can speak the whole language in the world at visitors area. when visitors come in that area they have to turn on that recorder, so they can do their job easily. Not only for that mental hospital I advice the whole mental hospital in the USA and the whole mental health hospital in the world.

I’ve been to Mount Vernon Hospital this month three times due to my irresponsible neighbor not getting a rabies vaccine for there 120 lb Cane Corso, which means I have to go thru all the rabies shots required.
I was originally registered at check in by Monica, she was lovely and very kind, knowing I was extremely nervous she made me feel good .I then had my first interaction with RN Julie she admitted me , she was calm, caring and comforted me , and she was so thorough , sincere , and cared . After being admitted I was very fortunate Dr. Ladd was my Dr. wonderful bedside manners , gentle and caring and kind and could see and feel my anxiety. The nurse assisting her with my shot was Josh what a great nurse , he spoke with me with such caring ways I was scared , he was comforting , Dr. Ladd explained all about the first shot and it would hurt but her speaking with me assured me I was in great hands , she was very gentle .
My next visits I just had to check in and the nurses could administer the following shots . My second and third visit Dajavan registered me, wow Inova you are very lucky to have such a kind and caring gentleman registering one when checking in , his smile , caring ways makes one feel better , what was better yet he recognized me each and every visited and greeted me with his big smile , also always assuring I’ll be with you shortly , I watched him interact with others , what a nice young man , your very lucky in this day and age to have him, especially since he’s the first one You see coming in the door .
The nurses that gave me the next few shots and I still have one more to go was Veronica and Megan again so caring , gentle and comforting, and very concerned in what had happened to me, every nurse I came in contact was lovely , Megan especially recognized me and ordered the shot immediately, very proactive. I thanked each one of these folks when leaving the hospital but I’d like You to know what a great team of folks you have there, I was lucky to get them all , please again let them know they made a scary situation much easier .

If u guys want the help they will help you. But they are not going to chase after you to give you the help! You have to show that you’re willing to fix your addiction or you’re just basically using this place for housing. I been to this rehab twice and thank god I got the help I needed on my second trip. So stop giving this place a 1star review because your family member got kick out! Do you even understand how hard it is to get kick out of that place? People are rating this facility like they paid out of pocket. Stop disrespecting a good thing!

My opthamology tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. She advised me on future appointments and when I'm doing upgrade. She went over and beyond for me. I really enjoyed the appointments at the VA Clinic just don't mind them at all. Thankful they are there for me. Her name is Denise so shout out girl I think you're awesome. Our daughter was in desperate need of help. Her ED had gotten into a dangerous zone. Out patient therapy was just not enough to bridge the gap for us. We began looking for facilities and this one was semi close. Leaving your child can be very difficult and reading reviews I felt somewhat comfortable with this place.
Ilida was really easy to work with. When we arrived, she went through all of the initial paperwork with us and made sure we understood everything before signing. While there our daughter was able to gain weight and understand her relationship with her body image and understand how her eating disorder affected that. The staff was great and quickly developed relationships that were therapeutic with my daughter- helping her use her DBT skills when she would get upset. As a mom, it does your heart good to know that when your child is upset, there is someone there to comfort them when you can’t. She went in having withdrawn into herself, no longer enjoying activities she had previously enjoyed, and as previously mentioned, very sick. She discharged a healthy, happy kiddo! Enjoying activities she hadn’t enjoyed in a long time!
The only negative comments I have is that the house was in somewhat of a transition of staff upon our arrival. Our daughter was assigned a virtual therapist & virtual dietician. While both of these individuals were great, we would have much preferred in person facilitation. There were some lapses of communication a few times, but again, staff was/is in transition. When it’s brought to their attention, they are quick to rectify this.
At the end of the day, the good definitely outweighs the “bad” and if I had to do it all over again, I would send her there without hesitation. Actually at discharge, our daughter was in tears because while she wanted to come home, she was going to miss several of the staff!

The company does care about mental wellness, but their focus needs to shift.having balance, seemed to be on diagnosis rather than understanding the human external issues and current expectations,behind why they need services. They based time on what was written on paper—labels like anxiety, mood disorder, depression which I have , gave me less time. in therapy—instead of what was actually going on in people’s lives at that very moment.They had no office space, only home visits.For someone like myself, I am a private person, that was uncomfortable. I didn’t want my neighbors in my business. I purposely avoided being home, for sessions because I needed a safe place to open up, not a drive by therapist . I just wanted a quiet room—a real office where healing felt private and safe.Over time, I I will admit Miss Tracy,but I did what no client should do and that grew close to my therapist because what they have made you fulfill.They are your theripist !!she is a really good therapist and it was like talking to homegirl She was the one who helped me keep it together and adjust coming back to the DMV ,when I got lonely ,I guess calling outside session ,so she dumped me 😂 😂 😂 . I guess after I said you remind me of my sister who has pushed me away ,but now getting close.Said she couldn't give me what I wanted whatever that means.Maybe her therapeutic approach is like talking to a friend/ Sister ,but I thought that was therapy about. But instead, I was twisted into a complaint. I watched others with schizophrenia get longer sessions because they had “more severe” diagnoses, even though some had stable lives and family support no outside stressors. My world was chaos, In conclusion Miss Tracy Burton helped me to adjust back to DMV .I realized it's time to get another therapist to help you though because I did. One thing.,Miss Tracy Burton is a damn therapist don't judge she talking to you about something RANDOM the " BOOM" she ask HOW U DOING? You begin to open you up. She helped me to start trusting after a traumatic indecent that happened,that I never told to her
