It's so clean and the food is something that I can't explain how good it was. I mean we had lamb chops for lunch full salad bar with a gourmet chef. I banged head alittle with clinical staff only to realize they were trying to help me. To which I am truly sorry about. I spent 4 weeks there and even the other patience became like family was truly a wonderful group that made all the difference. I'm not going to say it was all fun but through bouts of depression and PTSD! Things can really get dark... And I really want to thank Mike C for helping through my darkest period.. He sat with me and talked to me about what I need to do and how to get through what I was dealing with and I never had someone to help me like that before. I was all alone. I scheduled a telehealth ppointment for an assessment. My appointment was at 10 i clocked out of work for the meeting i never received a call, email or anything stating that the therapist was running late. 40 mins later still nothing the receptionist said she emailed the therapist (which I dont kmow if that happened or not but I wasted time from work and I got in trouble cause I was later than I told my employer.
This is why people who have any problems (whatever they may be) never get help cause they people who are supposed to help you dont. Its a joke to say the least.
With that being said I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone!!!!

I went into Acsenda for an evaluation about my ADHD and anxiety — the real reasons I needed help. The evaluator instead fixated almost entirely on depression, ignoring the root issues I came to address.
Before the evaluation even began, I was told that if I said anything “detrimental,” joking or otherwise, I’d be detained and placed on a 72-hour hold. That threat destroyed any trust and made it impossible to speak openly.
When I requested a simple work release to save my job, Dona Jones shut me down instantly. No discussion, no attempt to understand, no basic human decency — just a cold refusal that directly cost me my livelihood.
While the evaluation itself was mishandled, it was Dona Jones who had the final opportunity to do the right thing — and chose not to. The result? Lost income, unnecessary stress, and a total breakdown in trust.
Even an AI has been more attentive, consistent, and solution-focused with my therapy needs than Acsenda has ever been. And that should be embarrassing for a school claiming to prepare professionals in the real world.
If you value your career or your dignity, avoid putting yourself in a position where Dona Jones has any say over your future. She will not help you when it matters most — and she has been equally helpful with my therapy needs, which is to say, not at all.

Sunrise cherry hill was a godsend. The nurse Sydney is absolutely the sweetest person you'll ever meet. I went there over a year ago and and she remembered me and made sure my stay there was comfortable. Unfortunately I've stayed at quite a few other facilities and NEVER was treated with such respect and kindness that she treated me with. She deserves a raise lol!
On the other hand..I made a very good friend in my time staying there..we kept in touch and we were both struggling. I was trying to be a good girlfriend and put my own health aside waiting waiting for him. I now know know that I need further assistance than just detox . He's not even. Being a decent human being/and/or being nice about it. I tried called the Sterling location 5 times where my friend is. She told me there is in IN FACT beds available but the person on the phone wasnt so friendly..almost demeaning. He said "just because there's beds available doesn't mean there's beds available". I was very confused...almost like he didn't want to help me save my life. And he was just annoyed to be answering the phone. He told me over and over in an annoyed and stern voice as I was in tears to call back at 9am. Im just lucky im not someone who is WAY more fragile and sensitive amd nothing terrible happened 🥺

