I have been begging for therapy for what is well over a year. Might even be 2 now. I have been a patient since 2015. The last therapist I had quit without letting her patients know. I should have been at the front of "the list". But every time I ask, they give me an excuse and say they'll let me know when someone can see me. I never get a call. I had the weirdest experience at this walk-in clinic. 1. When the nurse came into the room, she stood on the other side of the room talking to me with a mask on, but then got close to me to take my vitals. This is a field that YOU choose. I understand no one wants to be sick, but that's part of the job.
2. The doctor that "treated" me was sick herself. Ma'am. Shouldn't you be at home getting rest? Coughing and sniffing while treating patients. I guess she fit right in with the sick. But what if she is treating someone who was not in there because they are sick? She was sweating. 🤕🤒🤢

Services are available in English | Treatments Programs Payment Options | I am going to tell a bit about my experiences at SB V clinic and anyone that reads my review can make their own judgement on entering this treatment facility but I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Even if it means relocating. First of all I started this treatment at S.Bends Victory clinic a few yrs back for my addiction to pain killers. It was ok then but I moved away and came back spring of 2018 IN thinking Victory would be nice like before. Boy was I WRONG. IT IS AWFUL NOW. I will say there are a couple staff members that are awesome but most of the counselors, dosing nurses, and the 2 drs that we are forced to see every 3 mos are soley there for the $ and dont care about us. I have proof a "higher up staff" is stealing money from patients,me included, and they will try to over charge you thinking you wont notice! If you come here I suggest asking for a print out of your payments monthly and if something is wrong pls dont bother w SB. Contact Kzoo and ask to speak to the director.

The photos on the website aren’t the actual building you go to at the Lawrence location. Don’t bring cash like they tell you, can’t use it anyways. If you vape bring about 5 cuz they don’t let you charge them??? You are welcome to use your phone to order necessities off Amazon or need to use GoPuff. Other than that, if you don’t list a person upon admittance, you cannot contact them. Even if it’s an emergency (yes I witnessed it). Inconsiderate & not good care for people who are recovering & in a bind. They kinda make it worse.
Only take 7 of each clothing item, otherwise the rest goes into a shed that you CANNOT access for some reason. Inconsiderate & rude employees. You ask them for things & they either deliberately ignore you, act like it’s an inconvenience or “forget.” Depending on the person working the rules are different, inconsistent & favoring certain people. It should be the same all around.
The groups/classes are same things you would get with outpatient in the comfort of your home. They feed you like toddlers. For example: 3(?!!!) corn dogs, undercooked tater tots, & tough broccoli… most the time the food is cold too.
Don’t get me wrong, my 5 days (out of the 28 planned) helped me detox & feel better & I’m going to continue my treatment w someone else or in a different way. The environment didn’t help anything else.

Before Selah, I had several experiences at trauma centers that made me questioned if I ever wanted to get help or if my recovery was worth it.
I was admitted to Selah in Summer 2023 and 2024. I learned to advocated for myself and others. Shout out to nurse Mary Adkins and Kenzie, therapists Emily and Marice! Without them I would of left Selah. I was panicking, didn't feel heard and my dietian left for a different practice. There was so many changes that happened when I was there in 2024. But overall for me, what I gained from both experience was "trust" from the clinical staff at Selah. Trust the process. I have never had that before.
RC Chasey, Gwen and Stacie are amazing staff that genuinely care about the clients and their recovery.
So glad to hear recently therapist Emily is taking over Christian Programming. One of the reasons I looked more into Selah was faith programming. On Sundays, I always looked forward to church in residential and php.

selah may not have been able to heal me from my eating disorder, not because their work and people aren’t great, but i believe because i have very deep internal issues i’ve struggled to work on myself for years. the program improved a lot from 2022 to 2024 (my two stays). obviously the program had its issues and iffy staff members, but overall the nurses and techs made me feel so loved. nancy, hailey, sydney, jess, christi, maggie, marcie, kati and chris the chaplain are amazing people. thank you guys for making me feel like a person.

There seems to be a detachment relating to their responsibilities to help any in-need veteran. I come to the Facility to ask if they can check my blood pressure because I was feeling unsteady. And, the Receptionist immediately denied my request and began to give me a lot of Regulations that Prevented them from serving me at that time. Meanwhile, I saw what appeared to be employees sitting around doing nothing but eating while looking at me like I was an alien. Meanwhile, most of the staff were female if that were an issue.. Such a transformative experience! Naturally, the reviews you read for addiction treatment centers are going to skew negative but don't let that deter you if you believe you need help. Not only did I have an amazing experience with staff, I've built a strong foundation of community among my peers who were also seeking treatment. While encouraged by their use of an evidenced-based model, the incorporation of the 12-steps had me skeptical at first but now I'm fully committed. If you feel the 12 steps aren't for you, they also provide information about alternatives such as SMART Recovery and Recovery Dharma. My one complaint would be that I had chosen to participate in the in-person IOP during intake, but was somehow placed into the virtual IOP. Once it was recognized it was a quick fix and it didn't impact my start date or anything like that.

Indiana is ranked 7th nationwide in terms of addiction treatment affordability, with an average cost of addiction treatment of $54,824.
The costs of drug and alcohol rehab in Indiana vary widely and depend on several factors, including:
The costs of addiction treatment listed for cities and states are averages based on the cost of the treatment types listed above. These averages are high due to the cost of medical detoxification and residential inpatient rehab programs.
These numbers also reflect the raw cost of drug rehab, before any insurance coverage. The typical individual seeking addiction treatment can expect to pay much less for outpatient or intensive outpatient services than the averages listed below.
There are many ways to pay for drug rehab in Indiana. Most treatment centers accept cash or self-payment, as well as private health insurance. However, there are many treatment centers in Indiana that accept Medicaid and Medicare, or offer sliding scale payments or other low-cost payment options. Here’s the complete breakdown of how to pay for addiction treatment in Indiana.
Aetna is the most widely-accepted insurance for drug rehabs in Indiana, with 97 treatment centers in the state accepting their insurance. Blue Cross Blue Shield is the 2nd most popular with 93 treatment centers accepting it followed by Cigna in 3rd accepted by 93 drug rehabs.
