To say I am grateful for Alina Lodge is a true understatement. This was the first rehab I completed. Everything about this place was 5 stars. If there was an issue, it was promptly addressed and resolved. I stayed for the full 28 days and received so much love and care as well as very helpful and informative classes, groups, counseling, therapy, grief therapy and more. The staff are truly there to help each guest and not just there for a paycheck like many other places I have been to and heard about. Of course there is always going to be something that us addicts will find wrong and complain about, but in all honesty, this place has something really wonderful going for it. It is a very special place. Just passing through the gates on the first day, I knew that I would receive the help I was so desperate to receive, and I did. I recommend Alina Lodge to anyone who is truly serious about their recovery. Like anything in life, what you put into it is what you will get from it. Thank you Alina Lodge! I am forever grateful.

Alina Lodge not only provided the rehabilitation for my husband, but it did not ignore the effects on the family. Through the family program, I was able to understand addiction and its impact on me as a spouse. I will be forever grateful to Alina Lodge. Gratitude beyond measure. Love this place!

It's been a few years since i stayed but time hasnt eraesed the good memories. The place is very nice with a large cobblestone court yard in the the middle. Theres some small water features as well. I will admit that the rooms could use some updating. The folks there were very kind and respectful and the food was always good, its buffet style if I remember correctly. My counselor was great and the nursing staff was freindly. It's coed and they do the classes together but do not mess arounnd with the girls because they will boot you quickly.

I first went to Brookdale in the summer of ‘21 and i skated through and did not really care about the program. I was there to appease people to get them off my back. I shortly relapsed. I went back to Brookdale May 22-July 1st, 2025 with a whole different mindset. Out of the high number of rehabs i have been to, this was the one time that I actually put the work in that I needed to do. I was encouraged to participate and get completely honest with things that have happened in my life, which I wholeheartedly did. I dove into groups I never wouldve done in the past. I immersed myself into unity, dharma, SMART. I utilized every single person in that building like they were my own therapist, and not one single person had a problem with it. Brookdale, in my opinion , has changed my life and I am at the point in my life where I do not want to go backwards. I would just like to thank all of the staff , Rick, Tony, Danielle, Amy, Matt Delp, Lindsay, Drew, Dave, Emma, Gigi, Angel, Keri, WYATT, the kitchen staff (Sam, Miss Lorraine, Grace), Ms. Cynthia, the nurses (Jillian, Scott, ZILLAH, Debbie, Stephanie, Doc C, Krista) Receptionists Carol, Tammy, Ms. Cynthia. Josh and Bob. Everyone was amazing. I recommed to anyone who is seeking help!

Although a surge of cases was ongoing during check in, the entire staff was found to be very attentive. Particularly the Registered Nurses and Nurse Assistants, often not given the recognition that they deserve. My Spouse staying with me through the whole time I was there, was treated with the same respect, asked repeatedly if there was anything that they could do for her every time they came to check in on me. I understand Hackettstown Hospital gets a bad reputation, but something that people have to understand is, it depends of the time and day and basically your luck. Not all hospitals holds up a 100% 5 star rating. Also not everyone who's had a good experience would think to add a good review on Google for a hospital, it's usually the bad that motivates someone to leave a review. In the past 15 years I've lived in hackettstown I've had a decent to great experience at hackettstown hospital, probably been there a handful of times for myself, my spouse, my kids and even when I had to accompany friends. The staff and doctors are usually nice and professional, the only annoying thing would be wait times but that's normal in hospitals. Sometimes it was fast. Anyway my point is I'd like to thank doctor Scott and the hospital staff who helped taking good care of my 7 year old autistic non verbal daughter, thank you for your patience, and care to make sure she was comfortable and that I was alright. You guys were awesome! (Date seen was 07/18/2025 in the am)

