I chose this clinic bc it accepted my insurance. It's over 60 miles from where I live and I was only going once a week so it wasn't an issue. But then one of the nurses that did the dosing told a flat out lie that cost me my take homes and now I have to go everyday. The lie that the dosing nurse told on me is gonna cost me my job bc I can't be late to work every morning. Or I can try to keep my job by only going every other morning but then I will be looking for something to stave off the withdrawals I might feel. So this clinic is either gonna cost me my job or most likely my sobriety. I haven't had any failed screens in years and I hope to keep it that way but it doesn't look promising. I pleaded with the clinic administrator to look at the camera footage to see that I was telling the truth. All I got was a letter basically telling me that "nope, I have to suck it up"

This place is very hands-on-If you have Medicaid it’s wonderful to go to.. Otherwise, you have to pay $15-19 a day! Out of pocket .
After five years, I finally found a place that takes my insurance that I have through work…
I was actually sad to go because I built a relationship with my counselor and the front desk attendant as well as the billing lady, but they never wanted to even try to run my insurance…
First time I've found a counselor that generally cares and I felt I could trust and who truly cares about you and your well-being. I'd recommend them if you need someone to see for your mental health care

I personally love her she understands my boys so we’ll give them so many different and positive ways to look at things she is so patient with them and definitely listens and for that I’m so appreciative.

My issue is mostly with the front desk staff. I am struggling mentally and emotionally with the passing of my child and was told by my employers to have a form filled out so that I may take the leave needed to grieve.The NP took a copy of the form and said she would bring it to her supervisor to see if it could be signed. I followed up a few times only to be told I would get a call back and when I called this final time I was rudely spoken to by a staff member and told that the NP had told me she would not sign it when that is not remotely true. The NP had taken the form and copied it and said she would take said copy to her supervisor. That she maid no promises but she will run it by her supervisor. At no point did she say she would not sign it and at no point was I given a call to be informed on whether or not she was able to get an approval by her supervisor. So to be rudely spoken to and to have someone do visibly annoyed but someone seeking assistance and to hear an employee of a mental health clinic huff and puff and sigh over the phone is absolutely insane. To be told to hold on and actually hear the phone slammed shut from the other end is so careless and harsh especially knowing the kind of people who are seeking help from this clinic are people in need.

Do not come here if you have probationer/DFCS evaluations to get done. When you call to set up your walk-in appt, the staff does not tell you that your case worker/PO needs to sign a request form & they will not see you if you don’t have it signed. Made my process longer by three weeks & was stressful.
This not only happened to me, but to two other people on separate days. I had to come in the first time- was told to do a walk in assessment & was faced with this issue.
I have yet to see the professional I was sent here to see, so this review is based on just the initiating processes alone- which are terrible & waste people’s time.
ETA: The staff themselves in the physical building are all doing their best with what they can. Obviously the state of communications is a result of lack of support from the State & local government. I really enjoyed my time with the staff I interacted with & I wish the best for those who work here.

I have been coming here for about 2 years and Ashley is always super sweet. They have always been professional and they have automated calls to remind you of your upcoming appointments. I'm very sad to see such bad reviews on here. I guess the only people that bother with a review is the people who have bad experiences. They have helped me so much!
Started taking my children here in 2008 or 2009. The staff is totally nice, polite. They all will help y'all any way they can. They deserve more kindness and respect from some patients. Thank y'all at liberty county gateway behavioral health.

