While having a possibly serious medical emergency, I was treated with kindness and respect my entire stay. EVERY member of their staff I have come into contact with has been exceptional. They put up with my irrational urge to flee and put my mind at ease.
I was a resident there in the late 80s I remember the staff there I remember a lot of the staff members. They were very supportive got me through a lot of hard times I didn’t have the greatest upbringing, but the first time I fell in love With a boy, he was a resident there as well. I don’t have a whole Lotta great memories in my life, but I remember being there and I remember having somebody that I could talk to whether it was a staff member or staff member in the unit. The counselors used to sing a song and play guitar and it was such an amazing song and this day I remember that song, I remember going on activities and playing baseball and finally for the first time in my life having somebody that actually listen to me I would actually love to be able to get a hold of an employee there. His name is Glenn. He was on the boys unit last I heard he was working in the school Wrote a story about the boy I remember in my life during time I really needed them so thank you To the staff that was there during the time I was there

@ step 1 is were I got My life back the staff gave me the tools to help give me a purpose in life step 1 is were I found a relationship with God I'm 3 months and 21 days sober and clean from all drugs I'm am proud to call everyone @ step 1 my family thanks to all the staff members @step 1 thank to my best support God if you want to get clean and sober step 1 is the place sobriety is there if you want it!!!To look at my progress my Facebook name is Marcus Locklear
This rehab was ok. What I liked most about it was they definitely taught me how I can have fun sober. We went for walks, bowling, church, fishing, got to see pigs, and meetings AA and NA, pottery, and the gym it was by far the best rehab I’ve ever been to!!! The staff really cares about your recovery. I am now 1month sober and counting! I feel awesome!!! Shoutout to my counselor Cami she was the absolute best!!! I would recommend this place for anyone trying to get sober. There are only 28 beds which is great! Cause then everyone has time to truly stay focused on their recovery and why they’re there. Thanks alpine for everything!

Best detox available in the western PA area. The nursing staff is top notch- Jeff will take great care of you. Shane will do whatever he can to help you. Comfortable beds, restaurant food, snacks at the ready, 24/7smoking outside. If you need help... Call them and they will pick you up! 💯

I was there at the end of 2017, and I've been clean and sober ever since. This place is great. They really care and respect their patients. They're great at taking you off-grounds for different things such as church, NA/AA meetings, walks if it's nice out, etc. The food is great, and there's always snacks to eat in between meals. My room felt more like a college dorm room than a room at a rehab, complete with its own private bathroom and shower. Definitely have all the good things to say about this place and am forever thankful for what they did for me.
I gave a bad review and I really thought about it it was me when I went I was in a bad place and time, to be honest everyone there got me through a really tough time I just want to apologize and I am thankful to be where I am.

Hello my name is Mark and I'm an alcoholic I have been for 40 years now not that I am proud of that. I had another DUI conviction and decided I needed help for my problem. I went to ccdaec before I had to by court it was the best thing I could have done for myself but ultimately went to jail and I saw a councilor while I was incarcerated which helped. I made the first four steps but then was released and I started my court ordered counciling which included groups and individual counciling. If you knew me you would know I'm not good with change or new people. I've never felt more comfortable with the counselor s I was assigned to. They brought out all of the things I have never talked about before. They made me so comfortable and supported me like I have never known before. I would like to take this time to say thank you for all that you have done for me but unfortunately without you in my life I have relapsed once again but thank you for trying it was a good run when you all were in my life. I'm not proud of what I have done but thank all of you for doing what you do. I love you all and once again thank you.

The Alcanon club is open to anyone who desires to stop drinking and has games of chance, a full lunch table and regular daily AA meetings as well as social events. The months of October/November they have a talent show and a costume party just to name a few. Nicest people you will meet. Again, they welcome all walks of life.
The people at the Achievement Center are the most kind people you can ever talk to, they help you with any mental issues that you have and also help with people who have autistic disabilities, they are incredibly friendly people and listen to anything you say.

I was here Probally 30 years ago. Senior unit. Father Regis was there at that time. Great great guy. I forget my counselor name but frank and Patti I remeber. That place did a lot for me. Learned to go work everyday working In the woodshop with Paul? Can’t remember. A lot of people saying there kids got jumped. Not sure how that can happen. We were never alone for more that a few minutes . But it was an experience I won’t forget. Especially when I should have been released but my mom said no and the counselor couldn’t make up lies anymore of why I was there stayed 2 months longer than needed for school to be out even though I got my ged they hys.

Patient in Corry. ETC saved my life in a very bad time. Jen pushed me to be better, helped me get involved in peer services and showed me how my story can help others.
Dr Simora is a God send. He did genesight testing on me and got me on the correct meds. I've never had a problem with anything regarding this facility. I've always received calls back when I leave a message. My meds are always filled. Thank you to all.

My Mom had surgery there today. She was nervous but June the nurse made her feel so much better!! Super nice and knowledgeable nurse! Kristina at registration was very nice too!! Thankful for a good experience for her!

Very professional staff. I heard a patient in the room across the hall throwing a fit and being unreasonable with all the nurses and the doctor and they continued to treat her respectfully and professionally, in spite of being cursed out every time.
Hands down best rehab in regards of true desire for journey of recovery from addition/alcoholism and mental illness. I can't believe how much integrity and genuine care and concern from staff and program. I will always appreciate this place for saving my life today. Very knowledgeable and experienced staff, most in recovery themselves. Gage house will always have a place in my heart for saving my life today. I have been to plenty of rehabs so I should know from a client's perspective I wouldn't recommend wasting your time anywhere else if you're serious about making a choice for a better life.
For me, they are the best service my family could have. I feel really grateful for the love they have shown my family and me, and for everything they have done to help us. I can tell that you truly have a service call, and I encourage you to keep up the fantastic work you are doing. YOU ARE CHANGING LIVES!
