My fiancé currently does not have insurance and is unemployed at this time. I called Pathways on Monday and asked if they saw patients without insurance and the girl, her name was Ashley I believe, was very helpful and let me know that they do see patients without insurance and walked me through how to get him in. We went to the Department of Labor on Monday and got his income verification, then went to Pathways Tuesday morning early as a walk-in because that’s what you have to do to be seen for free. We got lucky and he was seen within 30 minutes of getting there! Every person that works there was pleasant and friendly. The staff at the front were friendly to every patient that came in, and they actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, and truly care about making sure patients got the help they need. I heard them communicate with people over the phone as well, and they were friendly and helpful. I have a lot of experience with doctor’s offices, and worked in many myself, and it is refreshing to be greeted by friendly, helpful, non- judgmental staff. Thank you SO much for your help today, you have no idea how much it means to me personally, but to my fiancé as well. 🙏🏻

Absolutely LOVE my doctor an therapist. If you need a good therapist an doctor therapist I HIGHLY recommend Deanna an doctor Knight-Nelson. Both of them work with you an don’t judge you at all. The staff in general is professional an really nice. I travel an almost an hour an honestly it’s worth the drive !!!!

I’ve always had issues transferring to a VA when I move. The staff there not only got me a walk in appointment to mental health, but also got me a intake appointment in like 5 minutes, to make Newnan my main office. Very nice staff and very good with patients

This was my first time using the VA for medical and it was a pleasant experience. I requested an appointment online and was called a couple of days later to confirm the date and time. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The front secretary wasn’t exactly warm, but otherwise everyone was very friendly. Dr. Bigoms and the staff at the eye clinic took their time with me and made me feel like I mattered. That doesn’t happen often in healthcare anymore, unfortunately.

Is this place the best. No, but the nurses care most of them. The staff that are not nurses care, most of them. Are you going to have all your problems wiped away. No, but it's a safe place. The kitchen staff deserves a good call out they try and its good. Is this going to solve everything. Not by a long shot but its ok. Staff cares or they seem like they do.

We have been with Tanner for 3 years now and have been through our fair shares of different staff members in that short time. I am starting as guest dosing and will become perm patient this week and I did read ALL reviews prior to going. I have to disagree with these bad reviews EVERYONE from the front desk (Tracey) to the nurse was extremely kind and extremely helpful. I was never made to feel like they were talking about me I felt so comfortable which is why I chose to go here permanently. If you are looking for help don’t wait and waste your life and money on the streets I waited to long years thinking I needed to go to a clinic and finally started 2 years ago and life has changed for the better and it will for you too. All that said I agree with another reviewer that once you start this your stuck BUT it’s better than looking on the streets for pills etc... your can change your life for the better with MAT it was the right choice for me don’t keep waiting start today!

I have attended other methadone clinics but this one actually cares about me. I'm not treated like an addict. They treat you like a person and don't think they are better than you. All the staff care and take the time to help me when I need something. I have been coming here for several years now and have never had a problem. They helped me get clean and I've been clean for 2 years now. Awesome place!

Place is great for youth. The staff genuinely care about the kids and want them to succeed. I was a client there and they really helped me out and helped me accomplish my goals. Only problem is that they need and deserve more funding.

No program is perfect, but Brett and his team care deeply about helping those with the disease of addiction. They understand for many it takes long term intervention and supervision to give those in most need of help the best chance at a real life. I came to the reprieve in 2019 at age 23, certain I would never see age 30. And I turn 30 this Wednesday and it would not have been possible without A Reprieve for men.

I want people to understand something important about the program. When you complete it and leave, the medications they use as “crutches” (like SSRIs) are not designed to be permanent solutions — but they don’t really prepare you for what happens when you try to come off them.
In my case, when I finished the program, I was left with nothing but “good luck.” No tapering support, no real plan, no follow-up guidance. The withdrawal from SSRI medication was a horrific experience, and I had to seek out a separate doctor on my own afterward just to cope.
People should know going in: the program does provide structure and tools while you’re there, but the aftercare is lacking, especially around medication dependence. Be ready to advocate for yourself and find outside medical support when you leave.