I've only been once but will soon be going back. The wait was a tad long but other than that all the staff treated me with a smile on there face. I've never found a doctor that I wanted to talk bout my issues with but the doctor there really listen to me and didn't make me feel like I was broken. For the first time in forever I finally get out and enjoy life

Best. I have been with them for 8 months, I'm truly happy with their services.
I recently started receiving primary care at the Savannah VA Outpatient Clinic after having previously utilized the BNH location in Beaufort.
So far, in my experience the level of care has been superlative. The facility itself is clean and modern. The staff have all been top notch. The doctors, nurses, lab techs, and support personnel have all been courteous and competent. They genuinely and sincerely seem to care about their patients.
When's the last time a doctor called you personally at 1730 on a Friday afternoon to give you a non-emergent update on lab results? For me it was yesterday. That level of personal care is what I would expect from an elite private practice, not a government run clinic. I did not see that coming. Five stars all day long. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I can honestly say this was the best healthcare experience my husband and I have had outside of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. From start to finish, the VA clinic in Savannah was organized, efficient, and filled with genuinely kind people.
Special thanks to Dr. Cynthia Carter and her wonderful assistants, Shannon and Regina, who made my husband’s very first VA visit outstanding. After his two years of service in Vietnam, we’d avoided the VA because of horror stories—but today changed everything.
The building was welcoming, the staff went above and beyond, and we left feeling grateful and impressed. I’d give them a 10/10 if I could—and that’s saying a lot, because I don’t hand out glowing reviews easily.
Very friendly and they really do care and want to see their patients do.well and get their lives back. Ms. Sonya and her team are the best. They were there for me always. I will always be appreciative.

Many of the staff on the transition ward (Taylor, Kiki, Anna, Selena) were very compassionate. The recreational therapist was awesome, and I am confident in the adjustment to my medication regime. I certainly showed much improvement after my week there. I do think the facility does need some updates in terms of consistent heating / air, additional exercise equipment or physical activities, also more books or a chaplain for spiritual development.

My son age 15 was here for almost a week in 2025 all the doctors and nurses were very informative and helpful always nice and understanding, they would answer all my questions and ease my mind when I was worried. My son also agreed it was a great place for him to get better I’m glad he had such a great support system there for him, he is doing so much better special thanks to the therapist she was great with him. I know the reviews for this place aren’t the best but the kids unit is a great place for kids who need help. Thanks for all yall did for my and my son

My wife did good down there she learned coping skills and how to accept herself the staff was wonderful and caring
I was referred to New Day Counseling through work and had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Tim Strickland and his wife Lorri. They were absolutely amazing with the solutions that helped me recognize and manage my everyday life better. I feel I am back to a more positive and recognizable version of myself. My decision to enroll in and complete the intensive outpatient program at New Day Counseling was one of the best decisions of my life. The group therapy sessions, the private therapy sessions, and the educational classes were of the highest quality. This program has given me not only an understanding of my struggle with alcohol use disorder but the tools to manage it and live a more successful and fulfilling life. I highly recommend this program for any and all individuals suffering from the disease of addiction.

I'm a patient at Newday counseling, and I called there seeking professional help. There, I've found people that they were willing to help me get started with my process. Professionalism is what I found, people who knew about my addiction and are willing to educate me. There, I've found a lot more than what I expected, there is a 24 hour hot line, with a the other end willing to talk with me about issues that I was having problems with, and help me understand my addiction. I go to this place four times a week, under three different counselors. That communicate well with each other to help me Even when I don't feel like listening to the professional side of addiction, I still leave there what's something. When NewDay counselors encounter a person that wants to do something with their life they dig in just as deep as I did. For that I am truly grateful.........

My husband came home in April from his stay at Bridges. As a spouse I can’t say enough good things about this rehab. This was his fourth rehab at other places and hopefully the last. The program is fair, AA balanced and the guys have to work to stay. It is extremely well run and organized and the guys know what to expect. The camaraderie between staff and residents is genuine and the program works if one wants it to. I am very thankful to Chad and his guys for aiding my husband in his sobriety. One day at a time.

I wasn’t to happy at the start because I had to drive over a 110 miles for 90 days and and you can’t imagine how hard of a task that is when you are a working person, and I cried about my dose forever, trying to get clean, but once I got to the right dose I got it done. The doctor was great. The nurses was great. My counselor Cody was great just getting over. That first hump was almost impossible but I’m clean again thank you when someone’s trying. Try to give them a little lead way it could be the difference in them getting well.