The doctors were knowledgeable and receptive with the exception of a few who didn’t read my chart and the ENT who was a total disappointment. My neck looked like I had mumps and he asked why he was there. The nurses went above and beyond again with the exception of one who had no empathy for elders, made me wait 45 mins-1 hour for simple requests. Another, who was otherwise good totally butchered my arm inserting an IV. I was given misinformation in the ER. I have a port and was told they couldn’t use it to access bloodwork. After my arm swelled and was raw from jabbing over and over, the nurse in inpatient noticed my port. To the contrary, they used it from then on without incident. This nurse never got the needle into the vein. The medication didn’t go into my blood, it shot out under my skin. Burning was unbearable and painful. The nurse lacking in patient care that I mentioned earlier, clearly was in some sort of power struggle to exert she was the boss. I found her controlling and smug behaviors bordering on abusive. The receptionists were good except on my last day. This person did not answer calls so I went out to the desk and he/she was no where to be found. God forbid you questioned them, your medicine would be withheld for an hour. They need to retrain nurses on how to insert an IV. I got tired of excuses about collapsing veins. If they know what they are doing, the IV process goes smoothly, collapsing veins or not. They also need to do something about the insulting and smug attitudes of senior nurses and how they treat patients. Overall, my stay of 5 days was good. There are always a few bad apples in every basket. I had one additional concern of which I’ve not experienced in Morristown, Hackensack or St. Clares medical centers. The additional service providers were locked into strict time management schedules with total disregard for patients. I was receiving a nebulizer treatment. The patient transition person insisted on asking me questions and interrupting my treatment. When I told her to stop interfering with treatment she got all nervy and said in an irritated voice that she was trying to help. I beg to differ. The only person she was helping was herself to meet her deadlines. She was however, ultimately the only one providing additional services, e.g. PT, OT, speech, who came back at a later time to complete transition services. The other therapists removed me from their schedules never bothering to perform services, but I would guess they received payment for stepping in and out of my room. The second speech therapist being the worst. The first, who was as on rotation from another hospital, was excellent. The second wanted to watch me eat a meal and when I said I’d prefer eating in private could she come back and watch me eat with applesauce, she removed me from her roster without any regard for the patient’s well being. If I hadn’t been hospitalized a number of of times in other hospitals, I wouldn’t have known any different. However, in no other hospital did staff disrupt meals due to inflexibility in meeting their own needs. These service providers were selfish and had no respect for patients’ privacy especially when the only highlight of laying in a hospital bed is unfortunately mealtime.

Redco workers are truly amazing. Very friendly and very open minded. They don't push all kinds of medications and they don't switch them so much like other places. They truly help with keeping your moods stable. Gotta be open and honest for mental health care or its not going to be good. I totally recommend Redco.

So, I Just want to say that Nicole@Redco is the best of all times. The staff is great from the front desk to the back office the only thing missing is a couch in the rooms as an option for the patient to lounge in and unload to gain tools to face the challenges ahead. Thank you Nicole@Redco!!!

I have been a client of this facility since October 2021 when I came home from inpatient. Pyramid is the foundation to my recovery... I have never felt like I had to stop coming just because I "completed" a program. I actively attend weekly group sessions and biweekly individual sessions with my counselor Jim. He has been a huge advocate for me since taking over my case a year ago. He is honest and patient with me and makes me feel heard. I have been on MAT throughout the entire time and even though it didn't always go my way, they supported me through it all. Dr. Malcuhay has been seeing me for years and makes me feel like she genuinely cares for my well-being. Sacha from Allentown is one of the nurses that has shown me compassion and held me accountable when I was extremely late for an appointment. Alyssa the nurse is prompt and professional, and it's refreshing to actually receive responses to my emails. Kate, Katie, Gage, Towanna have all been wonderful and I look forward to seeing them all. If your insurance is up to date and paid, you will have no issues here. Thank you for helping me find myself again!

I have been going to pyramid for 8 months, I completed my program and I still come once a week for group. Kate is my counselor and our group leader and she is amazing. All the staff is wonderful and very friendly. I have been clean and sober since my first visit 8 months ago. It's a wonder feeling.

Only been here a couple times so far, but place seems decent. Staff are all friendly, and I like that they have cloud cloth's over the lights to make lighting more bearable. It is also close to home, which is nice.

Really nice, spacious, comfortable home (that’s an actual photo in the profile) in a quiet, safe, classy neighborhood with easy access to main thoroughfares/highways. Residents get relatively more freedom than their peers at other sober homes, but while still getting all the support they want/need. There are rules to follow of course, like regular testing to ensure sobriety, but for the most part it’s not a universal set of restrictions, but rather a unique system of support/care tailored to each individual. The case manager, Abbie, is on site M-F, is a wonderful person, and will literally help you with anything. Also, a great perk is free dinner that you order everyday, included with the reasonably priced rent. Finally, Howard (owner) & the aforementioned Abbie are just incredible people, a delight to be around & get to know, and are genuinely invested in each & every resident’s success in all facets of life.

This is a without a doubt one of the better sober living houses in the tri-state area. It is plainly evident that the owner and the house manager have a genuine interest in seeing the residents succeed. They care a lot; and they are actively engaged on a daily basis with residents to help with recovery, day to day living concerns, planning and the transition from addiction back to a happy, whole and functional member of society. They work hard to have the house feel like a community.
The house is spacious, clean and well kept. Appliances and furnishing are modern and tidy. The house is on a traditional residential cul-de-sac, which is not a common set up for a sober living. In that regard, the house is not walker-friendly and a car is almost a necessary thing to have to be able to comfortably get around town. The surrounding towns have all the necessities and activities that a person needs, but you can't walk there.
Overall, Cambridge is a good stopover on your recovery journey.