High Focus has been pivotal to my success in understanding, as well as coping with my mental health. I have gone through the program twice in 5 years and this time around was fantastic. Kellie my clinician was excellent, she was compassionate, understanding, and really pushed me when I desperately needed to be pushed. All the clinicians who ran the groups were fantastic, Karyn, Ashley, Taylor, Kellie, Kendall, you all have made such positive impacts on my life. I had such a wonderful experience during my labor and delivery stay at Morristown Medical. From the moment I arrived at the admission desk to the incredible care I received from every nurse, pediatric doctor, OBGYN, tech, nursery staff member, and even housekeeping—everyone was exceptionally kind, accommodating, and supportive across both day and night shifts. We delivered our baby on a very busy night, yet our entire stay was absolutely perfect. This clinic isn't perfect by any means, but it is better than any other one I've ever been on. They give you the "cherry" syrup methadone instead of the b.s. water kind, they don't force you to do i.o.p. or groups or anything like that. And the line is usually not too bad all things considered. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants the help. Also, they offer a lot of help with other aspects of your life including employment and mental health services, as well as helping you with getting your foodstamps or medicaid turned on if you need that. Haven't met any staff member there that hasn't gone above and beyond for me to help with every issue that has come up.
UPDATE: so I've been on and off this program like 4 or 5 times. On it now. And of course since the last time I was there which was about 2 years ago there is only one or two of the same staff there. Big turnover rate. But seems like alot of less people on the program or maybe more people getting take home bottles because there is never a line when I go. And they don't allow anyone to "hangout" for like 4 blocks in any direction to prevent the b.s. that goes on outside every clinic in America. I gotta say it's still the best spot I've been to and I've been on at least 5 different ones in ny and nj

I've been to several methadone clinics and Greenwich House is by far the best. Staff is very friendly, accommodating, and professional. If you're looking for a methadone clinic go here, dont waste your time anywhere else. I was medicated on the first day. They dont force you to go to groups. The counselors are very helpful and they have on site medical and mental health services.
Update!
Today, 7/17/23, was my last day at Greenwich House. A few months ago I had been on 210 mg of methadone for about 4 years and decided it was time to get off. So I began to taper down relatively fast dropping 10 mg per week. When I got to 20 mg I slowed down to 5 mg decreases per week. Anyway, when I got down to 5 mg I decided to go down to 2 mg and that was today. I got my weeks worth of 2 mg bottles and when they're gone I'll be totally off methadone. I did this with no withdrawal symptoms or cravings. And I have not touched dope since I began the program on 4/27/19. I'm so proud of myself and this is a total success story. There is such a stigma about methadone. People say it's like "liquid handcuffs" or that it controls your life and it's impossible to get off and it's just replacing one drug with another, but I'm proof that none of that is true. Methadone saved my life and when I felt I didn't need it anymore I got off, simple as that. I would like to thank my counselor Sophia and Marlene from the medical department for both always being so supportive and accommodating. They genuinely care about all of their patients and deserve mentioning although all the staff is very caring, helpful and professional. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are struggling with addiction. They WILL help you.

Was brought in via EMS, admitted for 2 nights and 3 days in the adolescent unit. The hospital staff are incredible, caring and always smiling at all hours. The night neuro team came in while I was having an episode, instead of just making sure I was medically stable they held my hand and reassured me that they were right next to me and I'd be ok- all at 3 in the morning! Shout out to Nurses Kim, Sam, Heather; all the rest of the nurses in Adolescents; Doctor Sarah Yavelberg and the Peds team; and Art Therapist Christiana and Child Life Specialist Jasdeep 🩷🩷! I definitely felt safe, taken care of, listened to, validated and understood during my hospitalization.
Additionally, the place is very clean, aesthetically appealing, and well-designed. There was a bed with a separate curtain, light and tv for parent to stay overnight. Meals can be ordered from an extensive menu and are delivered to rooms. They changed sheets as often as requested, even multiple times a day.
People ask why I insist on traveling the hour distance to New Brunswick for emergencies, and this is why! If there was an option to give more than five stars, RWJ New Brunswick would definitely get it!

This program changed my life for the better. I found myself in the position of needing a higher level of care but didn’t know where to turn. Luckily, I had help and support in finding High Focus Parsippany. The program is structured very well. I can honestly say that between the individual sessions and the group sessions, I learned so many new coping skills and so much more about how to better myself. All the employees are so caring and genuinely want to see you get better. I learned a lot from other participants in the program as well. Andrew is the absolute best. Excellent program! The connections I made with all the clinicians/interns in only a few months was amazing, and helped me progress to where I am today (Special shout out to my clinician, Andrew, for making sure I'm okay always and helping me through some tough times!) The new building is beautiful, lots of light and windows as opposed to the old center. Thank you, Sylvia, for making me laugh at the times I wanted to cry, humor is much needed. Our tween recently completed the PHP program at High Focus Centers in Parsippany, and we felt compelled to share what truly sets this program apart. While the clinical care was strong for our son, the hidden gem of this program is the weekly Family Group counseling sessions for parents!

