RCA Westminster was a truly transformative experience for me. I went into inpatient somewhat unwillingly, but because of the wonderful RSS staff, medical staff, counselors, and group leaders I quickly became truly committed to my sobriety. The fellowship that was fostered there was so important to so many of us in the men's unit. I want to specifically thank Kyle, Niana, Calee, JoJo, Angel, Peter, Mike, Bella, Seth, and Katie for all the caring and work that they put in everyday. After inpatient I did IOP which has been essential to continuing my recovery as I move forward. Thanks again to Peter and Kyle, and also to Mark who has been a great help in transitioning back into real life. I will never forget what the people at RCA Westminster did for me.
Also, a huge shout out to the custodial staff that have to deal with some truly horrendous situations! they are incredible, and I am sure do not get paid nearly enough for what they do.

Being a client at Paramount Recovery Centers, makes me feel dignified and like I have hope. The staff here are absolutely amazing and are willing to go to any length to help in any way they can. From the BHT's to the therapist even going all the way to the top. Everyone who works here has everyone's best interest at heart and it shows with every interaction you'll have. What a life changing experience! I have too many good things to say to list them all here. The buildings and the grounds are new and well maintained. The staff are all wonderful and go above and beyond for every client. I got to see first hand how hard everyone, frome the cleaning staff on up to the directors how hard they work for us and how much they care. The clinical staff are so knowledgeable and caring. I felt like everyone there was working on all my issues with such a drive and the highest level of competency. The recovery specialists do a food job of fostering a positive and safe group culture. I was especially impressed with Katie, who's commitment to the clients was demonstrated daily by her caring, upbeat, positive nature and willingness to go above and beyond for every client, all day, everyday. A big thank you to Katie and to Rose, Erin, Nikki and all the others who helped me change my life so drastically for the better in such a short 28 days. There are recovery centers out there doing good work and recovery centers doing great work. This place is doing phenomenal work. They help people make lasting changes in their lives. Thank you all!

This is a wonderful detox and treatment center! They will get you sober and give you the tools and resources that you’ll need to stay sober. Kind, caring, knowledgeable people (Case Managers, Recovery Specialists, nurses, food service staff, cleaning staff), nice, clean facilities, good food! Couldn’t ask for more. The folks at NERC truly care about you and your recovery. Special shout-out to Case Managers Sara, Tara, Brittany, Grace and Diana, as well as Recovery Specialists Pam, Gretchen, Danny, Nikki, Nikyrah, Esmeralda, Lauren, and all others whom I haven’t mentioned by name. Rose is an amazing family therapist. There are a lot of great, caring folks working here who truly want to help you! They also offer free, confidential family support through their Magnolia program. I highly recommend New England Recovery Center for detox and Clinical Stabilization Service (CSS).

I came into this program as an older woman, scared and unsure of what to expect. This was my very first time in treatment, and after coming from an inpatient program where I honestly felt like I was treated more like an animal than a person, I didn’t know what I was walking into. From the first day, the staff and clients made me feel welcome and safe. I wasn’t seen as just a diagnosis here, I was seen as a human being. That meant everything to me. The groups were supportive, the staff truly cared, and I felt like my voice mattered. This program gave me hope and reminded me that healing is possible at any age. I’m grateful I came here and would recommend it to anyone who feels nervous about starting treatment.

I attended this IOP for dual diagnosis, and I can’t say enough good things. All the staff were incredible, from the director to the techs. The groups and therapists were supportive and truly helpful. I was there during a time when they were short-staffed, and they never missed a beat always making sure clients’ needs were met. Huge shoutout to Nick and Jodi, who really hold the place together and make it feel safe and welcoming. I’d recommend BHR to any family or friends struggling, this program truly makes a difference

