I have been a patient at this provider for 3 years now. I see both primary and workers comp. and the long wait time to see my provider is ridiculous and unacceptable. Why bother making an appointment when you have to wait upwards of an hour, sometimes longer just to see your provider for 5 minutes and to be sent to a specialist. I understand that this is a busy office, However. For patients like myself who have to take a portion of their sick or personal time off from work to make an appointment and than having to call work to say I need to extend my time off because i am still waiting to see my doctor is not very respectful or professional on the part of the providers at this practice! We, the patients, are expected to show up to our appointments not only on time but 15 minutes early and to give timely notice if we have to reschedule. If you are asking us to respect your time, then why shouldn't you have to respect ours?! Also, the available parking in your tiny parking lot is annoyance as there are hardly any spots available, and the small space makes it dangerous to maneuver your car. It's an accident waiting to happen.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We sincerely apologize for the long wait times you’ve encountered and truly understand how frustrating and inconvenient that can be, especially when you're taking time off work and trying to manage other responsibilities.

We want to assure you that we hear your concerns, and we are actively working on improving our scheduling processes to reduce wait times and stay more consistently on schedule. However, due to the individual needs and complexities of each patient visit, there are times when our schedule runs behind despite our best efforts. That said, we recognize this should never become a norm, and we are committed to doing better.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding parking. We understand that the limited space can be difficult to navigate, and we are exploring options to improve safety and accessibility in the future.

Your time is valuable, and your feedback is instrumental in helping us provide the respectful and professional care that every patient deserves. Thank you for being a patient for the past three years, we do not take your continued trust lightly.

Addiction Treatments

Treatments

The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.

When you choose drug rehab in New York, you'll participate in a variety of treatments that are designed to help you live a drug-free lifestyle. Common methods of treatment include group, individual, and family counseling, medication management, nutrition, exercise, and management of co-occurring mental health disorders.

Opioid rehabs specialize in supporting those recovering from opioid addiction. They treat those suffering from addiction to illegal opioids like heroin, as well as prescription drugs like oxycodone. These centers typically combine both physical as well as mental and emotional support to help stop addiction. Physical support often includes medical detox and subsequent medical support (including medication), and mental support includes in-depth therapy to address the underlying causes of addiction.

Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Programs

Adult rehab programs include therapies tailored to each client's specific needs, goals, and recovery progress. They are tailored to the specific challenges adult clients may face, including family and work pressures and commitments. From inpatient and residential treatment to various levels of outpatient services, there are many options available. Some facilities also help adults work through co-occurring conditions, like anxiety, that can accompany addiction.

Young adulthood can be an exciting, yet difficult, time of transition. Individuals in their late teens to mid-20s face unique stressors related to school, jobs, families, and social circles, which can lead to a rise in substance use. Rehab centers with dedicated young adult programs will include activities and amenities that cater to this age group, with an emphasis on specialized counseling, peer socialization, and ongoing aftercare.

Clinical Services

Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.

Never follows scheduled appointment time. Doesn’t matter if a morning or afternoon appointment. Wait time will be 45-1hr in the waiting room after check in.

Response from the owner
Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize for the long wait times you’ve experienced during your visits. We understand how frustrating it is to arrive on time, whether for a morning or afternoon appointment, only to wait 45 minutes or longer to be seen. Your time is important, and we regret that we have not consistently met your expectations.

Please know that we are aware of this issue and are actively working to improve our scheduling and workflow to better stay on time. While each patient’s needs can vary and occasionally cause delays, we recognize that this should not be a regular occurrence. Our goal is to respect your time just as we ask you to respect ours.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope to provide you with a more efficient and timely experience moving forward.