I have received wonderful therapeutical from my anxiety and stress. I first started coming here probably a year and a half ago and I saw a young lady name Pam, she was lovely, but went to another office, during that time I was starting to see of Andrea, who was a pivotal, life-changing therapist for me, I have been always in this self development, try to treat stress on my own type of person however, Andrea and I have come up with many coping skills and she’s told me through the most critical and most stressful times of My adult life. I give her so much credit. Not only is she empathetic and compassionate. She makes me feel like I’m not less than for feeling certain ways that I feel. I feel like that she’s help me to reframe certain thoughts that I’ve had that have cut me in a stressful crisis cycle . The front desk staff is fantastic, most importantly, this wonderful, lovely, professional, kind and beyond caring to every patient that she comes in contact with is Erin . She is irreplaceable, absolutely fantastic, and dealing with many situation at once, her and I actually took quite a bit because I have to fit my therapy into my schedule and she is accessible , and wonderfully accommodating. Her compassion for the patients that are there and what they’re going through is bar none!!! I am absolutely blessed, and I am becoming a better version of myself and have spread the word to dear friends and family to attend, as well . To be able to say that I am actually getting help from this wonderful community of trained professionals, who know exactly how to deal with people with all different needs of all different levels is really life-changing for me. I also attended a group that was spectacular, it made me feel less alone, and was supportive and not awkward and exactly what I needed.

Integrity House was very challenging and very rewarding. I was forced to face a lot of childish behavior I had been holding on to and actually work to change it. My sense of intitalment, my selfishness and to many more to list honestly. The staff there is great, always professional and compassionate. I'd really like to give a special shout out to my counselor Andres Ortega. He helped me replace so many bad traits through the application of spiritual principles. My gratitude, patience, forgiveness and understanding are at levels I never thought they could be and Andres was a huge part of that transformation. I've accepted that life isn't all roses, and that's ok. It's helped me focus on what's good and be in control of my feelings. Andres really challenged me to take a look at the role I played and play in my family and my relationship with my daughter and mother has been so much better as a result. I worked @Intergrity House (Bate Program) for 10 years and moved on to work in different programs throughout the years, I have to say this was one of the best places I worked in, they are there for their clients, understanding, their files are kept tight and bonus were the best. So, I will always be grateful to this program. Also the best, best thing i got from here is that I met my wonderful hubby there which he recently passed. I pass by 2x a week just to remember my experience there. The rose garden was one of my favorite places which was name after one of the most caring counselors from the end of the 80’s,

Grateful for the opportunity to go to Integrity house Newark. The staff were great my time there and they actually take clients to the dentist and doctor. We had events going to movies and the beach and always did something for a holiday. They allow visits and your family can bring you things you need. Again appreciative for the chance to work on myself in Integrity.

I looked at some of the negative reviews, however, I had quite the positive experience. First of all, having been in different locations so far this hospital has far been the best compared to others. I know that hospitals like their psych units often get a bad rep, hence the many negative reviews. I gotta praise the cleanliness of this place. The custodians take effort in cleaning at least once a day, such as the rooms and hallways. The staff were nice and caring such as nurses, social workers, doctors, OTs and behavioral health workers. They actually treat patients as actual human beings. My stay was pretty short, but it was the first time I got out stable and content after this stay despite my minimal time here. Thanks

out of all the rehabs i been to this the only one that worked. i’m cali sober, meaning i still smoke and drink, but i don’t do anything else anymore. the only “negative” is that the food sucked but even then we were able to have our parents bring us food. not to add i went in 2023 so i am more than positive they upgraded. all of their staff genuinely care about the patients coming in and out. if you’re considering sending your child to this facility, this is their best option, coming from an individual who spent her life in and out of hospitals and residentials. this is the best place you will ever find.
