I feel that I owe this place so much! They are lifesavers for me! The good Lord sent them here because He knew I would eventually need them so very much, so much that my life depended on them. They saved my life! They stuck by me through the years! People, medication and therapists are both sought and gained only through trial and error. It took me a number of years to get it all straight and now I couldn't be happier! I've tried places in Kokomo and Wabash and by far, Four County is the best place around for your mental health. I definitely recommend!

My daughter is now 5 years old, she’s been seeing Jill for the last 1.5 year. To say that she’s one of the best is an understatement. I personally have been in therapy for anxiety and there’s no one who compares to her. My daughter went through something very devastating & Jill has been our light through it. If you’re in need of a therapist, this is definitely the place for you! Erin & Darla, the receptionist are just as wonderful. My little girl loves all 3 of these individuals and looks forward to going everytime. Such a welcoming & passionate environment. Although this has been a very difficult thing for my family, Brighter Tomorrows is what gives us hope.

⭐ 1/5 JOCELYN is the reason I will no longer be donating to YWCA North Central Indiana after approximately a YEAR of consistently donating BRAND-NEW clothing from my fashion business. I own a fashion business, and I regularly have brand-new clothing that I cannot use due to sizing, incorrect orders, overstock, etc. Instead of letting perfectly good clothing go to waste, I’ve been donating these items to YWCA North Central Indiana so women and girls who need them can benefit. These are not old, worn-out clothes—they are BRAND-NEW, quality fashion items. For about a year, I have been allowed to drop these donations off. My husband will literally carry the bags inside the building and leave them where instructed. Because I run a business, I cannot always accommodate extremely limited or specific donation drop-off times, and this has never been an issue before. Today, I spoke with JOCELYN and explained this. I told her I’ve been donating this way for approximately a year and that my husband could bring the bags directly inside. I was NOT asking anyone to stop what they were doing and sort through the clothing. All I needed was for someone to receive the bags and put them to the side until the appropriate person was available. JOCELYN told me that she thought it would be better for me to FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO DONATE MY CLOTHES. So that is exactly what I will do. And honestly, the unfortunate part is that JOCELYN is not the person who would have benefited from these clothes. The women and girls receiving them would have. I’m sure many of them would have appreciated having access to brand-new clothing. I completely understand having policies and limited staffing. What I do not understand is turning away someone who has consistently donated brand-new merchandise for approximately a year when I wasn’t even asking anyone to process or sort the donation immediately. After supporting this organization for a year, being told by JOCELYN to simply find somewhere else to donate was extremely disappointing. I will gladly take my future donations to an organization that actually wants them and appreciates consistent community support.

A Place That Truly Saved My Life I don’t say this lightly when I say that Boca Recovery Center in Huntington, Indiana, saved my life. I struggled with addiction to opiates and fentanyl for approximately 30 years. During that time, I lost at least 80 friends to addiction. I have been to at least 30 treatment facilities throughout my life, and I can honestly say that none of them even came close to comparing to Boca. From the moment I made the call for help, I felt like someone genuinely cared. They were ready to help immediately, including arranging my flight and transportation to the airport. That kind of urgency and compassion meant more to me than I can put into words. The staff at this facility goes above and beyond to make you comfortable, safe, and cared for. They do things you wouldn't necessarily expect—from providing great food, snacks, and drinks to doing your laundry and making sure everything is clean and comfortable. I was honestly shocked when I found out they even did our laundry. And for those who smoke and may not be able to afford cigarettes, they even try to help with that. Most importantly, the people are what make Boca different. I came in needing help and left with people I consider friends for life. I would estimate that I made at least 30 new friends through what we affectionately called the Boca crew. I enjoyed my stay so much that I would honestly go back just to visit the staff. The nurses—Michelle, Tiffany, Tami, Beth, and Maddie—were incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. They treated me with dignity and never made me feel judged. The techs—Grosiala, Leann, Bri, Lista, Nate, Malaia, Sarah, Michael, Mike, Jason, Darius, Crystal, Lilly, Joe, and Andrew—were friendly, relatable, and always there when we needed them. The addiction counselors, especially Candace and Dave, were absolutely amazing. Thank you both for the incredible groups and the information you shared. I didn't just listen—I took what you taught me to heart and truly internalized it. Taylor, the Client Care Coordinator, is absolutely amazing. She knows what she's talking about, and her compassion and dedication really stood out to me. Olive in housekeeping deserves recognition as well. She goes above and beyond, and the laundry was always returned clean and folded beautifully. And Bill and Jeff, the chefs—your cooking was incredible! Thank you for putting so much love into the food and making me feel at home. If I forgot to mention someone, I sincerely apologize. Please know that I appreciate every single member of the Boca team. Each person played a part in my recovery, and I will forever be grateful. Since coming home, my desire to use has been almost nonexistent—something I honestly wasn't sure was possible after 30 years of addiction. Boca didn't just give me treatment. They gave me hope, compassion, friendships, and another chance at life. To the entire Boca crew: Thank you for saving my life. Thank you for believing in me when I needed it most. I will forever be grateful for every one of you. If you're struggling with addiction and wondering if recovery is possible, please don't give up. Make the call. It could change everything. Love and miss the Boca Crew!! Xoxo Rachel Clayton