This treatment center is hands down the best one I’ve ever been to. Get ready cause my review is going to be a long one.
Their rules might be alittle more strict on things than other clinics but the people who work there make it worth it.
Cliff is the best counselor I’ve ever been to. Not only has he helped me understand more about my addiction but he’s helped me heal from some extremely traumatic and painful things that have happened in my life. He has helped me learn to laugh at myself, and I trust him , which is something I am not able to do very easily at all anymore with people. I don’t think
there’s anything I wouldn’t tell him. He’s helped me in beginning to forgive people , especially myself.
Miss Lorraine is firecracker and sweetheart all in one. She is fair and kind and she doesn’t pull punches. She’ll do anything in the world to help someone who is willing to help themself but she’s no pushover and she expects the best in us. I have grown to love her and have enormous respect for her. And I’m grateful to her for everything she’s done to help me with my recovery. She has encouraged me in ways she doesn’t even realize.
Nita!! One of the nurses. I adore Nita. If you want the truth, you ask Nita. She will encourage you, help anyway she can, but she will give you a swift kick in your behind if you need it. And I love that about her..she’s real! I always miss her when she’s out. Nita can make me laugh when no one can.
I could go on and on about so many of them like Miss Cindy, Melissa, Sonya, Miss Sharon, Cody..each and all of them are very special to me in their own way.
Cody is just getting started but I can already see he’s going to help a lot of people who desperately need it in his career. He was born to do this. He’s a great listener and he genuinely cares. His empathy for this struggle is genuine.
Each of us have our story about how we got to this place in our life. Some started recreational drug use, some from an injury and started with prescription, some started from an injury and came to depend on the prescription to get thru mental pain as much as the physical. Some started trying to numb the mental pain that had nothing to do with physical pain.Whatever your reason may be, I pray you’ll be able to get the help you need to be able to recover from it.
I do know this, if you truly are sincere in wanting help and to get better..and you do the work and are honest with them, this group of people at Reliance will be there to help you thru it. Find which counselor is your “fit” and show up everyday and decide you want your life to get better and with God and the help of this group of people and your willingness to change and you can do it!
I never thought my life would be this much better just 6 years ago. I didn’t care if I lived or died. But I owe a lot of it to the people at this clinic who stuck with me and believed in me and encouraged me to keep doing the next right thing. I still have a ways to go..but thankfully I have their support to be able to do it.
I found help, kindness and genuine support here… not just a daily dose. Thank you to all the people at Reliance because yall are all very special to me. ❤️

Yesterday the volunteer went out of the way to make sure I had a vegan meal to eat. Went at 8 PM hard a great speaker plus I gained another wisdom on the physiology of homelessness it requires patience which the staff and volunteers try to put into practice

Unless something has really changed in the 3 years since my daughter was an inpatient, these comments on the 1 star reviews are way off base. Read them with skepticism.
Recovery Place has over 30 years experience and would not be around if it was not working. Recovery Place was just what my daughter needed and saved our lives.
This is the best place in Savannah for addiction treatment . The groups are full of all willing participants. They provide great education and wonderful individual counseling. I have experienced other treatment programs and this was by far the best I’ve been involved with. I just wish more people knew about it.

I'm beyond impressed with the professionalism the staff offers my personal practice when I refer a client there. And I appreciate how individualized their treatment services are created to the patient uniquely. Love working with this group...
I'm not a fan of their intake process, which I find more complicated than necessary. However, that's just my personal opinion, as mental health is not my field of expertise.
The purpose of this review is to highlight the excellent service I received today from the receptionist, Ty Hutto. The level of professionalism, customer service, and kindness were truly commendable.
At first it was a bit of a change but had it not been for God and the love mess. Iris Mrs Mary Mrs bo and the ladies there is not be alive today. By the grace of God I've been clean nearly 16 yrs. I'm grateful for this place. I was mandated 6 months and stayed 14. I got my GED although I walked out I still hung on to what I learned and used the tools daily to stay clean.
