I was just passing through Freeport, Illinois, when this building caught my attention. It stood out enough that I decided to stop and take a closer look. There's something about its architecture and presence that makes it hard to miss. I didn't spend a lot of time there, but I'm glad I stopped by. Excellent professional service, AFFORDABLE evaluation price, great staff, next day appointment, unbiased assesment, and much more offered at this location. The counselor, Jack Phillips, evaluated me on 1/15/2019. We talked for about an hour and he DID NOT recommend additional treatment or classes. He was attentive and listened to what I was saying about what and why I was ordered for an evaluation. $$$$ WAS NOT his motive; an accurate assessment was his focus. Jack thanks again for the job recommendations and I appreciate your services. Ashleigh (the receptionist) was VERY helpful!!! She gave me plenty of copies of the evaluation assesment, and even faxed proof of the evaluation to the concerning parties. I could not be happier with Changes Place and its business; I was treated like a person not a customer or dollar sign!!!! Thanks again, your the BEST!!!

What an awesome experience! The uncertainty I felt walking through those doors the first time quickly evaporated. My counselor was great, patient, open, understanding, honest, were a few things about her that made my experience fruitful. The knowledge I obtained was/ is invaluable. But anyways unable to get records from old building, for my certifications , anyways needed record as to why there was a release of info from rock county to green county wi, odd. But hey they never tell you that anyway. Most valuable intuition you know is the ones who do a 360 turn around for multiple years on end due to multiple losses and extreme grief all within the same time frame, but ya live and move on. Woodviolet recovery is a wonderful place to go for mental health reboot! It helped so much to ge things straightened out in my head and realize it’s no my fault that I feel do and say the things I do it’s my depression I just need to stop think and redo! And we are like a plant we need food water and sun to flourish and without one of those we don’t perform well!!! I have met so many great people and the people that work here really really care they give thier all!!! But I have to say my therapist is just wonderful!! Let’s start with Melissa W. Melissa. W is the best. She’s kind and has a lot of patience and works very hard. Anytime someone needed to speak with her she opened her door right up. She does kind things for people and goes out of her way to make sure a client is comfortable. She always smelled like a breath of fresh air. So that’s why I’m shocked to see a review from Bri Marie below that states she was the total opposite. I want people to know what Bri stated isn’t true at all. In fact Bri should know that making false complaints to a state agency about someone or a facility is illegal. Bri you have one person to back you up but Melissa has a whole army to back her up. We know what the real truth is. Second, Therapist Tammy.K be aware of her. She’s bad news, and it’s sad I didn’t come to my senses about her true character sooner. She victim shamed me in our last session. I was talking about the trouble teen industry and read her my narrative from my journal and she victim shamed multiple times she told me I’m the reason why I arrived there, I’m the reason they drugged me up on medication and even justified them putting me in seclusion for a week. Then she will turn around and say you don’t take responsibility for your feelings or behaviors. She’s a sick woman. Please be careful if you have her as a therapist. Third, My discharge didn’t go as planned and it was a little odd and made zero sense at all. It’s a little fishy because I don’t know who’s telling the truth behind the reasoning of my discharge and who’s not. But I will never forget this place. Made new friends and learned a few things and majority of the staff were very kind. Fourth, The nurses section omg some nurses are great but I’m not a fan of them filling meds behind my back, then putting my pills in another persons bag. The nurses station has a lot of work to do.

They were very willing to help us and even assisted us with the process of applying for insurance for the expectant mother. The entire team was professional, kind, and compassionate. The hospital was extremely clean, like a large hotel. When we first arrived, we felt very nervous because of the language barrier, but they kindly provided interpretation services online for us. Within just a few hours, they completed all the tests, including blood work, urine tests, and ultrasound. We are very grateful and will always remember this experience. America is truly compassionate—especially here in Dubuque, Iowa, where the doctors and medical staff are not only skilled but also ethical and kind-hearted. We also noticed Christian statues and images in the hospital, which made us feel even more comforted and trusting. The receptionist (Kathy I believe) is such a sweet lady!! I enjoyed talking with her while I was checking in and she was extremely helpful. My counselor was Sheila and she was also very enjoyable to speak to and extremely empathetic. She gets straight to the point but is also a great conversationalist in between. Both Sheila and Kathy were helpful in ensuring I could create a schedule that worked for me. I called Thursday and had an appointment by Friday morning. I was very nervous at first, but felt welcome and comfortable by the end. I highly recommend choosing ASAC.

Jackie the PT is the best! I recently had a knee replacement and under her tutelage I have advanced and improved my flexion and extension. I mention this because ten years ago I had my other knee done and did not receive adequate PT. Jackie has me doing things I never learned previously. Besides the therapy she is a really upbeat person that is able to connect with people. As I noted in a previous review, everyone at the VA in Dubuque are really exemplary and helpful. I have used three VA centers over a forty year period and this is the best service I ever received. My primary care provider Lana a PA and her nurse Deb are the very best! All the other people I have had contact including Rachel the pharmacist and all the front desk people are really great. They return calls and are always polite and efficient. The lady who takes blood work--a combat vet herself--always goes above and beyond. Sorry I forgot her name but no less a critical member of a highly efficient team. Give all my highest recommendation.

Been going to the rt2 Sinnissippi Centers for over 16 years now off and on. It took a while to get to a point that I feel I'm getting the help I need as I came from other facilities that weren't helping me. Over the years I've had quite a few therapists and some were not a good fit but most have been genuinely concerned about my mental health. Not only do the councilors care but there are several programs to help people with just about anything they struggle with. I've recommended Sinnissippi to many people who have expressed wanting help and know a few who are now going there and are getting help. I've also seen people go with the idea that it will be a quick fix and that's just not how these things work. It takes time and repetition to get ourselves to a better mind state. This is the place to do it.

The treatment provided by both Mike and Kim is beyond incredible, they have differing dynamics of counseling that complement eachother in ways that have helped me with so much more than alcoholism rehabilitation.
