Amazing place! Wish I could've stayed longer. I met some awesome people there! The cabins are clean and cozy. They're like hotel rooms without a TV. I was at Valley Hope for 30 days in January 2023. I desperately needed rehab and because I wasn t covered by insurance had to pay for my treatment. It was, without a doubt, the best money I have ever spent and I would do it again without hesitation. Valley Hope gave me the tools I needed to live a life free from alcohol. We enjoyed our stay! We had caring helpful staff! The privacy for each patient is takin seriously. I would highly recommend coming here because they allow husband and wife, your phone, and they provide the successful lectures to help u make it out in the real world. Their food is relatively good quality, and the portions are more than u may need. They provide medicated assistance to help you with the withdrawals. The staff are very friendly and truly put your total care at heart. Every patient is accommodating, and welcoming. This does help everyone coming in a lot! Mama cleans her butt off and leaves you feeling cared for and like your her own kid! She puts her all into her hard work and is a very kind, caring soul! Kellie will help u along the way figure out what is bothering you and get to the root of the problem you have, only if you re ready. James does this as well. Two very good counselors who have been through their own situations and use this to help others. Ronda always puts your health above and goes above and beyond to make sure u are taking care of. Shes a wonderful nurse! Allison is very sweet and kind hearted and will do anything it takes to make u feel at peace and have that active listening skill, she is persistent and so is Mel. They both are great at what they do! The lectures are very educational and give u all the tools you may need to out into your tool box to take with you when you leave. I am updating my review because it is no longer relevant. I am very sad to hear that the director John is retiring; he is a wonderful, caring person.
Some tips: they only check bills with a marker that only detects the presence of starch. This only works to ID fake bills that have been printed off of somebody's HP or Lexmark onto cheap printer paper. even accidentally washing your pants with a 20 in the pocket will be enough to "set off" their pens. Bills made priot to 1973 also automatically fail. Because counterfeiters often use bleached, real $1 bills, not only are they vulnerable to larceny, but false positives left me and others feeling judged and unable to dose. I acquired easy to read posters and literature from the St Louis Department of Revenue for local businesses to detect counterfeit currency and distributed them to every window. They did not use them or even try the many ways the US Treasury advises to detect fake currency (microprinting, watermark, texture of raised ink, security thread, color-shifting print, etc.) Implying I have a 65 ton printing press in my basement but used a $1.99 ream from Kinko's.
Speaking of money, they do not take change (coins)and nor do neighboring businesses. They also may not reinmburse you if you don't have the correct bills for exact change.
Counselors are a hit and miss. I have encountered 12 steppers who are proud to treat a disease the same exact way for a near century and are quick to blame you if AA doesn't help, never the program. Even if you have been repeatedly victimized by 13th steppers. Imagine if an antibiotic failed to cure your infection. Would your doctor say you have moral failings and give you more of the same antibiotic? No. Some counselors here do know about smart recovery and other, actually helpful, programs. Do not be afraid to find someone who works.

Wonderful care. Nursing staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Care time is quick and thorough. The doctor on call was great. I can't say enough good things about the staff. The room was spacious and private, with its own bath. It was like being in a luxurious hotel. If a hospital stay can be said to be a positive experience, that would describe my stay at St. Clare. I have been seeing the surgeons at St Clare since July 2023. I have had several diagnostic injections and both of my hips needed total joint replacements as well as this past April with a total knee replacement. While needed, the medical staff were great at scheduling my various appointments. Dr Palmer was my surgeon, but doctors in all departments were great with scheduling, pain control, and follow up appointments.all nursing staff were professional and accommodating, insuring my safety was their main goal. The technicians i saw were also accomodating and professional.

My teen incurred multiple terrifying and alienating experiences to their birthmother during her pregnancy. It was a closed adoption and their adoptive Daddy died of cancer when she was 4. If CALO didn’t exist, I’m afraid my kid wouldn’t either. CALO isn’t magic. It is the practice of repeating healthy appropriate tlc hundreds of times a day. food is trash but what to you expect, bring you're own pillow and blanket if you can the stuff they give you is worse than bob barker. i`d buy the pillow and blanket brand new if you can or they might not allow you to bring it in they wash all used items you bring in so if its some huge comforter leave it at home I doubt that will slide. think small if you cant buy brand new. they have TVs with DVD players and movies to skim though, had roku while I was there may or may not still be around. there is a smoking section, you go as a group every couple hours. buy brand new packs of cigs before you enter open packs are not allowed. Other than those obvious flaws, flaws you would find everywhere. the staff were respectful and caring. This place is doing its part in saving peoples lives the staff are nice as long as you make an effort, they know you are going though a tough time you won't be forced to do anything if you don't want to, could be 7 days in bed only need to get up to do meds and heart rate readings. Would recommend to anyone.

Staff was excellent! Loved the dentist and hygienist. Only bad things were location and wait time for appts. Building is super hard to find. It's location is inside a high school. Besides being very hard to find and super long wait times for appts it was a pleasant visit and would recommend to friends and family

Insynergy is an excellent program. I found it to be a highly personalized and comprehensive program. Dr. Taca and staff are caring and compassionate. Alcohol is a tough substance to quit and Insynergy gave me the tools to do just that. I’m on my way to 4 years sobriety thanks to them.

I joined INSynergy in April 2019. This practice is TRULY personalized as advertised. I felt that I was treated as a person, in addition to being a patient. Kindness, compassion, empathy, was what I received from the professional staff. When I “slipped” from sobriety on occasion, I was not judged. I felt that the staff was there to listen, to offer suggestions on what my triggers were for these slips. I have always thought that alcoholism is a disease. For me, recovery is a health issue, not a moral issue as I used to find in some 12 step programs. I am truly impressed by the programs, both individual and group which INSynergy offers. I have met lovely people who share my frustration with the disease. It feels good not to be alone.
