The amount of people complaining about wait times baffle me. We do not have many resources in Cleveland for mental help so they are under staffed and no a big facility. I agree with some of the comments about some of the workers but I have met also some of the most amazing people iv ever met with special hearts! Taking care of my mental was a big step this year for me. Hiwassee made me feel safe to do so and my care managers and therapist are god sent. And I don’t know if yall are complaining about the two ladies up front now but they are always so sweet and caring and try finding a plan if I need help. As far as resources at the end of every meeting I have they ask if I need any and if I need help with living somewhere. Dont let the negative comments bring you down! Make the decision for your family, kids, friends. Your life matters

I joined this program in 2020 and found Centered after attending a disappointing 12-step program that was shame based and hurtful. Upon arrival, I felt relieved to be involved in a recovery program that was/is thought based and intellectual. Learning and understanding the root of human normalcy and my way of thinking was so enlightening and empowering. I can go on and on-having the ability to truly think through my thoughts and feelings impacted/impacts how I process why I am making the decisions I make throughout my daily life. My want or need to harm myself or find refuge with a substance makes sense now and I use my analytical thought process more so now than ever in my life. It has now been over 2.5 years later and I’m not in recovery. I am not recovering. I am recovered. This is a cognizant decision I made and that decision is stable and has provided stability in my life. No substance is worth risking what my life now is-therefore, it never crosses my mind to mess with any substance. Mine was alcohol. The key term here being “was”. No liquor store, beer aisle, restaurant or drinking friend or occasion worries me at all. I thank Centered for assisting me in making good decisions now and never looking back. I still love checking in and I’ve been honest with my team and therapist at Centered along the way and never felt shame or embarrassment and I know I never will. What a wonderful team and powerful program. They get a 5 star for when I was in the program and for the owners who regularly check in on me even after 2.5 years. Thank you Krista and Reed

I had the privilege of working at Centered Recovery Programs in Roswell, GA, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience there. Watching them overcome hardships, form bonds, and grow into healthier, more fulfilled versions of themselves was both powerful and humbling. It was truly comforting to work in an environment where people care deeply—not only for clients, but for one another’s well-being—and where everything is done with others’ best interests at heart. Being part of Centered Recovery is an experience I feel so grateful to have had, and it will continue to impact me for the rest of my life. Centered Recovery Programs is more than just a treatment center—it’s a community built on compassion, mindfulness, and transformation. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking real, meaningful recovery.

Nice and respectful place

I went in last week for alcohol detox. The whole staff are angels that helped me get my life back. They took very good care of me and the others that were there for detox/ rehabilitation. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me. The facility was a little rough around the edges. But the staff was caring and helpful with anything I needed.

Emily my counselor is really nice. So is Sharonda when you first walk in.

My children receive services at Avita in Cleveland it's by far the best location in my opinion the front desk staff is always so engaging with my kids and the other staff is so engaging and empathetic my three favorite people in this office is the front desk, nurse, and male counselor. My daughter doesn't see him but he is always quick to check in with her about her day.

Ridgeview is one the nicest and cleanest hospitals I have been to! Their staff are friendly and welcoming and all attentive to patient needs. In my experience, Ridgeview will be/should be a preferred location for all patients needing care and looking for a great resource.