HI, My name is MATT P. I AM AN ALCOHOLIC!!! OK, lm going to keep this short. In Most states when you go to recovery you're treated like a prisoner they lock you into a recovery center and you can't go anywhere do anything not at Boca. Boca Recovery Center is totally different they treat you with respect. The staff: At Boca the staff understand what you're going through, they've been there . Most of them are recovering themselves . They get it! To the staff at Huntington Indiana. You Know Who You Are. Ya' all are great! Even if you have a disability the staff of Boca and Huntington Indiana will make sure that you are comfortable and capable of meeting your goal. If I had to pick four words to sum up the staff in Huntington Indiana it would be kind, professional, respectful, and compassionate. In summary if you have the compassion to want to get clean and stay sober Boca Huntington Indiana is one of my top recommendations. As long as you have the desire to get clean. And the willingness to stay sober Boca recovery will help you on your journey Thank you Boca Huntington Indiana I couldn't have done this without you!!!!

All my nurses and techs were angels except one.... One of the day shift nurses said the following to me: -"Your lucky we are giving you a second chance." (I had to come back for help.) -"All you do is stand up here and stare at us." (I was in psychosis). -" Dont you think about anyone but yourself." (I tried to commit sui***.)

As someone who recently was discharged from the hospital, this is by far the best facility I’ve been to. I like the fact that you have to wear scrubs. So you don’t have to worry about having someone drop off clothes. The nurses and tech are super helpful and friendly. Their food is better than most hospital foods. They offer helpful groups which was one thing I liked. Because other facilities the groups are not reliable. These groups are almost DBT related. The doctors listen and won’t discharge you unless the doctor thinks you’re ready.

If your children have mental or behavioral problems, then Midwest Center for Youth and Families may be what they need to get back on their feet. It’s a residential center in Kouts, Indiana. They help girls ages 10-18 and boys from 12-18. If your income isn’t that high, they do accept Indiana Medicaid. When your kids are admitted, they’ll get

I couldn't be more thankful even if I tried to Midwest for everything they did for my child. Always informed of how things were going. Some of the issues we had there weren't caused by staff but by other residents. The staff did what they could to keep everything at peace and help them use the skills they've been taught at the facility. I'm extremely thankful for the nurses and Meghan her therapist. Everyone we dealt with from front desk to the Doctor was amazing. Reading the reviews prior to admission I was absolutely terrified and hesitant, now I'm eternally grateful for Midwest.

As a parent currently navigating the incredibly difficult and emotional experience of having a child in inpatient behavioral treatment, I wanted to share a more balanced perspective regarding Midwest. Like many parents, I read the reviews before my son arrived and was absolutely terrified. While no facility is perfect, and this type of environment is extremely intense and constantly evolving, our experience so far has included several staff members whose passion, compassion, and dedication deserve recognition. Jasmine has been absolutely incredible. Her ability to balance the emotional needs of the patients while also managing staff and unit dynamics is something I genuinely admire. She listens, communicates honestly, remains calm under pressure, and approaches these kids with both accountability and compassion. Angie has such a calming and compassionate presence. You can genuinely feel that she cares deeply about the kids and the work she is doing. Cece has years of experience and taps into her mothering nature to provide a stable environment, often at the cost of the patients giving her flack for her consistency. She is a kind soul who has clearly dedicated herself to this type of work. Mama D has shown so much affection, concern, and dedication toward these boys. In an environment where many of these kids are struggling emotionally and behaviorally, that warmth matters more than people realize. Jamar has also stood out to me because of the stability and consistency he brings to the unit. At the same time, he still seems to understand that these are teenagers who occasionally need moments of laughter, flexibility, and normalcy within appropriate boundaries. Communication has been open throughout this process, although not always perfectly consistent, which honestly should be expected in a setting where staff are constantly navigating changing emotional, behavioral, and safety situations involving multiple adolescents at once. As a parent, this has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. But I also recognize how emotionally demanding this work is for the people caring for these kids every day. I simply wanted to acknowledge the staff members who have made a meaningful difference for our family during an incredibly difficult time. I will update this review once we have completed treatment there, but going on week four, I am very thankful that we ended up choosing Midwest. My son is always clean, has not complained about the facilities or the food, and he is a very picky eater. Yes, some of these reviews probably have some basis, especially those written by former patients. These kids are navigating very difficult emotions and issues in a world that I often find difficult to navigate even as an adult. There is no doubt in my mind that each of these kids is going to have a different experience and perspective while there and post-treatment. It is very much a situation where outcomes depend partly on whether the child is emotionally able and willing to engage in the work of treatment. Many are navigating medication changes, new diagnoses, changing home environments, and hormones all at the same time. It is a lot. I also wanted to add that our son brought up an issue with a staff member to us, and at first we took it with a grain of salt. After additional conversations, we began to believe there was merit to some of his concerns regarding this staff member. Jasmine handled this situation maturely and appropriately while balancing all sides of it. While I could understand my son's perspective, I have also grown to have deep care and concern for our mental health workers. This staff member is likely in need of a break from the unit she has been on for a lengthy amount of time, and this was addressed immediately before it spiraled into something bigger. So, if you're where we were a month ago, I get it. Take some deep, deep breaths, and make a call to Midwest and talk through your concerns. I think you will find that they are a very transparent behavioral health center that is constantly striving to improve.