This place literally saved my life, my career, and my family. I was "functioning" in my opinion, but I was really blind to what was happening around me.
My marriage was falling apart, my career was spiraling slowly downwards, my kids had a parent who was always drinking at home, and who might show up to a soccer game or a cheerleading contest drunk and loud and embarrassing.
The truth was that I was dying in front of my kids and my spouse, my job was dying, but I thought I was living.
I too came here under the "6 to 8 week" suggestion, but I knew how it goes. Admissions will usually tell someone that just to get them in. I was not naive in that fashion.
Yes, some reviews say "bait and switch" or "I was told this at the beginning", but what they are not telling you is that everyone gets evaluated when they first get here, and based on cognitive tests, and how messed up you and your life are, patients either leave a little earlier, right on time, or they need a little more time (like me).
I figured that I drank and used drugs for years, and that it would take more than under two months for me to even begin to get better.
I learned new skills, got great therapy and education and care from the staff, and after 3 1/2 months I came back home. I work in television production, and my co-workers and bosses were so supportive and understanding. My family...took a little while before the trust and love came back, but it did eventually, and it feels good because I put in a lot of hard work.
Listen, I know a lot of people come to treatment for the "band aid" to fix whatever problem is slapping them in the face. But if you really, truly want to get well, get sober, and get the kind of help you need, there is no better place than Talbott. You might have to stay a little longer than those other "spin-dry" types of rehabs that just keep recycling patients who keep relapsing, but I swear this place works miracles. I am living proof.

To my surprise, this year has been the biggest blessing I could have received. The staff at Hope Harbor care about their clients and helped me cope immensely with my situation. As funny as it may seem, the clients and staff became like a second family to me. The groups are set to help those dealing with mental health and substance abuse issues, and it did just that. I’ve not only seen my life change before my eyes, but I’ve seen other clients excel and become an even more beautiful version of themselves. Self love is something many battle with daily, but the staff encourage and show clients different ways to show love for themselves and others. I have been inspired and filled with honor to witness the change in others and myself. Thank you for everything Hope Harbor. I would recommend this place above all others.

Hope Harbor Wellness Gave Me My Life Back
Walking into Hope Harbor Wellness after completing detox from fentanyl, I was overwhelmed, unsure, and full of fear. I didn’t know what to expect — and like many in early recovery, I was skeptical. But from the very beginning, something felt different here. I was immediately welcomed with warmth, compassion, and a sense of safety that I hadn’t felt in years.
The staff at Hope Harbor are truly one-of-a-kind. They are not just professionals — they are people who genuinely care, deeply and selflessly. They don’t clock out when the day ends. There is support here 24 hours a day. Whether you need someone to talk to, cry with, vent to, or just sit quietly beside so you don’t feel alone, there is always someone there. That kind of constant, unconditional presence made all the difference for me. I never felt judged — only seen, heard, and understood.

This place was more comfortable to me than home when I had issues with alcohol intake, the staffs are more than welcoming, their ways of addressing your issues are just topnotch. I really can't refer to a particular staff cos they're all the same, one common interest, to give help to those that need it.
Group meetings were just amazing, I found out I started being bold because of them, today am a completely different person from who I used to be, thanks to this place.
I strongly recommend this place anyone who truly seek any kind of mental health treatment.
I have them on my mind always.
Thanks once again for transforming my life from bad to good.

I had an excellent experience at Atlanta Detox Center and truly cannot say enough about the quality of care I received. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff treated everyone with genuine care and respect, which made a difficult process so much easier to go through.
The classes and group sessions were extremely beneficial in getting newly sober as well.
I want to give a special shout-out to my case manager, Christian. He went above and beyond for me—helping with my FMLA paperwork, answering all of my questions, and always showing patience and understanding throughout the process. Having someone so attentive really made a difference.
I also want to recognize the behavioral health techs. They were consistently kind, caring, and helpful towards all clients, and it showed that they truly care about the people they work with.
Overall, Atlanta Detox Center made a challenging step in my life feel achievable and supported.

This establishment has helped mu loved one who was an alcoholic. Original Mike has helped me as well with his family group classes. He’s helped me understand the addiction and things I can do to contribute to his recovery. Without these groups he would not be able to help all the families he’s helped. Thank you Original Mike and everyone else at this facility for all the help with him and us (his loved ones).
