Had a great experience with the entire staff! My 8yr old son needed help urgently, I live nearby and was aware of them, but usually went to my pediatrician with my son's issues, I wish I could remember all there names. From the gentleman at the intake, the nurse, the Dr. And the social worker. All were very kind, all seemed very caring and sensitive to my son's needs, they did more in 3 hours than 2 years of therapy, high price psychiatrists, and multiple visits to an ER did ever. Dr. VIJAYAKUMA, Thank you for the call to my pediatrician! And the consultation with her! I can't tell you how much that meant to me.. if the caring and compassion they showed my son is any indication of how they operate, don't hesitate to take your child to them. Thank you all again.

Theresa, I think she’s the office manager, is the best. She does so much to try and coordinate everything for patients. From billing discrepancies to scheduling multiple therapists she takes care of it all. I would have gave up therapy if it wasn’t for her determination in making it work for my kids and myself. The therapist are great too.

Make sure to find the right therapist for you. Cheryl is highly recommended by me for ANYONE; lovely lady. She has helped me with moving past my family and personal problems. Stacy was not a great experience for me. She treated me too childlike although I'm 17 and kept forgetting my details and had to check her notes for basic info on me. She also used a "get to know you" ball with questions for three sessions in a row while giving me no real help. She is probably more suited to older clients.

Allison is so down to earth. She is super easy to talk to. Can't say enough good things. The location of her office, is Newburgh and school craft

This program works if you pay attention and TRY! I’ve seen ppl walk in and out after a day and say it was “triggering” so is doing drugs, this place has SAVED MY LIFE. The entire staff are angels quiet literally. The Schoolcraft location is my favorite. I’m almost 2 years sober from alcohol ❤️ Kim, Brandon and Andrew were all so accommodating, understanding and amazing at their jobs. Thank you GOD and BLESSS YOU

I was seen by Alan Griffith for 17 years off and on. I had several issues and went for depression and anxiety. He helped me so much especially when dealing with coworkers that took advantage of my people pleasing self. He was also a great help to myself and husband when it came to dealing with our young kids… up through the teenage years. When I met him, I didn’t even have a tool box let alone tools for figuring out problems. I had absolutely no self-esteem and he really helped me by giving me the acronym ICCIMOBI= I can choose in my own best interest. That if I was having a hard to saying no that I could say I would think about it then, figure a way out of it. He also taught me to always have plan A, B & C.= A I ask my friend to meet up with me to go see a movie, B if they can’t go, I could ask someone else or go alone, and plan C choose something to do just for myself to make me happy like arts or reading. This is something I still use till this day 17 years later, and I teach it to others. I consider myself totally blessed to have had such a great therapist. The psychiatrists were wonderful as well. The office staff back then was Sheryl or Lee at the front desk, they were ALWAYS so kind and helpful, my messages always got thru promptly. I highly recommend Alan Griffith .

I have been a client here for three years. The receptionist and front office staff have always been respectful and helpful. I have witnessed others giving them a hard time and being difficult. Respect is a two-way street. Nicole Bryant is absolutely fabulous - I could not ask for a better therapist! Dr. Glitz and I discuss treatment options and we discuss her recommendations. She does run behind at times but I know that is because some clients need a bit more time than others and she is very thorough. I never feel rushed when I'm meeting with her. Note: Mental health providers in Michigan are understaffed and stretched thin. Delays and wait times are common with almost every provider nowadays. Extending a little post-pandemic grace goes a long way.

Dr. Biddy is an extremely intelligent, knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy and compassionate person. She has shared her wisdom with me in a non-judgmental manner for decades. I don't know how I would've gotten through several tragedies without her. She cares deeply and listens thoroughly. She has a great deal of experience and WILL help you see and heal what you cannot. Don't hesitate to call her and stay as long as you can. You won't be disappointed. I highly recommend her.

I have struggled with addiction for 20 years. I've tried everything and was close to giving up. My previous doctor had told me there was nothing left he could help me with, and referred me to Mrs Bridget Przybyla. I couldn't be more grateful to her, I have been feeling better in these 2 years than ever before. Mrs. Bridget knew I could conquer my demons, and pushed me when I needed it. She also let me be myself, and listened quietly when I had to vent. She's been my therapist and doctor. I would refer anyone struggling with addiction, to come see Bridget Przybyla. She has helped me the most over my 20 years of addiction. She never judged me, or made me feel ashamed of myself. She is the best!

