Phenomenal organization that truly cares about its patients recovery and were so helpful in my daughter's treatment, she is better off now from where she was when she first went in. It was not a perfect experience - there were several miscommunications that detracted from the recovery but their management owned all mistakes and missteps - Bill and Jen were especially forthcoming in this, something I appreciated. The IAFF COE is a life changing experience. The staff and clinicians are amazing and truly embody a sense of caring about the patients and we are more than patients to them. Most clinicians have close ties to the fire service and understand our hurt, frustrations and lack of understanding of feelings in the fire service. The incredible support of brother and sister firefighters here is unlike anything I have ever seen and gave me a whole new outlook on the meaning of brotherhood. If you are on the fence, call them. It saved so many of us I cant count.

I cannot say enough positive things about Brookdale. I ended up there during a very dark time in my life. They picked me up and cared for me. The facility itself is like being at a high end resort. The staff are kind and understanding. They have rules in place for the well being of the clients. I totally enjoyed being without the distraction of my phone and TV. It gave me the chance to work on myself in the peaceful Pocono environment. The staff at Brookdale stay in touch with me to make sure I am doing good and encourage me. I will look at Brookdale as family for the rest of my life.

Brookdale helped to set me up with a great starting foundation in my recovery journey. All members of the staff made themselves available with any questions or concerns I had. The food and living amenities were wonderful. The classes and lectures were informative and geared to many different approaches to sobriety. One of the best parts is the active alumni community that awaits once you leave. You never have to feel as though you are going through this process alone.

It's okay. I've been to better clincs. This one has a hard time keeping councilors and things are always chaotic and unorganized. Different rules for different days and also for different people. If your known and friendly with certain people you get treated differently than those who are new or not as outgoing and personable. I won’t go into specific details of who is the patient but I’ve been to many different behavioral health practices and this one by far as given me the most hope, the most reliable, professional staff and have made things better in so many ways. The office staff is absolutely the best. I haven’t talked to all of the providers there in a session capacity but the 2 that I have are beyond awesome and all the others are friendly and I would feel comfortable as their patient as well. Holcomb has been a life saver. They actually care about you and what you are going through and they treat you with the upmost respect and are extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable, they now have 2 Drs who can prescribe medication if needed and I have personally interacted with 4 different therapist and they are all just wonderful and help teach you the tools and coping skills to apply in your everyday routine

Plus they were really flexible when I needed to change appointment times which happens a lot with me because of my work schedule. They also had telehealth appointments which made scheduling easier. I enjoyed my time at avenues in lake Ariel PA. I did the 35-day program. The staff in the community where for the most part great. And I wish they gave you longer than 5 minute phone calls 3 days a week. Your counselor will work with you if you need to make business phone calls and whatnot.

Facility is beautiful, private and well placed. But the important part of course is the care provided and our family found it excellent. There were abundant highly qualified and inspirational staff. New Pathway has been the best experience in my recovery. The way the program is run is different than any other iop. The counselors train you physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the soarfit workout, the yoga/meditation and groups, I always feel great when I leave. And when you graduate, alumni can come back and continue with the workouts!
