My experience at Steps to Recovery has been great for the most part, the people and the environment are very welcoming and comforting. I have had some issues that have come up, but they usually get resolved. My only main gripe is with some of the other clients at the community living house fail to clean up after themselves, and some do not know self control. But, the staff here is very professional and easy to talk to. I find that the opportunities here for my recovery journey are pretty good, although I'd like access to more holistic therapy resources. I've actually personally facilitated a Dharma meeting and will facilitate more in the future. I appreciate my time here at STR and am excited for the future with them.

Simply an awesome caring facility. The staff gives 100 percent and then some! They display a true genuine concern for those in their care. Communication is exceptional! My son has been in many facilities over the years and Provive Welles is the best place that he has been in and made the most progress. Everyone that I’ve communicated with was phenomenal.

I’ve been with Provive for about a month or so now. I was having urges to drink myself into a blackout state. Been this way for about a week….I mentioned it in front of the house manager and nothing happened. Today was the worst of my urges. RCA was the best decision I made to start my recovery journey!!! When I went there I didn't know what to expect being as though I heard so many horror stories about recovery centers. To my surprise the center was very welcoming, clean, and comfortable, and the food was great. The staff was excellent and most of the patients were great and made me feel like I was not alone. I learned a lot of skills to help with my sobriety, when I was discharged I knew I was ready to continue my journey with confidence and knowledge. SUPER GREAT PROGRAM AND I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Really nice PHP and IOP. Nice to have a long term program for if you want/need it. Staff all really truly care it seems. Only thing is their transparency. The program is a MINIMUM OF 90 DAYS AND A FULL COMPLETION IS 6 MONTHS. And they have blackout periods for everything it seems. They also said things they weren't specific about, kind of like skirting around details, and straight up lied about the length of stay and passes. So I'll never forget that. But still lots of great things there and things they do. AND STILL A GREAT PROGRAM AND I HIGHLY RECCOMEND.

I loved my experience at Avenues. The counselors and staff are very nice and supportive. They helped me with as much as they possibly could. The groups each day were helpful and informative. I am pleased to give this 5-star review of MRC. I attended PHP and IOP, and had individual counseling twice a week. The counselors are excellent. They encourage a lot of participation in the groups. The topics are relevant to recovery- stress management, 12 steps, nutrition, body-mind connection, gratitude, and a lot more. Weekly yoga is offered and it doesn't matter what level you are. I was supported and cared for all the way through the process of outpatient recovery.

This is hands down a 5 star facility and program. The entire staff is professional, supportive, and encouraging during your treatment here. I wouldn’t have made it as far as I have without being there. I did the outpatient program but other patients here enjoyed the housing program. There are a range of therapists to choose from and they’re all great. There are different group therapies to sign up for if you’re interested like yoga, raki, etc. Don’t hesitate and sign up to change your life.

I spent a little over a month there. It wasn't under the best circumstances, and I was scared, nervous, and unsure about everything that was happening to me. Everyone that I dealt with there was incredibly kind, sympathetic, helpful, reassuring, and professional. I signed up for outpatient treatment and the staff was very friendly very helpful and my therapistMr. Derek) a good dude, very understanding never looked down on me because of my alcohol and powdered cocaine addiction. Unfortunately, my addictions got the best of me and I relapsed and didn't return.I was so ashamed of myself I didn't want to show my face and went back to boozing and now thankfully I'm finally getting help that I need. I was admitted to Jefferson Hospital suffering from severe alcohol withdrawal syndrome, borderline experiencing auditory hallucinations. I was also suffering from gait abnormality and balance and coordination issues so they transferred me to Wyndmoor Hills for Physical therapy and once I'm discharged well before I'm discharged, I'll pick a rehab facility for inpatient treatment.Wish me luck.

I've been to better and been to worse. They provide a therapeutic environment that allows clients the opportunity to heal and grow. They feed you well, the coffee is real and usually strong (though limited to meal times,) the gym is better than most. There are ample smoke breaks and there are decent amenities. It's not the Ritz, but it's not supposed to be. They're definitely understaffed, but the team they currently have is full of dedicated and compassionate people which made all the difference in my stay and helped my find direction and hope. I'm very satisfied and grateful.🙏

I had emergency colon surgery in March at Allentown. Unfortunately, they did it in a hurry because that what was necessary at the time. I had 9 weeks of pain and issues and required a second emergency surgery in May. The good news is, then I met Dr. Daniel J. Bowers. He became my regular doctor through this and I saw him several times. He is an excellent doctor and a very good man. He always took time to explain my situation with understanding and compassion when I was at a very low point in my life. I've been home 2 weeks and haven't felt this good in months. I finally feel like everything is behind me. A special thanks to Dr. Stewart and medical student Nate. AND the 8th floor nursing staff, especially Faye and Sam!!! I could never do the kind of work that these medical professionals do every day! But, I am grateful that they do! God bless them all!