Dr TAGHAVI is a great doctor who cares and takes his time to listen to what you have to say too him and will explore every AVANUE with you if you don't agree with him on what he says is wrong with you he is not afraid of a second opinion at all but he is really good at fixing or diagnosing you issue at him and his staff are so polite and friendly its amazing he is one great doctor and his staff is awesome

I have prayed for some time now and I have faith that this is where I will get the help I need.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the staff I met here. I didn’t know that places like this existed and I’m more than pleased with how I was treated. You guys work with patience, compassion, diligence and all have huge hearts to take on a job like this. For someone like me who had nowhere to turn and nowhere to go this was the help that I needed and I cannot thank you all enough. Keep up the amazing work ❤️

I didn’t think I had time for recovery, but the flexible schedule and awesome staff made it possible! They respected my culture and never made me feel ashamed. Some of the group talks felt a little fast, but I learned so much. My family joined for a session too, which helped a lot. I feel stronger now, not alone.

This facility is, by far, the best in Michigan for mental health services. Something they offer that I've never received before was a case manager. Helps schedule appointments, checks in every month, arranges appropriate services based on what is most helpful to you, and provides resources on absolutely anything you may need. My case manager Abby even offered to help me on miscellaneous tasks such as going through/organizing paper stacks, basically anything you can think of, they are willing to help you with at the office. Case manager Abby even picked up clothing donations for my children as we had fallen on hard times. She has so many resources and she's been like an angel helping me manage things to make it easier on me so I can focus on therapeutic work. It's quite amazing the service I've received from Easter Seals. The psychiatrist, Dr. Linsk, is the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I've ever had. He takes time at every appointment to listen to me. He keeps up to date on the latest research. He's even been the first to give me new diagnosises that go beyond generalized anxiety, depression, ect. As for therapy, I had the pleasure of meeting the best therapist I've ever had, Emma. Emma has since left as she was an intern, however, my success story continued as I met my next therapist. I've been to at least 6 other mental health centers and I've never been given any other therapy besides basic CBT talk therapy. My first meeting with the new therapist, I tell her I've been working on this same issue for 10 years, she selflessly said she'd like me to try another therapist who is trained in Exposure Therapy as it may be a better help for me. That other therapist came right in to the room with us, talked, and we all agreed to try this and that I can go back to regular therapy after completion. They even offer group therapy but I've not used that service. The therapists here are young and fresh and are educated on the latest research. They have a drive of providing quality care that I've never experienced before. The whole office is the top standard of mental health services. My only adverse experiences have come from the front desk. I am aware of how hard it is to deal with patients at the front desk. They always have to handle the problems and are looked to for a solution. I've witnessed patients not speaking very kindly to the ladies at the front desk, however, I have a few issues with them myself. Any time I come into the office, I wait at the counter behind glass while nobody acknowledges my presence. I listen to their personal stories as the whole waiting room can hear them. Someone from the back usually pops in after me standing in front of the window for 5 minutes and finally assist me. I've been forgotten to be checked in twice. I've had therapists calling me from inside their office to ask if I was coming today as I was in the waiting room well on time. Front desk is probably one of the toughest and lowest paying jobs at the center, however the front desk needs a lot of guidance because their quality does not match the quality of the whole office. The front desk staff brings the whole office score down and I hope to see that change in the future because the front desk is the first encounter for most clients. A lot of people who will benefit from this location may be deterred because of the mishaps. But overall, best service in Michigan. I don't understand the negative reviews as I feel the complete opposite. Especially since I've been told and feel comfortable asking for a change in therapists or doctors if I'm not finding a good fit. Therapy works both ways. I'm sure with the quality mental health providers, you will find a good match. I'm so thankful to have found this location and I encourage others looking for quality care to reach out for assistance. This may just be the last road to recovery of your mental health you'll need to walk. They provide so much support. I don't know how they do it all! Thank you. You've all been angels in my life! :)

I haven't had much luck making a good connection with the therapists, partially my fault for not making more time. But the psychiatrists have truly been a godsend. When I first set my appointment in 2020, I really was on the verge of not existing. Now it's four years laters and I'm days away from a college degree. Dr. Linsk is very professional and goes the extra mile to make sure you get what's needed from appointments and medications don't run out.