Came off 170 mgs of methadone without any major problems. I slept, ate, and was overall content. Nursing and tech staff made the stay what it should be. I’m not really a taker but sometimes a smile from a random staff would get me out of the funk. They reduced my methadone 10mg a day from 170 until 20mg. I thought I would feel awful at 20 but the only problem I had was high blood pressure and sweating. All symptoms I could deal with. It’s detox! You’re not going to like everything about it!
Atlanta, Mark, Christine, Joe, JAMIE! No techs or nurses ever made me feel like I was a bother. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get off a substance. Especially methadone, in I feel 1000 times better without that crap in my body. I live in NJ, only one place would take my ins. The rest would only detox from methadone of a 30-40mg dose. Sunrise did not rush me and kept their word I wouldn’t receive surprise bills. They even didn’t bill me for things they should have. Shortly before I went there I was on a ventilator. I am Doing the work but this place helped get me across the line. If you complain here it’s your addiction talking. Has your addiction ever been correct with advice? Great place!

I have had an opiate dependence from the age of 18 after a severe accident i have struggled for 25 years i never have had such a pleasant experience with such a professional helpful staff that didnt judge me first time in 20 years there intake almost brought me ro tears i was so grateful completely different than any other dosing clinic and i have used them from mass to California even Tijuana i highly recommend this place and i am so grateful to have luckily picked this clinic in order to avoid everyone i know so i dont have any screw ups in my recovery nothing has ever worked or felt comfortable im amazed by ther professionalism amazing

I've been at Merrick Street for nearly a year, and my experince has been truly amazing. Spectrum staff members are caring, well-educated and passionate about helping each client on an individual basis. The level of care far exceeds that of other programs. I started my 'journey' at Sisters of Providence in Holyoke, and (apart from my clinician -- who was amazing!), it felt like conveyor-belt-style care. Now, that was a 2-hour round-trip commute every morning, but Information about Spectrum (20 minutes away) was hidden from me (despite my inquiries) for months because it was a separate organization and they likely didn't want to lose me as a paycheck -- I mean patient.
Spectrum is the total opposite. It has changed my life. I wasted years fearing a program, and the stigma attached. But I realized-- since I was already dealing with the stigma of having fibromyalgia and chronic pain, it made no difference, and I needed to try -- for me. Since entering, I have met so many incredible people, shared and heard many incredible stories, and in a way, I am proud to be part of something so positive.

The place saved my life and gave me the opportunity to stop and take 6 months and do what I had to live a new way. I fell down a few times after leaving but Nov 8 will be 6 years clean and I owe alot to the Channing House and my Channing Brothers.

Channing House, which is a Halfway House now operated by Advocates, is probably the most successful men's substance abuse house in Worcester County and probably one of the 5 best or most successful programs in Massachusetts. It is a fully accredited 6 month substance abuse residential program. However, they let me stay for 8 1/2 months because the staff agreed with me that I wasn't ready yet. I've been to well over 25 halfway houses and at least 15 different sober houses...and Channing House is by far the best and most successful program in Worcester County.

Since I started going here about 4 years ago I got a great therapist named Justin Mertz. We hit it off on day one and had a great professional relationship up to his untimely death. I was assigned a new therapist named Lindsay Fox. Her and I hit it off great. Lindsay and I are working hard on my care just like I had with Justin. We do a 50/50 conversation. Also I had very good interactions with the Nurse Practitioners at New Beginnings. They all are great and good resources for psychiatric medications. Thank you all at New Beginnings. Clean, and Safe Facility
This place is very clean and well taken care of. You can really tell they prioritize safety and comfort for everyone there. There are always plenty of staff around, which helps things run smoothly and gives a sense of security. I also love that they have spaces for group activities, a gym area, and even outdoor spots where people can relax and get some fresh air. It feels like a place that truly cares about both mental and physical wellbeing.

WBH has been wonderful, we've been to others but this time around it has made a difference. Everyone is kind, professional and understanding. My daughter still wants to go to the group meetings on Thursday without difficulty. She also looked forward to going to the outpatient program as well and she can be quite picky and stubborn.