Got some fresh eggs here. They were solid.

I went to the farm and stayed for a little over 3 months. The treatment duration is determined by the therapists. The shortest duration I saw was 2 1/2 months. Longest I saw was 4 months but most do around 90 days. I had moments I really loved the farm, and others where I felt like I hated it. Their rules are really strict and you’re there for a while. However, it did work for me. It was a long journey. I got yelled at for breaking rules, for sleeping in, and absolutely resented waking up early every morning to do work duties. Definitely cried a few times. By day 50 I was like “get me the heck out of here” but had months to go. But every time I got upset, I’d sleep on it and always decided to stay. Now I’m much better. I can wake up for an actual job early without a problem. I have more self control, more friends, more support, I try to follow the rules in real life situations, try to be a good person, and have a much more rewarding life overall. The Farm is really challenging but it does actually work if you listen to them and do what they tell you to do and don’t fight it. It’s hard to follow their schedule and rules every day for so long, but it just might change your life.

I went there for a couple years and met Maria as a counselor she really was understanding listened very well and out of my twenty counselors that I had in my life she was most understanding and the only one to believe me about a circumstance I was going thru because she another patient that was going thru the same trauma. And dr. Norwich who who is my specialist and after twenty years of being over prescribed meds that changed who I was I met him and he kept me on one med and I’m doing the best I have in a very long time. He’s so nice and very professional yet I feel very comfortable with and I need to get back into counseling so I will try to get Maria back whoever’s got them is very lucky

DWIC sent me here for care, this group of healthcare workers struggle with simple things like data entry and being courteous to people seeking assistance. They canceled my appointment with my caseworker without explanation because they finally figured out I didn't have insurance. They will collect funds for your initial visit and then kick you to the curb.Avoid this organization, they're a money pit with little accountability. More white collar folks collecting a check for being lazy and looking down on others. More bureacrats skimming, more corporate money laundering. Absolutely AVOID this is like mental health in the 80's...mean bigots.

leonard field did my intake and scheduled 4 appointments for me. he scheduled 3 of the 4 incorrectly. one was online where he told me it was in person. another was scheduled on MLK jr day, and i had to schedule that another week out. that same appointment was switched from online to in person without my knowledge. when i called to change it back, they refused to switch it “same day.” every single person i’ve spoken to on the phone or at the front desk has the nastiest attitude i’ve ever dealt with at a doctor’s office. it’s extremely difficult to deal with this when the entire reason i was sent here was for my severely degraded mental health and unrelenting suicidal thoughts. everyone in this organization should be ashamed of the way they treat their patients. unbelievable. i could’ve been in therapy 2 months ago, but i waited it out. turns out that was for absolutely nothing. i’ve never been so angry and disgruntled with a whole hospital system. i’ll be going back to one of the bigger ones that still treat you badly but they actually have their stuff together and don’t put the brunt of the work on the patient. absolutely ridiculous.

I had been going to eastwood clinic most of my life. I was seen at the office in novi then again in livonia. Run the other way from these people they do not care. My Dr in novi past away and they just kept calling meds. Every bit of my next 2 drs wouldn't take the time to evaluate me. And my counselor NEVER showed me any skills how to even work threw my anxity, ptsd, and other mental issues. I became very frustrated with my care here because everything was the same Noone was doing anything to better myself. It took me going to a totally different company. And guess what I was misdiagnosed for many many years. It took several weeks to come off of 5 meds that where wrong for me. 5 different meds used to treat conditions I didn't have. I signed all my paperwork to release my medical records to my new dr but eastwood clinic never sent them in almost a year. I personally have other stories but being misdiagnosed was enough for me. I'm thankful I had the courage to realize how wrong I was treated by the drs and unfortunately some staff down to the office manager. I gave up on them sending my medical records over to my new dr. But I would think before using any of these drs and counselors.

I have volunteered with DRMM since 1990. I have taken bus loads of people on urban tours of their sites and collected sheets, towels, hygiene etc. Their facilities meet a huge need in Detroit and Highland Park and are run by incredible people. They are the largest mission in the USA with all their sites and feed and house thousands each day. I highly recommend this wonderful charity.

I have been here with the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries for years and i have enjoyed every minute with the clients and staff!!!
